time. With that being said, I wish I could have hired them without going through Jenna. Prior to putting my deposit down, Jenna was willing to communicate. After the deposit, I felt forgotten about. I would have to reach out multiple times before hearing back from Jenna. It took days or weeks to get a response. Although I know my schedule was rough, because Jenna would not respond in a timely manner, I did not get to trial until a week before my wedding. The day before the wedding is the most I ever heard from her because my hair stylist had to change due to a situation that was outside of Jenna’s control.

and my 9 bridesmaids plus my mom and mother in law done in time for pictures. Not only that, but they were all super sweet and fun to work with. Jenna is incredible and was able to knock out everyone’s hair herself - truly impressive. She also took the time to ensure me and my girls felt safe with COVID by wearing masks and providing negative PCRs/Proof of Vaccination. Overall, I would recommend Jenna and her team for any wedding party/event. I hope to work with them again! :)

re night! I booked Jenna for my postponed wedding reception on 10/3/2021. On 10/1/2021, Jenna reached out to let me know that she might not be able to do my hair for my wedding because some other hair stylist was sick who was supposed to do a much bigger wedding the same day as mine, so she felt she had to step in to do the hair for that wedding. She sent me a replacement’s Instagram to take a look and said she picked her since she did looks similar to what I had last year. I’m an easy going person so I didn’t make a fuss, although looking back I wish I had because some other hair stylist being sick shouldn’t impact me and my wedding when I booked Jenna for my hair. Jenna said she would call me back in an hour to confirm. I didn’t hear back from her until the afternoon of 10/2/21, the afternoon before my wedding. I found that one of my friends used the replacement hair stylist for her wedding a month ago and she paid her much less than what I was planning to pay Jenna. Jenna at first said she couldn’t reduce my price but we finally compromised and landed in the middle of the two prices, which again looking back I should’ve been able to pay less, without an argument, for the unexpected change and inconvenience the weekend of my wedding! Jenna then texts me the final balance, which was incorrect, so I responded asking her questions about it. No response from Jenna. I followed up a few hours later saying I wanted to resolve my questions and make my final payment so I didn’t have to deal with it the day of my wedding. No response. I followed up again a few hours later asking for the replacement’s contact info. At this point I was worried I wouldn’t even have a hair stylist for my wedding and told my bridesmaids to bring their hair straighteners and curlers with them! Finally around 10pm the night before my wedding Jenna responds, just with the hair stylist’s contact info. The MORNING OF MY WEDDING, among the millions of other preparations and last minute things I have going on (best man and bridesmaid with the stomach bug, etc), Jenna calls me to have me pay the final balance. I promptly paid her to just finally be done with it. The replacement hair stylist did show up and she did a great job with everyone’s hair except mine did not hold. It barely held until the ceremony. I wanted the same hair style as my initial wedding and I know if Jenna had prioritized me as her client and done my hair it would have been what I was expecting. I felt taken advantage of and was disappointed and frustrated to have to deal with extra inconvenience and stress on my wedding weekend. I know Jenna is a great hair stylist but I would not recommend if you want to avoid unexpected changes, unresponsiveness, and extra stress. I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt I should share my experience so others don’t have to go through the same issues.

ts on my hair in my life! She worked some type of magic to transform my stick-straight Asian hair into a work of art that actually lasted (it withstood a rainy day and oppressive heat). And to top it off, she is so fun to hang out with, she’ll fit right in with the girls! As for makeup, Jenna partnered with Candice Bertolini who did a phenomenal job with all our makeup. The airbrush job was SO natural and gorgeous, I felt confident and beautiful all day! I was so afraid of sweating it all off that day, but Candice is a wizard as well, and I look fabulous in all my photos! Seriously, what a team of badass babes! Highly recommend booking these ladies.

work with Jenna. All of my girls commented on how much they loved their hair and makeup, which when you have a large bridal party there is usually one that doesn't love it. Candice was also amazing with my makeup and I felt like they both listened to me and did exactly what I was expecting. Additionally, Jenna is SO fast with the hair. Everyone looks great and she really moves the day along. I would highly recommend Zuri for anyone's wedding day!

I am still getting compliments on the hair and makeup! I highly recommend a trial since I ended up with a completely different hairstyle than what I thought I wanted so it was so important to try the look out first. Thank you Jenna and team! y 1st trial with Jenna, (which went well), however, things took a turn for the worse. Ultimately I decided to give up my $600 deposit and work with somebody else. This was devastating to me. I scheduled a 2nd hair trial with Jenna 3 months in advance and showed her pictures of the look I wanted. Jenna did not inform me that I should purchase extensions before my 2nd trial, otherwise I would have done so right away. When I emailed Jenna to confirm the 2nd trial, she told me that she could “probably” fit in one or two styles for me as she scheduled another bride right after me. Being that I scheduled with her months in advance, and was traveling 2 ½ hours to see her, this was very discouraging. She also told me that she would like me to bring her preferred brand of hair extensions with only two day’s notice. I felt as though Jenna wasn’t trying to help me think of an alternative solution, rather adamant about her preferences in extensions. Ultimately, I decided to cancel my trial. Now feeling frantic I asked Jenna if we could reschedule the trial so I can purchase the hair extensions that she preferred to work with. She said she would get back ASAP with new dates. Two weeks passed and she never reached back out to me with a new time. All in all there was a lot of miscommunication and assumptions. I felt as if I was being put on the back burner. No bride should feel that way.

could do my hair every day! She is truly very talented and was able to do a total of 6 ladies by herself in 4 hours! She also charges very fairly and there weren’t any surprises. I would use her again in a heartbeat... love her and her work!!!!

wanted to share. Prior to our wedding we had scheduling issues with Jenna and her make up artist for a trial. While we completely appreciate that this is a complicated year with COVID the scheduling issues were frustrating. For our original trial date we were told only a few hours prior that the trial was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled. Then, this began the process of being asked for our availability and days would go by with no response. This would result in us having to follow up with Jenna to see what was going on and ultimately and provide more dates as some of the dates we suggested had already passed. The key thing that was frustrating was we would be told "I will get back to you tonight with a date" and we wouldn't hear back for days. This happened about 4 times over the span of about a month and a half. Ultimately I wasn't able to do a make up trial. While in the grand scheme of things this isn't a huge deal it made me extremely nervous that they wouldn't show up for our wedding day since it seemed that scheduling was complicated and getting a response was an issue. I hoped for the best for the day of and unfortunately I was underwhelmed. I just received my wedding photos today and I realized that a majority of our girls hair had dropped before we even got to the ceremony, including my own. Looking at pictures I can see pieces of hair that look to have not even been ran through a curling iron. Additionally, all of my girls did fake eyelashes (which is an additional charge) and the look was barely noticeable. I noticed this the day of the wedding so I had to explicitly state to the make up artist that I wanted the lashes to actually be noticed. I have been in a lot of weddings and this was just not the experience I was hoping for for my own.

enna effortlessly gave me the most perfect style that lasted all day and night. Not only is she talented, but she's also super sweet! She sent me a bunch of jewelry and hair vine options to match my dress. And she styled 2 of my bridesmaids who were not scheduled to have their hair done. She managed to do updos, curls, braids, etc. for myself and eight bridesmaids in about 3 hours. I highly recommend Jenna to all brides for hair & if we didn't have a makeup artist in the family, I would have loved for her to do that as well! Thank you Jenna!

My mom said my hair had never looked so good and like I had a ton of hair without extensions! When it was time for my own wedding again immediately I thought of Jenna! She and the makeup artist Alana came to my apartment for a trial and I could not have been happier and more confident. On my wedding day they both were such a joy to be with all morning. All of my bridesmaids and my mother looked incredible! Jenna and Alana took my insecurities and made me feel the most confident and beautiful I have ever felt on the most important day of my life!

ion. But Jenna and Alyssa are phenomenally talented and they worked magic. I looked like myself – just far more glamorous. During my trial, Jenna and Alyssa were very helpful in working me through the process of deciding what precisely I wanted (I came in with some vague ideas and a huge pinterest board) and in responding with adjustments wherever I asked for them. And in spite of the hot day and a long long night of dancing, everything still looked fabulous at the end of the evening! They also did a fantastic job with my bridesmaids, even the one who came in claiming her hair was impossible to work with. Not for Jenna! It was a pleasure working with them both from the trial to the wedding day and I cannot recommend them enough!

amazing with my first look which was down and wavy( i have a ton of hair and she truly made it magical) and than my second look i wanted something up and comfortable but classy and chic which she truly accomplished with an amazing braid and hair piece. day of my wedding. I felt so confident and beautiful about the way I looked on the most important day of my life - my wedding day! Thank you for being so fun to work with during this whole process too - from the hair trial to getting all my girls ready the morning of my wedding. All day I got compliments about how beautiful my hair and makeup looked and that it looked like "me" and looked "natural" which is exactly what I was looking for! Despite the dancing all night and endless tears I had during the speeches, my look stayed perfect all day long! Also my groom said I looked gorgeous, so what other compliment could I really ask for :) Thank you so much for making me feel like a princess.
