About this vendor
The objective of any ceremony is to legally bind two individuals so at the end of the day they can say to the world "this is my spouse!" I ensure the legality of your commitment but also I want to know what you are passionate about so that that energy can be incorporated into your ceremony. I encourage couples to actively engage with me to set the tone of their ceremony – formal or informal, spiritual or secular, serious or playful.

ceremony. She also went above and beyond day of our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. She was phenomenal and can't recommend her more!

eora to finalize the script, she did an amazing job personalizing the ceremony and easily accommodated our requests. During the ceremony, Leora spoke with an authenticity that resonated with our family. Leora was also extremely helpful in getting our marriage certificate from the District of Columbia. She made sure we submitted our request on time and submitted the final certificate to the local government. I cannot recommend Leora enough as a wedding officiant!
We really appreciated how Leora took the time to get to know us before the event, having a couple of conversations with us and tailoring her script to authentically tell our story....
She not only added some anecdotes about ourselves and our relationship specifically, but also pulled in some great quotes from poetry and literature that brought everything together. I also appreciated that she specifically coordinated her dress with our wedding colours. She was very professional and led an incredibly moving ceremony.
Leora officiated our wedding on March 29, 2021. As with all weddings, some things went wrong that day, but what was perfect was Leora’s handling of our ceremony. We liked her from ...
our first discussion, and she made us comfortable from the start – which is important considering we wouldn’t meet her until our wedding day. She was the only officiant we spoke with – we knew she was the one!
Leora made the ceremony script process easy. She accommodated all of our requests and went out of her way to make us feel at ease. Her command of the schedule, impeccable timing, sense of humor, and overall love for her role as our officiant kept us calm and relaxed on an excitable day. It was a clear, cold, and windy day, but Leora’s warmness made all the difference.
We could go on and on about what a wonderful person Leora is, but anyone who speaks with her will quickly figure that out. We consider ourselves fortunate for having found Leora.

onsive to our questions and suggestions and provided an excellent first draft. She was calm, efficient, and sent us reminders to keep us on track in the process. Most importantly, she listened to our needs. During our wedding, she was friendly to our guests and my mother even mentioned how much she enjoyed speaking with her. We highly recommend Leora and wish her all the best!

the entire process. From our initial contact, she answered all of our questions. She was tolerant of the fact that we were a same sex couple. On the day of our wedding we were running late, but she didn’t fuss with us. She made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. I’m very pleased that we chose her to share our day with us, and should we ever renew our vows, we wouldn’t hesitate to call her again.

from our guests, Leora was able to arrange the crowd, place us at the front, and start a beautiful ceremony. All without the slightest misstep. Our ceremony was simple and sweet and tailored to us as a couple. Afterwards, we had several of our guests rave about how lovely the ceremony and Loera's words were. Even months afterwards we still have people mention Leora. I highly recommend her, especially if you want something sweet and memorable and tailored to your story.
