Chris was AMAZING to work with! He was so helpful with the ceremony and has an amazing pre-made script! All of our guests loved his personality and we had such a fun time with him!
Chris was so easy and pleasant to work with. He allowed us to exit our ceremony to be exactly what we pictured for our wedding day. He kept everything so professional yet fun, he j...
ust fit our personalities and our day to a T. If you want all of the pieces of your typical wedding ceremony but also want it to feel like your own, I would highly recommend Chris and You Had Me At I Do.
Chris was the Officiant & DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! He is so easy going, has a great sense of humor and is really good at rolling with changes in the moment...
. My husband and I threw a lot of changes his way and he handled them effortlessly. We had so many compliments on our custom ceremony. Everyone said that it was the most fun, memorable and beautiful ceremony they have ever attended and they all loved the music at both the ceremony and the reception! We couldn't be happier that we hired Chris. You will not regret it either!
Chris was both our officiant and DJ. He did a really great job working with us before hand helping to guide us through different types of things we could put in our ceremony. He al...
so let me add a nice poem I found to our ceremony to make it more "us". He helped keep us on track with reminders of finding songs for first dance, mother and father dances. He helped to streamline the day. He also kept our day going smoothly so I didn't have to worry about specific times of things it was really great. My only wish would be to have gotten our marriage certificate to the courthouse earlier so I could start the name change process and get my new husband on my insurance asap. I even waited a week before going to the courthouse to get the certified copies and the license wasn't there yet. It ended up getting there later in the day. All in all, Chris did a really great job with the ceremony, and all the music during our day!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! :)
Chris did our ceremony and he was easy to work with. The rehearsal and ceremony went smooth and we were able to customize everything.
However, he ended up being 45 minutes late...
for the rehearsal, as he didn't plan for traffic.
After wedding, our marriage certificate wasn't sent to the courthouse right away and he was unsure that it was sent to the right place.
In the end, the marriage certificate made it to the courthouse.
Chris was both the DJ and the officiant for our wedding. Prior to the wedding, he met with us by phone as often as I requested and was responsive to all my questions. Chris arriv...
ed at our rehearsal on time, and was extremely professional. He walked us through exactly what we could expect for our wedding ceremony and was very organized. He knew our ceremony by heart. Our wedding was outside, and on the day of the wedding, we had a rain scare. But, he handled it extremely well and the ceremony was flawless. We received many compliments on how well he officiated. As a DJ, he introduced us correctly, played many of our requests (we had a lot), took requests, and was able to draw people back to the dance floor when there was a lull. Everyone had a great time.
Chris did an amazing job for our ceremony. He had everything we wanted in it and he added some nice touches that individualized our wedding from any others. Besides being slightly ...
difficult to communicate with, he still did an amazing job and was there for us in the last week leading up to the wedding. Guests complimented us on how nice the ceremony was.
Rev Larry Truitt was perfect!! Our ceremony was flawless, short and sweet!! He had a great personality, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!
My husband and I were planning a secular ceremony with a lot of music, and were looking for an officiant who could meet our unique needs. We were sold when we saw a video of Rev. ...
Chris doing the marriage speech from The Princess Bride. It wasn't the sort of thing we were looking for, but we knew he would be easy to work with. We met with Chris over coffee and discussed what kind of wedding we wanted. He was extremely open to our ideas. We left with a copy of his normal secular wedding script, and he let us tinker with it as much as we wanted. In the end we had a completely custom wedding ceremony, and our guests were endlessly impressed by how personal it was. Rev. Chris is obviously a people person and did a great job of calming down a nervous bride. I would definitely recommend You Had Me At I Do, both for religious weddings and for couples like us who are looking for something a little different.
Chris performed our wedding ceremony and he did a beautiful job! Everyone in my family (and I mean everyone - and there are about 60 of them) came up to me after the ceremony and ...
said how wonderful it was. They said it was personable, funny, and full of heart. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant! Also, before the wedding, I had a ton of questions (as every bride does!) and he was very responsive, replying to my emails the same day. He also went out of his way to do research for us, as we were getting married out of state. (he was also our DJ for the evening and did an awesome job! you can read my review under Edge DJ entertainment) Chris owns both companies, and he will give a discount if you get a package for an officiant and DJ together.
My guests were ready to go to whatever church this guy was a reverend at. Seriously! Not only were we pleased with the meetings we had with him to go over the ceremony, he was also...
easy going when we were 20 mins late to our wedding rehearsal! Reverend Chris Truitt made the ceremony fun and entertaining even when flies were disrupting everything, and we couldnt get our unity candle to light. He put together the perfect ceremony for us and helped us say at ease!
Rev. Chris did such a wonderful job with our ceremony! It was absolutely perfect. He personalized it just enough, he was willing to make our ceremony anything we wanted. We had so ...
many compliments about our ceremony after our wedding and continue to hear nice things. He was very easy to work with and was willing to meet with me as many times as needed and answered many of my questions via email. I would recommend everyone to use Chris for their ceremony! You wont be disappointed! He will go above and beyond your expectations!
