More than two months later, I am still waiting for money I was told would be refunded and reimbursed, while continuing to carry the financial burden of emergency airfare and hotel costs I had to secure because the remaining portion of the trip was canceled. I paid thousands of dollars for an international group travel experience scheduled for June 28 through July 8, 2026. The package included specific accommodations, transportation, meals, transfers, activities, and curated experiences. During the trip, there were significant changes and substitutions, promised components were not provided, and ultimately the remaining portion of our trip was canceled. As a result, I had to secure emergency replacement airfare and additional hotel accommodations in order to get home. YOUnique Ventures established a reimbursement process, and I submitted my documentation and receipts in July as requested. I am still waiting for reimbursement and resolution. I have also repeatedly requested an accounting explaining how the refund amount for my prepaid package was calculated. I am not asking for confidential supplier contracts, commissions, negotiated rates, profit margins, or another traveler’s information. I am simply asking to understand how the amount I was told I would receive was determined based on what I paid for versus what was canceled, substituted, not provided, refunded, or credited. I have been told that the itemized information is proprietary. For me, this is no longer simply about a disappointing travel experience. It is about what happens when things go wrong. When you entrust a travel professional with thousands of dollars and international arrangements, you are trusting them not only to curate an experience, but also to communicate, problem-solve, protect their travelers, and take accountability when the experience cannot be delivered as promised. That is where this experience failed me most. I have documentation supporting what I have shared, including my paid invoice, communications regarding the cancellation, the refund and reimbursement process communicated by YOUnique Ventures, my submitted reimbursement request and receipts, and my subsequent attempts to obtain resolution. I cannot recommend YOUnique Ventures based on my experience. I sincerely hoped this would be resolved privately and professionally. Unfortunately, it has not been. If you are considering entrusting YOUnique Ventures with your destination event or travel experience, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about cancellations, refunds, emergency travel arrangements, supplier changes, and how your money will be handled if the experience cannot be completed as contracted.

uestionable practices. You don’t get what you pay for, and you may not have rooms when you go to check in. Why? Because the rooms are not PAID FOR. I could go on, but to be stranded in a foreign country and told to get home on your own is insane. Don’t book for a wedding. Don’t book for a trip. DON’T BOOK THIS COMPANY.

dates of travel without my permission. She refuses to give your money back and tell you that its not refundable. This is FRAUD. KENDRA will not get away with this and still owes me 3580. She is the most unprofessional person i have dealt with in business. She is to busy going on the vacations she books instead of booking the trips she plans for the guest that she contracted. She has deceptive business practices, and she will not get away with this. IM not done with her and her business will not do this to anyone else. Shes rude, disrespectful and has a excuse for everything. She broke a contract then tells you that its not refundable which is illegal. JUST WAIT.

ents are supposed to work with you to make your experience great, not give attitude and not care. I would not book with Kendra, she will be quick to take that money but slow to help you in the time of need. Book elsewhere, I promise it will save a headache.

exible. I’ve also used their travel concierge services for my and my husband’s birthdays for the past 3 years, my honeymoon, and my anniversary. I love how Kendra caters to her clients needs. I definitely recommend!

yalty. I was so impressed with Kendra’s attention to detail and helpful suggestions leading up to the trip. I know for sure that when my day comes I will be reaching out for my own dream destination wedding and honeymoon. Hopefully my boyfriend takes the hint ;-)

hich i though was strange. Just felt really out the loop on what I was paying for...still do. Also when I asked for basic detail about what I was paying for i was told "feel free to book elsewhere if you have concerns" instead of providing me detail. Be prepared to be kept in the dark if you book. Wont be using for my bachelor party or honeymoon.
