About this vendor
About Us:
What started years ago with roasting pigs for family gatherings and special occasions has now grown into Word of Mouth BBQ, a family owned and operated BBQ and catering company serving Northeast Ohio.
Today, you can find our trailers at festivals and events across Ohio, serving customer favorites like our famous “Big Fat Pulled Pork Sandwich”, loaded baked potatoes, fall-off-the-bone ribs, brisket, and other delicious creations. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of catering countless weddings and special events. We enjoy working closely with every couple to create a menu that fits their vision and budget, while accommodating dietary needs so every guest can enjoy the celebration. Family has always been at the heart of what we do. Our children began helping us when they were 7 and 11 years old, and today they confidently manage their own crews at festivals and catered events. As a family owned and operated business, we take pride in treating every event, every meal, and every customer like part of our extended family.
Our commitment to quality food, friendly service, and hospitality is what keeps our customers coming back and sharing us by Word of Mouth.
Services Offered:
We are equipped to cater an event of up to 300 guests. Word of Mouth BBQ cooks on site for parties of 130 or more. We provide a custom menu to fit your budget and needs, as well as the buffet-style dinner. We can also provide hors d'oeuvres, place settings, and after dinner table clean up. Word of Mouth BBQ was exceptional and we had them for our wedding reception this September. We actually were at another wedding that they catered originally and the food was fantas...
tic so we decided to hire them for our reception. We worked with Cheryl the owner of the company from the beginning and she was so lovely to work with and talk to. She answered all of our questions, was so helpful and the communication was absolutely fantastic the entire time. For the amazing quality of food they provide they are in my opinion extremely affordable. Our guests could not stop complimenting us on how good the food was. Their team of workers were onsite cooking the food at our venue all day, then worked so hard all night long to take care of us. They were organized and really great at what they do from the setup to serving the over 200 guests and keeping that flow going well, restocking, making sure we had everything we needed, to clean up and packing up. They were all so nice and you could tell how hard they all worked during that day. Truly word of mouth, could not recommend them enough and hope we can continue to use them in the future again. We still cannot get over how consistent and delicious their food is every single time we have it and are so happy with chose them for our catering services.

Our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was! The chicken and pulled pork were both amazing — tender, flavorful, and perfectly ...
cooked. You could truly taste the love they put into their food.
The team at Word of Mouth BBQ was so easy to work with and incredibly flexible. They even had dinner ready earlier than planned without any stress or issues, which helped our day run so smoothly. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made us feel completely taken care of.
If you’re looking for delicious BBQ and a team that goes above and beyond, this is it. We’re so glad we chose Word of Mouth BBQ for our wedding — it was perfect from start to finish!

ouldn't wait to eat. We had 150 guests and not much left over if that tells you anything, they made tons of food and kept everything replenished and hot. Couldn't be happier with their service, and how affordable it was for the quality of food we got!
If you want BBQ, look no further! Give Word of Mouth a call. They have amazing food and exceptional service! We love BBQ, but also wanted a formal feeling for our wedding. This was...
a perfect mix of the two! Our food was served buffet style and ran very smooth. Food was on-time, hot, and cooked perfect. They brought their smoker truck to our event and cooked most of it right on sight. This created a certain atmosphere because our guests were starting to smell the delicious aroma of the food. This excited our guests before they even saw the food. We got the brisket and the smoked chicken. My husband was absolutely against getting anything on the bone, but after trying their chicken he immediately rescinded his comment. The chicken left this delightful, smokey taste in your mouth. The mac-n-cheese was also a favorite! It was smokey and cheesy - what more could you ask for??! We also got their coleslaw. I was highly impressed. The cabbage was chopped into small pieces and it completely changed the texture and taste; YUM! It has been over a month since our wedding and we still have people talking about how awesome our food was. Word of Mouth knocked it out of the park! I will be a return customer and will continue to keep recommending their food and service.
