Molly and Emily were excellent during the planning process and the bartenders during the night were amazing! The three stars is for after the fact. The lack of humility and profe...

ssionalism from management is astounding. I sent an email noting things that weren’t huge issues, but thought Windows should know to better their processes in the future. Instead of acknowledging mistakes and work to understand frustrations, they chose to blame my guests and get defensive in emails. Things I wish I had known: - if anything is left - including an expensive champagne flute the groom used- that are noted to the party “captain” at the end of the night, don’t expect to get them back. - keep an eye on your dessert, they WONT automatically replenish it like they state during the planning process.

WOW was a perfect choice for our day! I loved how I was able to have the ceremony and reception all in one space in such a fun atmosphere. The venue has so many amazing spots to ta...

ke some great photos. Our wedding was on a Saturday, and with no event the night before, we were able to set up some of our own decorations the day before, which was an amazing relief! Emily was extremely responsive and answered any and all of our questions, which was so helpful when I did not feel like I knew what I was doing when planning a wedding! We really enjoyed their package options that allowed you to choose food, decorations, and bar options. Their packages are a great deal, but purchasing items (decorations, food, etc.) "a la carte" quickly adds up, and it felt as if some information was not clearly communicated until the end, notably in terms of the hors d'oeuvres - the proposals always included the estimated guest count and listed numbers of items that were guest-count dependent. It was not until our final proposal that we saw that our hors d'oeuvres were one per person. Thankfully, this was enough food, but it was a bit disappointing to feel slightly blindsided. If we would have known to ask, I have no doubt the information would have been shared with us. But with other items in the proposal listing out the number of each item, this one felt "hidden." It also was disappointing there was no fridge to put our cake in as WOW cannot store any outside food in their fridges. We only had a small one-tier cake, so we were able to keep it in cooler bags until it was time for the WOW staff to cut, but that was a bit cumbersome to manage on the day of the wedding. WOW held a Decor Show that had decorations on display and had food and drinks available for tasting. You then have the option to get these items at a reduced price. It's still a bit pricey in my opinion, but I also didn't have other points of comparison for the industry. There is not a bridal suite, which is one thing I did wish I had. There is an option to purchase some curtains to set up a makeshift area in the corner, but no private space. The staff was INCREDIBLE and so accommodating. Definitely wouldn't have changed a thing about our day, but I would have liked to know some of things up front. WOW was one of the best choices we made for our day!

From the beginning, working with anyone at WOW has been absolutely amazing. We booked our wedding with them 2 years ago and it's been clear and professional communication from the ...

beginning. Emily always took the time to answer any questions we had big or small, and to make sure any information we needed was given to us right away. Upon wedding week, we worked with different staff members since Emily was out of town and they were all fantastic to work with. Tom made sure pieces of decor that were missing from our floor on set up day were put there right away and answered any last minute questions we had as the big day approached. Finally, Mike on wedding day made sure to be there for any and everything we needed. At one point some drama happened and I ended up on the balcony in tears and he brought out a napkin and water for me and told me to get back on that dance floor and enjoy my night. All I can say is work with WOW. They were professional, polite, fun, and helped make the wedding of our dreams happen within our budget.

We had our wedding at W.O.W. last weekend with a guest count just shy of 200. The venue allowed for plenty of space to accommodate our guest count and we had a huge dance floor. Ev...

eryone loved the indoor/outdoor space, as well as the location/downtown feel. It was really beautiful. The food was ok. Our specialty dish (Lomo Saltado) was better than their usual offered dishes. My husband and I's meal was lukewarm but others had hot food. The chicken was dry/overcooked, but otherwise everything was good. Emily was the BEST when it came to wedding planning. She was easy to work with, prompt at responding and extremely professional. I found her easy to work with and really enjoyed her guidance throughout the planning process.

I highly recommend working with Windows on Washington. Emily was phenomenal and made the process easy and seamless. Additionally, the space is gorgeous and so naturally beautiful. ...

As weddings seem to be getting more and more expensive, this venue was a breath of fresh air - it was affordable and beautiful, but it didn't consume our entire budget. The 8th floor has the most gorgeous vautled ceilings, too!

This event space is absolutely gorgeous. It doesn’t need much decorating because of the open brick, windows, and amazing bar. They have many different packages to accommodate your ...

budget, your vision, and can provide nearly everything you could need. We are very happy with our choice to use WOW and would recommend to other couples as well.

My husband and I had our wedding on December 30th, 2022. Windows on Washington made our wedding absolutely perfect! We had about 275 people and everything went off without a hitch....

The staff was great, our planner, Emily, was super helpful in every aspect, and we have been receiving compliments on the delicious food and beautiful venue ever since. The elegant yet simple decor or the 7th floor was exactly what I pictured and I am so thankful we chose this venue!

t wedding reception. As an out of state couple there was no challenge creating are dream space as Emily [event coordinator] was fantastic to work with and very accommodating with scheduling! Food including the late night snack and serving staff were amazing as we have received so many compliments on those details! We highly recommend this venue for so many reasons but most importantly this space brought to life our dream celebration that will forever hold a special place in our hearts - you will never regret this decision as we simply could not have been happier with every aspect of our experience and know you will too!

Buyer beware. The venue is very nice and the event coordinator Emily was very nice, helpful and organized. However they do not honor the contract they make you sign. Apparently it ...

is only a one way contract. The wording of the contract did allow for them to raise the per plate price. Which they did by 7.5%. But the contract clearly stated the service charge was to be 20% and there was no wording that this price could possibly change. But they went ahead and raised that to 22% anyway. And watch the bartenders. We had Michelob Ultra on draft and we also picked Michelob Ultra to be our one bottled beer that we got in our package. The bartenders would continuously give people draft Ultra when they specifically asked for bottled Ultra. Guessing that pushing the draft Ultra over the bottled Ultra was to WOWs favor monetarily.

We chose Windows on Washington for our wedding due to the central location in downtown STL, one-stop-shop event packages, and gorgeous loft aesthetic that doesn't really need much ...

décor. We also used preferred vendors for cake/flowers/DJ, and everything went SO smoothly. We were able to fully enjoy the day without worrying about logistics because we knew that the Windows and vendor team had things totally under control and ready for us. The food, drinks, and staff for our wedding were excellent! Our guests had a fabulous time and were very complimentary of the venue and dinner. Our event coordinator Emily was a pleasure to work with and followed up with us on a regular basis to keep everyone in the loop. We are so happy we chose Windows on Washington and would highly recommend to any couple looking for a (nearly) stress-free wedding experience!

We are so glad that we went with Windows on Washington for our ceremony and reception. Most of our guests were from out of state, so we wanted to keep things simple with a one stop...

shop, and Windows was the perfect place for that. We still receive compliments on how beautiful the venue is and how great the food was. As a bride, I loved that so much was included in our package. All of our food, drinks, and a large part of our decorations were included in what we paid for. It was also so nice that everything was set up and ready to go, so when we came in to add my personal touches, it took no time at all. We worked with Emily the whole time, and she was super helpful and was great at responding to emails and questions quickly. We were able to attend a decor event and receive discounts on some decor to add to our big day, and we had tastings and final detail meetings right there at the venue. It made for a very easy planning process so I felt no need to hire a wedding planner. The wait staff and bartenders were very friendly and professional and made sure my guests had what they needed. The venue even includes a complimentary shuttle to downtown hotels after the wedding so out of town guests didn't even have to drive. This is a great venue to go with if you want beautiful views of downtown, an all-inclusive venue, a great staff to work with, and a stress-free wedding planning experience!

For years I said "when I get married I want to have my reception at Windows On Washington!" Luckily my husband had the same thoughts in mind. The venue is a no brainer and matched ...

our 1920s Modern Harlem Renaissance theme perfectly, the moment you walk in you're just in awe. The packages are all inclusive, includes a champagne greeting, a parking lot and shuttle for guests. Every chance we got to view our floor we did. Our guests fell in love with the space as well, the food, open bar, and the service was amazing!!! Our wedding reception was magical. Special shout out to Emily who answered every question we had and made the process as seamless as possible :-) We are already saying for our 10 year we'll be back !!

can rent (park high makes it easy) and in different styles— we chose the gold & white decor that looked beautiful with our pink and black wedding party attire and other venue accessories. It was all absolutely perfect - glam and classy - exactly what we were going for. The views of STL city in the background and the arch were a perfect backdrop in our reception photos. The exposed brick and floor to ceiling windows added that STL city vibe. We had our wedding in the 7th floor. The open bar and lovely served dinner was perfect at this venue! We and Our guests loved both of the balconies as well -perfect photo spot with the city backdrop. We are so happy we chose this as our wedding venue. Everyone is so helpful there- Emily was always accommodating with all of our questions and was always responsive and easy to work with. We loved our wedding day!

Windows on Washington was the perfect place for us to have our wedding reception. Its class and simple aesthetic made for the perfect night. Its location in downtown STL is so fun ...

and made it easy for guests to explore the city after (especially with shuttles to nearby hotels for free). The complimentary champagne when guests enter is a fun touch. The packages they offer are super convenient and helpful for any planner and made it easy to plan a wedding. I didn't have a wedding planner so using WOW was ideal and I would use it again if I could! Couldn't recommend this place more.

Windows on Washington was not only the perfect venue for our wedding, but also one of the dreamiest places ever that left our guests literally WOW'ed. They came up to us all night ...

raving about the space. I'll never forget how the string lights sparkled above the dance floor or how the exposed brick and long, stunning bar looked. Windows is classic, elegant, romantic, and I could not have imagine a more perfect backdrop for our December wedding. Emily worked with us from booking our wedding 2 years out all the way until the big day. She was always there to answer our questions and offer suggestions for other vendors we may have needed along the way. Thank you for everything, Emily and WOW Team!

We also attended one of their decor shows, which I highly recommend - it was so fun, provided great inspiration, and we got some discounts from it! d be dealing with a pandemic. My husband was away for Army training, and I was anxiously communicating with him about our upcoming event. Ultimately, we decided to downsize and held a micro-wedding and dinner in 2020 then a one-year anniversary reception in 2021. Emily Walworth, our event coordinator, was there every step of the way! She helped us choose the way forward that was right for us and quickly helped adapt our event accordingly. Our wedding day was intimate and beautiful. Our reception was a blast. WOW is such a great venue and have super competitive pricing. Our event captain, Tom, was amazing too. After having him for our wedding, we requested him for the anniversary reception. He was kind and intuitive, and I highly recommend requesting him.

Wedding date: September 2020 (Covid-19 wedding) Guest count: 60-70 What we cared most about for our reception: Great photos & an open bar. What we loved about WOW: -They take care...

of ALL the details for your reception:--food, bevs, linens, tableware, venue decorations, table décor, table numbers--EVERYTHING! Their selection for colors / themes is great. Neither my husband nor I prioritized these details, so skipping the a-la-carte shop & rent process was AWESOME. (If you have a very particular vision in mind for your décor, keep that in mind). -Location!: WOW is located in a great spot, is close to so many hotels, and has their late-night shuttle. -Customer service: We worked with Emily, who was 1) incredibly prompt in answering emails & helping us plan; 2) very transparent about pricing / feasibility 3) awesome at helping us make decisions and guiding us through some parts of the process. -WOW Factor: The building and its décor are fabulous. The ONLY "ehh" factor for us has to do with the fact that we held our wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we didn't feel that WOW was 100% committed to guest safety; while they mandated masks in the lobby, elevator, and non-reception parts of the venue, and while their staff were all masked, they didn't mandate that guests wear masks while dancing / congregating. Okay. That's fine. There are probably a lot of bridezillas who would push back against that. The thing that got me is that our ceremony venue asked for a list of guests names & phone numbers to have a proactive contact-tracing list available, which was zero hassle for us and a great move. WOW, on the other hand, seemed unfamiliar with the contact tracing process or the need to conduct contact tracing in the event that our reception caused COVID spread. When we asked our coordinator if we'd be notified if the staff at our event had tested positive after-the-fact, she responded along the lines of, "Umm, no, not really, if you got sick at a restaurant, would you call the restaurant and tell them?" If "got sick" is Covid and it ocurred in 2020, then, yes, I definitely would! The caveat to this point is that (hopefully) Covid-19 will not be thwarting safe social gatherings forever, so this comment is somewhat dated.

Horrible horrible horrible and completely horrible. What a waste of money.
