We hired Wishing Well Florist to do all of the flowers for our wedding. Dorothy was absolutely amazing to work with. From the beginning I told Dorothy that I didn't know anything a...
bout flowers. She patiently worked with me every step of the way, explaining the flowers, making suggestions and creating a vision. She educated me on the different flowers typically in a wedding, from personal flowers, to ceremony flowers, and finally reception flowers. I am so thankful for her recommendations as they made the event so much more special and they were things I never even thought of! I knew what I wanted the atmosphere to feel like, but didn't know how to achieve it. Dorothy created a sample mock up of one of the center pieces in the venue space to help me visualize what the room would feel like. After a few in person meetings and telephone meetings we created a scheme for the wedding that I felt really excited about. On the day of our wedding everything was gorgeous and every better than I ever could have imagined. Thank you again Wishing Well Florist for helping create my dream wedding!
Heidi was AMAZING to work with! Flowers were one of the details I was very unsure about. I don't know much about flower types and went into the first meeting with some colors and i...
nspiration pictures but not much else. A few months later I met with Heidi again and she brought a sample arrangement with the colors and some of the flower types she'd use for our wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous! I left that meeting and mentally checked flowers off my list of things to worry about. I felt completely comfortable leaving flower decisions up to Heidi.
On the wedding day, my husband and I were absolutely blown away with how gorgeous the flowers were and even how many arrangements there were. The flowers completely transformed the space and we received SO many complements on them. I highly recommend working with Heidi!!
We worked with Dorothy for our flowers and decor at our wedding this past weekend. The way that Dorothy transformed our venue was amazing. We were truly blown away by the work that...
she did and the final result far exceeded our expectations. I had purchased all of our vases, candle holders, and candles separately. Dorothy and her assistant worked with our materials and made something magical. When we started all of our wedding planning, we did not even want to hire a florist. It is a good thing we did because her work was one of the best parts of our wedding and everything was pretty good so that is saying a lot! Thank you Dorothy!
I worked with Heidi at Wishing Well Florist and don’t have a single negative thing to say about her. Prior to our meeting she had me fill out a pretty in-depth survey and then when...
we met she went over TONS of options and really catered it to what I had said I was looking for in the survey. She was very willing to work within my budget and gave me a few different price options.
A few months after putting down our deposit she emailed to let me know that she was expecting and would be due right around my wedding date. She wanted to make sure I was aware of this and if I was uncomfortable at all was willing to refund my deposit. However, she was also willing to have me meet her business partner when I came to see my samples. This worked out great. I was able to meet her partner and at least get a feel for her as well, especially since she is the one who ended up delivering my flowers.
Heidi was also very flexible and when we had to make a few changes to our order she was more than willing to move things around for us.
The flowers looked wonderful, exactly what I had been expecting and they were delivered on time. I couldn’t ask for more from a florist.
I loved working with Wishing Well Florist for my wedding flowers. Dorothy was so attentive and accommodating for my VERY large wedding and helped me develop my ideas by providing a...
lot of knowledge and insight when it came to a topic that I knew nothing about--flowers!
She knows what looks good and she absolutely nails it. Everything from the flower girl flower head wreaths to my statement centerpieces to my card table branch and crystal arrangement was breathtaking.
The only reason I paid more than $4,000 was because I had 30 people in my bridal party and 28 tables at my reception. It was a good investment on my part, but I'm confident Wishing Well could work with any budget.
Heidi was the best! As soon as I met her during our consultation, I knew she was going to do a great job. She is very experienced and seriously knows her stuff! She even set up ...
time with my venue a month prior to the wedding to show me samples of the centerpieces so I could make sure they were exactly what I wanted. The day-of she was on time, professional and organized. She knew how to work with my budget and made suggestions so we could save in ways we didn't think about before! At the end of the day, the flowers were beautiful and everything I could have wanted! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
My experience with working with Heidi was perfect. She emailed to me ideas of flowers, I Googled the ones I didn't know and was ready with ideas when we met. She did the rest to m...
ake it easy and worry free. They are small business owner, I'm was glad to use their service.
Heidi and The Wishing Well Florist did an amazing job with all the bouquets, boutineers, church decor, table floral arrangements, etc. for my wedding. I chose to meet with Heidi af...
ter she was the only florist that responded to my email about my small budget for flowers. I was taken aback with how many florists just didn't feel the need to respond but Heidi was extremely accomodating and did an amazing job with my smaller budget. Heidi is extremely personable and professional. After our first meeting, I felt very confident in her ability to provide what I was looking for. She really spent a lot of time working with me to ensure she could provide what I wanted and constantly followed up with me via email about budget and flower options. I had a great time working with her. It was actually really fun! When I arrived at the church and saw my bouquet, I was very pleased. Everything came out just beautiful! I would definitely recommend The Wishing Well florist if you're looking for a company that actually cares about what you want and making you happy. Wedding planning can be a great experience if you find the right vendors, and the Wishing Well Florist made it stress free and enjoyable for me!

deas! Heidi was also super helpful with other aspects of our wedding before we had even signed a contract with her. We loved everything and I would definitely recommend The Wishing Well.
The flowers were not the part of the wedding that originally cared about and definitely didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on them. We had a small wedding party and were only d...
oing flowers on 8 tables at our reception. About 6 weeks before the wedding, I freaked out and thought I had perhaps been to casual about this topic, and Dorothy at Wishing well was fabulous. She even took me to the wholesaler to see the colors so that I could feel confident in my choices as the wedding took shape.
The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and they looked beautiful for well over a week. They were on time with the delivery and helpful with getting people their flowers. They even brought an extra one for the groom in case he ruined his for some reason.
Even though we only had a few centerpieces and didn't actually order cake flowers, they used extra flowers and decorated our cake table and the cake. They were great and easy to deal with.
I would definitely recommend them and btw, they did travel all the way from the city to St. Charles for our wedding. Our cost was right about $1050.
Our florist was so helpful and willing to try different ideas. Our flowers were unbelievable!
