About this vendor
Welcome to WWEP (Women With Event Planning), a dynamic team of three feisty female veterans who share a deep passion for arranging, coordinating, decorating, and enjoying fabulous festivities. With a friendship that spans over a decade, we have individually honed our event planning skills since the early 90s. However, it was eight years ago that we realized the remarkable synergy we had when working together on events, both big and small.
In January 2018, we decided to combine our talents and officially launch WWEP. Since then, we have been dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our clients. Our collective experience ranges from organizing corporate dinners to backyard pig roasts, in-home couples baby showers to grand venue weddings, and even participating in the prestigious Mat-Su Wedding and Special Events Expo.
At WWEP, we believe in recognizing the contributions of our military personnel, first responders/public servants, and teachers. That's why we offer exclusive discounts to these valuable members of our community. Additionally, we understand the importance of flexibility when it comes to budgeting. With a reasonable down payment requirement of just 20% and flexible payment options, we strive to make our services accessible to all.
When you choose WWEP, you're not just hiring an event planning company; you're gaining a dedicated team that genuinely cares about bringing your vision to life. y do. We planned our Alaska wedding from out of state so we needed extra help coordinating with the vendors and making sure nothing was forgotten and that the venue was up to par (without us being able to tour it). They did multiple site visits for us, and even went the extra mile to help my mom plan and decorate for our rehearsal dinner (that included everyone in the wedding :)
They did a spectacular job with our venue setup and decoration. All our guests complimented how beautiful and well put together everything was. We still get compliments today. :) Much of the credit goes to Tanya, Debbie, and Karen. There were also many small things they did for us that made a big difference like keeping us on time, getting us food and bringing it to our table (with a cool little bug net on it so flies don’t get to it), coordinating with the venue POC and DJ, making sure the cake was ready to go and seating chart visible, and taking care of set up and tear down without us even thinking about it! We literally arrived at our venue and hour before the ceremony and everything was almost ready to go.
The Women Warriors worked hard to make our day special and go smooth, and they far surpassed our expectations. Thank you!
Working with Tanya from Women Warriors was a joy.
She is warm, easy going and genuinely loves giving her clients the best possible experience.
I’d work with her again in a heart...

out of state. The WWEP team set up a group chat and met with us via video calls so we could coordinate and plan together. They responded promptly to questions and had problem-solving answers regarding concerns. They coordinated with the DJ, photographer and venue and they offered creative, realistic ideas that helped make our Wedding Weekend unique and problem free.
We had two days of big events. Tanya came to our home Saturday morning to help set up tables, chairs and decorate the hanger for our combined rehearsal dinner and welcome party. She guided us through the rehearsal then she picked up and delivered the food from the caterer. (Not sure that is always available but she offered and that allowed all the family and friends to stay and enjoy the party instead of having to go get the dinner!)
On Sunday, Wedding Day, WWEP was at the venue from 10:00 to 10:00 (maybe later!) decorating the gazebo and the reception area, helping to manage the flow of events, delivering bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres, helping the wedding party be where they needed to be, assisting with serving at the reception and helping with clean up.
The decorations and flowers were soooo beautiful. I even brought two buckets of peonies from my farm that morning and the flowers were added into the arrangements throughout the venue which added an additional special touch to an already beautiful, amazing and delightful day.
Thank you Tanya, Debby and Karen! My son and daughter-in-law’s Wedding Weekend could not have been more wonderful!!

different state. With that being said, they offered to have stuff sent to them which was so unbelievably helpful(not sure if this is always an offer or we just got lucky). Either way, we enjoyed this 1.5 years long of brainstorming with these sweet ladies.
These ladies are the most amazing humans we have ever come across. They went above and beyond to make sure that my vision came to life on my big day (with only 1.5 months of plann...
ing). They were with me every step of the way - not a single call went unanswered, not a single text went un-replied, every panic mode of mine were calmly diverted into feelings of joy - this is the effect these ladies had on us, which made our wedding so enjoyable and above all, extremely stress free. These ladies planned everything with the utmost attention to detail.
We had 3 different wedding events spanning 3 days across 3 different venues - a typical Nepali wedding. I cannot begin to express how carefully these ladies planned every single event with some some sleepless nights, for which we are so truly thankful. They watched endless videos of Nepali weddings on YouTube to learn our culture and traditions They made our wedding so special and so memorable not only for us but also for all our guests! They were amazing problem solvers, any issue that occurred, they already had a resolution that they pre planned for. They even created an amazing but laborious flower canopy (phoolon ka chaddar) from scratch for bridal entrance a few days before the wedding only because I mentioned how nice it would be to have one. We just cannot thank these ladies enough.
My husband and I are still in awe of all these amazing ladies. Tanya has an amazingly calming voice - there were super stressful days that I had as a bride, and I would call her, and all that stress would just melt away.
I highly highly recommend Women Warriors Event Planning - these ladies are just super amazing and will make your big day, no matter what it may be, super special!
WWEP were nothing short of amazing for our wedding at the gathering place this July. I was finishing up nursing school and gave Tanya and Debbie free reign on most everything. The ...
decorations were 100X better than I ever could have hoped for. Not only was I able to go the weekend stress free, but our families were too because these ladies worked so hard to make our space BEAUTIFUL. I firmly believe going with them was the best decision I made regarding our wedding. They were so thorough, prepared, and so kind throughout the entire process. Cannot thank nor recommend these ladies enough for anybody thinking they may need help with their wedding. It was worth every penny.

sset and I have no doubt that our wedding would have not turned out the way it did without their involvement. I would totally recommend them and have no doubt you'll be in good hands.
P.S. if you get the goodie package for their decorations, the "Autumn" arbor is stunning in person.

ferent restrictions, we really wanted to give up with trying to make our wedding vision come to life. I absolutely did not want to post pone our wedding if it was possible and these women persevered with us! With communication, all the work they put in and beyond. They made our wedding vision come true, even if we were only allowed 10 guests from our originally planned 75+. On top of it, we could not have a reception room because of restrictions so they took our honeymoon suite at our hotel and transformed it into a mini version of what our reception would have looked like. It was beyond beautiful and brought tears to my eyes when I walked in with my newly wedded Hubby and guests! Our ceremony was “last minute” changed to an outdoor ceremony in the middle of winter and they brought their creative minds, decor and brought my vision to life. I cannot thank them enough for truly making such an unforgettable day for us. It was perfect, and honestly, I’m happy that we had the restrictions in place to be able to experience what they were able to do. I cannot express our gratitude enough for these ladies and how accommodating they were and putting us first and listening to all my worries, concerns, ideas and letting them run with it and just truly creating a beautiful wedding. You cannot go wrong with them!
These ladies are amazing! We had to make a lot of major changes to our plans and they were nothing but supportive and helpful. They are clearly in it for the fun and prioritize the...

We would highly recommend the wonderful Women Warriors for any event.
Beautiful and classy decorating for our wedding.
These ladies are the best ever! Caring, diligent, creative, and won’t stop until everyone and everything is perfect! Highly recommend!!!!
We found WWEP at a local wedding expo. Not only did I love that it’s an entire TEAM of wonderful ladies (three in total) ready, willing and capable of planning your perfect day but...
each of these gals brings their own area of passion and expertise to the table. Not bothered a bit by my “new bride” over zealousness at the beginning of the process they kept in touch throughout the following months making sure I was checking things off their list keeping me on track without feeling overwhelmed. I also LOVE that his crew comes with a TON of their own decor!! No extra rental charges or ending up with a bunch of decorations you will probably never use again. There are so many extras offered and at an incredible price. Unfortunately I had to cancel my wedding due to COVID-19 so I was unable to experience our combined vision for my wedding day but I have no doubt it would have been flawless. Bonus: they were unbelievably understanding about the cancellation and I was shocked at the size of my refund!! Looking forward to working with these ladies for future events.
My husband and I booked WWEP last minute. With just 2 weeks to plan, they surpassed my expectations! Tanya & Debbie were like fairy godmothers the whole way through. They were acc...
ommodating, attentive, very informative and made certain that everything was going smoothly. Besides how affordable their unmatched services were, what I love the most is they responded to all my questions and messages right away. I simply gave them my vision and they executed. I couldn’t ask for better guidance and support. Thank you WWEP for making my dream come true 💜!!
To those who read this, I will confess that I was a mini-groom-zilla. I did my best to see things going the way I thought would be best for all, and it got to a point where it just...
wasn't sustainable without help. Luckily my wife knew of WWEP, we couldn't have had finer support. As any savvy wedding planning groom - I was forever seeking ways to cut cost without impeding the ceremony and fun, but it got too be too much and Karen was really helpful taking the reins over on different tasks. And despite my initial frugality, as the days became so much closer I remember even like getting baskets at value village and Karen just kind of paused and reminded of all the things WWEP can do. Tanya even helped with fun ideas for our bartender to try with non-alcoholic drink mixtures. It went deeper than mental fatigue compassion, they truly come off very genuine. It's almost like having family and friends help but without the taboo stigma of asking friends and family for too much assistance.
Day of Karen was on top of everything, but I just didn't notice everything because the wedding party often is busy with how the day is flowing. Our guests really enjoyed the event and Crow Creek Mine can be a tough venue to problem solve on things but we weren't asked a thing. Day of we met Debbie and she was incredible. She was everywhere! Her presence was of comfort and peace. She steadied our energies and offered copious amounts of ideas and support. She helped my bride and I in so many ways. My wife and I were so touched.
WWEP's nature and ethos is the right balance for any seeking their wedding but understanding we need a little help from more than just our natural friends and family. Nothing can be fully known but they were just right for us and I believe you will be thankful also.
What I really loved about The Women Warriors was how adaptable they were. My family had already planned a lot of the wedding details, but had run into a few road blocks. Karen, Tan...
ya, and Debbie were able to pick up where we left off without any issues. We were not forced to change previous arrangements, they didn't alter our vision, they just listened to our wants and wishes and helped guide us through the rest of the process. I especially enjoyed that we were given an opportunity to customize the amount and kind of service that we wanted, rather than settling for a predetermined 'package'. When it came to the actual day of the wedding, the ladies went above and beyond with the decorations, the directing, and assisting with photography. it all went better than I could have hoped for! My family and I are thoroughly pleased with the service and are forever grateful for their care of our wedding!!!
We have worked with the WWEP team numerous times and they are the BEST!! They are a very talented group of women and know how to put weddings together. Very organized and their com...

ect day, and it wouldn’t have happened without these wonderful ladies. These ladies are so talented. They have an eye for detail, and it really makes all the difference. From chair bows to hanging chandeliers and extra hair pins to making sure your picture perfect; nothing is out of their wheel house! They kept me on track every step of the way, and made my wedding experience as stress free as possible! As far as wedding planning goes, WWEP is the only way to go!
I had the pleasure of working as a vendor at one of their events in Palmer. They are fun, creative, easy to work with, detail oriented and always with a smile on their faces. I’m l...

d helpful. Not only are they wonderful in taking my theme and creating something beautiful (I am not creative), they are more than just wedding planners. They have listened to my worries and stress and we’ve had follow up calls, texts, etc (planning from Fairbanks). They are my right hand girls so far for everything and know the right things to say and right things to do. They go above and beyond and they are not in it for the business side but to truly help you create a beautiful and memorable day with your loved ones!
I've had the pleasure of working with these ladies on several events both together as a team and also separately as vendors in the same venue or event. They are hands down the most...
creative, organized and hard working group of women ever! So easy to communicate with and bump ideas off of. Can't recommend enough!!
Tanya, Debbie and Karen were AMAZING while helping us to plan our wedding! I gave them a rough idea of what I wanted and they ran with it to create a beautiful day for us. They are...
really easy to talk to and truly care about their clients. If we ever have another event that requires more creativity and planning than I can handle on my own, they will be my first call! Thank you ladies for making it my best day ever!! ❤️❤️❤️
WWEP was a lifesaver for our wedding! Originally while planning, I thought I could handle everything on my own, but I quickly learned how many tedious details went in to not only p...
lanning the wedding, but also setting up and taking down the wedding. I knew that after all the help my mom was giving me, I did not want to make her work on the day as well, so WWEP was a great choice for me! Not only did they help me with the small details that gave my wedding that special touch, they also helped with "behind the scenes" tasks during the big day (taking down the ceremony and setting up the reception, pouring champagne for the toasts, keeping the buffet stocked, etc). Did I mention that this was all at an unbeatable price and that they support military families as military veterans themselves? I cannot express how thankful I am for the stress they took off of my family and I during my special day!
