"All the twinkling lights amongst the forest trees and celebrating with family and friends... it was wonderful," one couple wrote after their wedding at Willow Woods Park. We're a forest venue for small weddings in Skyforest, five minutes from Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains. At 5,741 feet, the ceremony site sits under old-growth pines, beside log cabins that have stood on the property since the 1920s. Many venues around Lake Arrowhead are built for 150 guests or more. Our weddings run from 30 to 80 guests, the park holds 100 at most, and the whole day happens within a short walk: vows at the ceremony arch in front of the waterfall, dinner at tables under string lights, and dancing beside them. If you are planning for fewer than 30, ask. We make exceptions. Loggers built the cabins here in the 1920s, and the property later ran as Skyforest Resort. The cabins and trees from those years are the originals. Two of the cabins now serve as dressing rooms for you and your wedding party. Dinner comes from across the path. For nearly two decades one family has operated both the park and LouEddie's Pizza, the restaurant on the property, and the pizza comes up in review after review. Choose the Premium package and LouEddie's serves dinner from either their pizza menu or a buffet of two hand-carved proteins with three sides. Choose Traditional and you handle the catering: hire LouEddie's, or bring in an outside caterer cleared with us ahead of time. LouEddie's cooks for vegan and gluten-free guests, too. Each package is one price per guest. It covers your time at the park (five hours on Traditional, six on Premium), set-up and breakdown, tables, chairs and linens, service staff, cake cutting and day-of coordination. Premium also adds a one-hour rehearsal. Your venue bill is the per-guest price and sales tax, with no site fee or service charge added. Katie, our lead coordinator, works through the timeline and floor plan with you and keeps in touch with your vendors. On the day, she runs the schedule so you don't have to. Bring your own photographer, florist and DJ, or ask for our recommended vendor list. We host weddings all year. May through October brings the warmest evenings, and those weekends book first. Rehearsal dinners are welcome here, even when the wedding itself is somewhere else. Bridal showers, engagement parties, milestone birthdays and anniversaries happen here too. Good to know: we serve beer and wine only. We turn the music off at 9 pm so your guests get home safe, and anyone still celebrating can head to Lake Arrowhead Village. There are no overnight stays at the park, so you and your guests book rooms in Lake Arrowhead. All couples are welcome here, and so are dogs. See the park in person first.
