This venue is beautiful. We used Lakeside East and had our ceremony outside. Alana was great to work with and answered all of our questions and gave us good advice in a timely mann...
er throughout the months prior to our wedding. The food was absolutely fantastic, our guests were thrilled. The staff was very helpful during the dinner, and even fetched my plate for me (the bride) when I was overwhelmed. I would recommend this venue. My only issue was that they cleaned up afterwards (they require that their staff clean up) and either lost or threw away some personalized table place cards and signs that I had wanted to keep. I am a bit disappointed about that, therefore took one star off, but everything else was phenomenal. If you use this venue--just emphasize anything that they need to be careful to pack up for you to take back with you! Other than that, they would have 5 stars for sure!
We had a fantastic and beautiful wedding at Williams on the Lake! We got married in Lakeside East. We worked with Aly and Stephanie, who were really great and made the day go very ...
smoothly. Everyone said the food was really good, a lot better than most weddings they’ve been to. This was my second wedding there (first was as a guest), the first one was so beautiful and was just perfect from a guest’s perspective as well. We highly recommend this venue!
Cannot express enough gratitude and praise for Alana and Williams on the Lake. This venue had the cutest charm (especially at Christmas), the food was excellent, the event staff wa...
s unmatched (even our guests were complimenting them throughout the night), and they allowed us to bring our full vision to life with our own decor, but they placed it and arranged it all for us in a way that was better than we ever could have pictured. All of the stress of planning a wedding was completely removed and the night was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing if I had to go back and do it all again.
We had a wonderful experience with Williams on the Lake from start to finish! We held our reception at the Lakeside East site. Our coordinator Aly was exceptional to work with, she...
was professional, quick to respond to questions, and very personable. She took our requests but also gave helpful suggestions during the planning process. One unique thing about Williams is that they hold a showcase event where you can taste food from their menu and meet with vendors they recommend all in one spot. It was very helpful to go to the showcase to see how the venue is staged for a wedding plus try all the delicious food! On the wedding day, we received many compliments from our guests about how nice and attentive the servers were and how great the food tasted. We could not recommend Williams on the Lake enough! Our wedding day went exactly to plan and much of it is thanks to the top-notch coordination of the Williams team.

I have the special memories of getting ready with my girls at the venue. My husband and I joke that we should get divorced so we can have another wedding. Thank you Alana for helping make our day wonderful!

ews were great, staff super friendly & helpful, and everyone had an incredible time. The time and attention given to set up the room was so greatly appreciated and really lent to the overall memorable experience we received. I have to give major kudos to Williams on the Lake for having such a great employee staff especially Alana. She helped out immensely to ensure everything went as perfect as we had dreamed. She was always there to lend a hand, to answer our questions, to make us feel assured, and most importantly to make us feel comfortable, all the while with a beautiful smile on her face. Alana definitely has a gift in what she does. She is a huge asset to Williams on the Lake and we hope that they continue to provide the incredible memories that we experienced. Without a doubt, we recommend Williams on the Lake for their outstanding customer service, and friendly / professional atmosphere. Keep up the great work!

ests for the ceremony and during the reception. The inside of the facility is pretty as well. Aly was a great help throughout the entire process, especially considering the uncertainty of the past year. She was responsive and willing to meet as needed in the office for additional questions or concerns that needed to be addressed. On the wedding day, she helped ensure the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception flowed smoothly. The food was great and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend!

t! That right there shows that they really care! Our wedding was beautiful and they set up everything exactly as we imagined it! It came together beautifully! Aly was wonderful! She was there to make sure everything ran smoothly and exactly how we planned. Doing it all while wearing pink glasses to match our wedding colors! Loved it!! Such a beautiful venue, great food, and excellent staff! Even the clean up was amazing! I just went up to change my dress, and when I came back down everything was packed up for me! I literally just had to worry about my hair, makeup, and getting dressed!! They did everything else!! My guests kept asking me where did I find this place?! I told them it’s a hidden gem in Medina, and more people need to know about how wonderful they are! Thank you again Aly and her amazing crew!! If you are looking for a place that has everything, look no further!

of the staff, all our needs exceeded expectations. We had a beautiful ceremony out on the courtyard followed by an extraordinary reception in Lakeside South. The food, service and décor were fantastic. We highly recommend Williams on the Lake! Thank you, Aly and Mark!
Like a lot of COVID wedding couples, we had to postpone our big wedding celebration from April 2020 to April 2021 — and Williams on the Lake could not have been more helpful or sup...
portive throughout the rescheduling process. Not only that, but the service they provided the day of for both our ceremony and reception was above and beyond. Aly (the owner and our wedding coordinator) was a rockstar at keeping everything moving smoothly behind the scenes throughout the day. I cannot even begin to tell you how many compliments we got on the food — especially the meat carving station. It was delicious. And the lakeside view (which was what sold us on the venue in the first place) and flowering landscape looks just stunning in our pictures and videos from the day. And the various servers and staff were so polite — I think every one of them I interacted with throughout the night extended their congratulations and well wishes and went out of their way to be helpful. Cannot recommend Williams on the Lake highly enough!

emic. She was very fun and an absolute pleasure to work with. The food was incredible and having the whole building to just us was perfect. We were able to decorate the exact way we wanted to as we had our Halloween themed wedding there. The grounds were beautiful for our pictures and very well kept. Our guests and us were extremely pleased with the entire experience. Can not thank Aly enough!

ely for a tour of the venue. We had both our ceremony and reception there. Alana was our coordinator and she was a tremendous help to us- we rescheduled almost our entire wedding within a week because of her help. Contacting them was very easy and we got quick responses on all of our questions. The venue itself has beautiful views with the Lake and ceremony spaces. Food was absolutely fantastic- we even got to take home some left overs. There is a private room and bathroom for the bride and bridal party to get ready in. Alana kept everything on time on our wedding day. I wish we could go back and live that day over and over again.
Our expectations were exceeded over and over again from start to finish with our wedding. Aly and her staff were phenomenal and on top of everything. We had so many comments on the...
food and how well everything was put together. I will recommend them for events and even just dinner on the patio a thousand times over.
Williams On the lake was the perfect location for us to have a small ceremony. Due to COVID-19 we were only able to have a small intimate ceremony. Aly Williams helped us plan the ...
entire thing in two weeks. As the bride I did not have to worry about a thing. They were so flexible and accommodating. The ceremony took place at the moon gate which is BREATHTAKING !!! This was a dream location and I whole recommend this to any bride. They truly made the day so easy. Aly helped us with the ceremony and rehearsal as well, she is a pro!! We love this family, they truly bring the he family feel to any event.

hat. The food was amazing, as was the service, cleanliness and quality of everything. The views are phenomenal. Also the remodeled some of there rooms like the bridal suite. Such a great venue and we are so happy we decided on William's on the Lake.
Ally made sure everything was perfect!
From the moment I walked in the door, I absolutely fell in love with the venue. It was everything I was looking for with a beautiful deck, b...
eautiful views and elegant interior.
Initially our coordinator was a little lax, not taking notes at our meetings and having a difficult time getting a hold of us. I plan events for work so I made sure to give her detailed notes and step by step instructions for every piece of my reception. The day before my wedding our coordinator got sick and was unable to coordinate my wedding. That's when Ally stepped up. Ally was an absolute godsend.
Ally literally made everything perfect down to how I wanted the napkins folded. She was so professional and her staff was incredible. We had several family members who were handicapped and dinner was buffet style. Ally and her staff made sure to help our handicapped relatives get their food and drinks.
Everyone raved (and are still raving) about the amazing food they had too. Saying it was delicious is an understatement!!! Everyone also loved that the staff walked around with appetizers during cocktail hour. Actually, the food was so good at Williams on the Lake that my husband and I made sure to have all of our photos done so we could enjoy cocktail hour, to visit with our guests but mainly for the amazing appetizers!!
I am so thankful for Ally and the staff at Williams on the Lake for making our wedding reception perfect.
My husband and I got married at Williams on the Lake in August and could not be happier with how everything turned out. We’ve received many compliments on the venue and food. When ...
I started looking for a venue I was looking for somewhere that we could have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The overall package from Williams on the Lake was the best of the venues I had gone to see and they had everything I was looking for. The outdoor deck was wonderful as guests could go in and out during cocktail hour and the reception. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Overall we are very satisfied and would highly recommend Williams on the Lake.
Williams on the Lake was a great choice for our wedding venue! Jen was our coordinator, and was amazing the whole step of the way! She answered all questions on time and was very ac...
commodating with all of our requests and vision. Although our ceremony was not outdoors like we had hoped, the indoor option was just as wonderful, and they were even able to accommodate us in another building, which was perfect for my what i was envisioning. She was so helpful day of, with pictures, set up, as well as a quick tear down of our decor, and kept everyone, including one or 2 excited groomsmen in check. :) We also received many compliments on the food.
Thank you again Jen for everything- you made our day so special and easy!

re that everything ran smoothly, her decorating was amazing, and she was very professional. The entire staff was kind and efficient. They also worked really well with my other vendors, and their prices were reasonable, especially for all the work they put in on their end. ted the fact Aly was there the night of our reception, tending to any needs or requests we had the night of. We've received TONS of compliments on the food, and I agree, it couldn't have been any better! Our favorite dishes were the ham, and the cucumber salad! I would highly recommend Williams on the Lake to any friends in the Cleveland area to hold their reception!

eautiful and clean. The price is amazing when comparing the quality to other similar venues. We had to have our ceremony inside due to the weather and they transformed the room so quick before and after the ceremony. I'd definitely check them out!!

an great job pulling my vision together, keeping my massive bridal party on task, and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was perfection, so many compliments from the guests (highly recommend the Cajun turkey breast). I definitely recommend Williams on the Lake if you're looking in the Medina area, it truly is a gem. Thank you so much for everything we had a great day.

an amazing patio with a moon gate framing the lake. Our wedding was in October so we had the beautiful fall colors surrounding us. The perfect romantic spot to say our vows to each other. However, that is the only the beginning of our outstanding experience with Williams on the Lake. Aly Williams was our coordinator. Throughout the entire process Aly was always available to answer questions and offer support. For our dinner, Phil and I chose the Grill Package. The freshly grilled steak and baked potato bar was delicious! Both the servers and the bartender were incredibly professional and very friendly. The in house baker created an amazing chocolate vanilla swirl cake with a incredible butter cream frosting which looked just like the picture I gave her. Our wedding day was perfect!! Thank you Williams on the Lake!!!
We loved Williams on the Lake from the beginning. Family owned and operated, and such kind people. We worked specifically with Aly who was very timely with her emails and answered ...
all questions we had throughout the process. The lake is beautiful! Many picture worthy locations. The food was phenomenal as was the cake. Aly kept both the rehearsal and the ceremony organized and beautiful. They worked with all our different ideas and suggestions for the reception and we were rarely told we couldn't do something. Aly and her husband (also our bartender for the night)even color coordinated their outfits to match our colors!
Definitely worth the money!
I just got married at Williams on the Lake in the Lakeside South room August 29, 2014. The space itself is stunning indoors and out. I personally worked with coordinators Jen and R...
ose and they were amazing! Rose was able to handle my rowdy wedding party at the rehearsal and Jen was there for me all along answering any questions I had and offering suggestions and ideas. Their help was greatly appreciated. The food was amazing and they sent us home with quite a bit, which isn't always the case. Everything went so smoothly and they were so attentive and helpful all throughout the whole process and especially the day of. It was also good that almost all my vendors had worked with Jen before, so their comfort level made me feel much more at ease. Even those who weren't familiar with the venue or coordinators were well taken care of, which helped everything move along smoothly. The price is a little high compared to other places, but with having our ceremony and reception there, it was definitely competitively priced. I highly recommend having a Friday or Sunday wedding, as the discount offered was awesome as well! Overall, the space is beautiful, the food was great, the staff was amazing, and I have no complaints whatsoever!
My wedding was seriously the best day of my life, and I am so thankful that we had our entire day at Williams on the Lake. They are a wedding venue, caterer, cake baker, ceremony &...
reception hall, wedding planner, and day of event coordinator all in one! I went to visit this venue in April 2013 without my fiancé and I remember telling him that this is where I wanted our day to take place. He of course made me look at a bunch of other places until I booked us a tour at Williams on the Lake together, then the next day we made our deposit and signed the paper work!! Their entire staff is so knowledgeable and experienced in what they do, and you can completely tell that they love their jobs!! Everything from the planning to the actual event went so smoothly. When you sign your contract, they find you an experienced planner within their staff that suits what you are looking for. They ask you your vision and then they are there with opinions, vendor lists, and options every step of the way. Mark Williams was my event coordinator and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He would respond to my questions quickly and keep my stress to a level of nonexistent. He knew how to take what I wanted and was thinking in my head and make it into a reality!! On the day of my wedding he took care of everything and would constantly check on us girls in the bridal suite if we needed anything. He had the timeline down to a science and would be steps ahead of us making sure we were where we needed to be. I highly recommend them for your next event! They take the stress out of planning!!

d with any questions, concerns and details along the way. She was there for us and made sure our day was perfect. I love family owned business because they truly love what they do. Our cake was included which was a huge plus and it was beautiful and delicious. If you do have your wedding at Lakeside East be sure to get the Grill Package. My family and friends are still talking about the steak and potato bar! If I had to do it all over again I'd pick Williams on the Lake 100% of the time!

taff was also very polite, ready to help and knew what I needed on my wedding day, sometimes before I knew myself. Jen N is a WONDERFUL wedding coordinator and helped me stay organized during my whole wedding process.
Finally, this location is a great value. I got the location for both ceremony and reception, catering, bar services, table linens, centerpieces (although I decided to use my own), and cake for a price that fit my budget nicely. The cake baker even let me do cupcakes with a small cutting cake instead of a traditional cake!

s we are quite clueless as to what we would like to do. The food are AMAZING and totally in love with the potato thingy (can't remember what it was.. it's just soooo good). Again I can't say enough of good things about the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They are very helpful and definitely help ease some of the stress of the day.
Definitely recommend Williams on The Lake! Best price, best people, very professional and very helpful. Not to mention great food! Aly is the best!

e for you)! The day went fairly smoothly and we loved our wedding.
Our only major complaint would be the timing of the ceremony. This facility has 2 different ceremony and reception sites. They let us pick our ceremony time, but then allowed the couple at the other site to schedule their ceremony 30 minutes after ours. During our ceremony we could here their music, and once our ceremony was finished our guests were rushed inside and we were hushed and often reminded to be quiet so we didn't interrupt the other ceremony. I wish they would allow more time between the ceremonies so our group didn't feel rushed. I felt very much like our ceremony was rushed and we were unable to celebrate because we had to be quiet for the other group (although their music could be clearly heard throughout our ceremony).
We absolutely fell in love with this venue! We were deciding between this location and 100th bomber squad and I'm so glad we went with Williams on the lake! Since my husband is in ...
the Air Force we weren't exactly sure if we could have our wedding on that day or if he would get orders and they were SO willing to work with us. Our coordinator was Jen and she was awesome, she made us feel so relaxed and stress free! She helped out in so many ways! It is a little bit on the pricey side but the food is to die for! We got so many compliments on the food and the reception itself! It was our dream wedding!
You can't go wrong getting married at Williams on the Lake. My wedding was absolutely perfect. Mark Williams was my wedding coordinator and he made the process very easy. I loved t...
he fact that I was able to get everything I needed from them. They recommended other vendors such as my DJ and that took a lot of stress out of the process, especially since I was planning my wedding from out of state. I was only able to come in a few times prior, but we got everything done and it was amazing. The property is beautiful, with the lake and moon gate, it's great for pictures. I got married at Lakeside East with just about 100 people, and it was the perfect size. It felt very intimate but not too small. The food was excellent and I loved all the choices I had available to me.
I had my wedding at Williams on the Lake in October. It was absolutely perfect. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't able to have my wedding outside at the beautiful moon gate...
due to weather, but one of the things that I loved about Williams is the fact that they had a beautiful indoor option as well. They were able to make the switch from outdoor to indoor in a matter of minutes. It was very convenient to have my ceremony and reception at the same place. The staff was very helpful and accommodated all of my needs. Jen was my coordinator and she was awesome. I didn't have a lot of preconceived notions of what I wanted my wedding to be like and she did an excellent job taking the few details I did give her and turning it into an elegant and fun wedding. I recommend getting a photo booth (they have a preferred vendor that is reasonably priced) -it was a lot of fun! I went with the buffet style food, and it was all delicious. I received a lot of compliments on the food and overall experience. I highly recommend getting married here!!
I had to change my date, and it was not a problem. I never felt rushed or hastled or that my questions were dumb. I some issues come up with money near the date of my wedding. It...
looked like we were not even going to be able have the wedding. Aly Williams crunched some numbers, looked at some options, and worked out a way that we could still have the wedding, and it was awesome! The venue is beautiful, food and cake is included (which was a huge hit; everyone talked about how good the food was), they set up your centerpieces. I really can't say enough good things. You don't have to share the venue with other weddings, the room I got ready in was great (there was a balcony with great views for pictures), and I was able to use an office room for an activity for the kids.
The only issue was the lighting in the parking lot could be a bit better. One of my guests clipped a post, and the officer there said that it was not the first time it had happened.
We did our research and fell in love with Williams on the Lake in Medina! Throughout the entire process, our coordinator Jen, was fantastic!! Any question/concern she was there for...
me with helpful answers! Even at the very last minute, I realized I had forgotten to get table numbers, I told Jen and just like that she took care of the problem! The location is absolutely beautiful! Our pictures were fantastic, and our guests have been raving about Williams! The food was also wonderful, the hall was spacious so no one felt cramped, and everyone had a great time! I can't say enough positive things about Williams; if you havnt visited them yet, make sure you do!!
Williams on the Lake was great to work with, especially Jen (our coordinator). They set everything up how we wanted on Friday and Saturday, gave my parents the extra food to take ...

I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!!!! Let me start by saying... I'm pretty picky!!! The entire staff went above and beyond expectations every step of the way. Aly dealt with my melt down d...
ays, all my many changes, and talking me through EVERYTHING! Additionally, she worked with me on my budget so everything was affordable for my husband and I. My wedding was organized, beautiful, and perfect. We didn't have a rehearsal dinner and everything went down without a flaw. Little details that I had planned on handling, Aly took from me and told me to get ready, she will handle it! I walked in for the first time and the room was beautiful, it took everything in me not to cry. 90% of the reason my wedding day was perfect was because of Williams. The other 10% was my son & husband! haha I would give them 110% recommendations to anyone looking for a venue in the area. 5 months after my wedding one of my best friends got married there. All the staff members remembered me, were asking me how I was, if they could get me anything, etc. With all the weddings they do, I never thought they would remember me, they were even asking my mom how she was and saying hello to her. The food was fantastic at both my wedding and my friends. I was in the smaller building, my friend was in the larger one and both were stunning! The ambiance, lighting, landscaping, working with my other vendors, I cannot say enough positive things about what these people did for my husband & I and our special day! This place is truly the definition of professional! I love you guys! Thank you so very muchfor everything!

My daughter recently had her wedding in July 2011 at Williams on the Lake in Medina and I cannot tell you how appreciative I am of the staff at this venue. She had an outdoor wed...
ding which was beautiful. The grounds couln't have been lovlier. Trees abound and there is a lake in the back with a grape arbor to the left and a gazebo. As you enter the hall from the back there is a huge and wide deck to enjoy the outdoors. The staff was very accommodating. My daughter Lauren had a beach theme and we brought SEVERAL decorations and they beautifully decorated the hall; deck; and ceremony area. It was perfect. Now, lets talk food...we had a buffet. It was set up beautifully. Everything was DELICIOUS and I couldn't have eaten better food at a five star restaurant. It was wonderful! Again, guest complimented on the food stating..."I've never been to a wedding where the food was so delicious." And, the cake...moist...and beutifully decorated. We gave them a photograph and the baker followed it to a tee. The middle of the road liquor package sufficed and the bartenders knew exactly what I wanted. It also seemed like they new what everyone else wanted too! LOL I cannot gush enough about this Venue: Five stars for venue; five stars for food; five stars for staff assistance; five stars for bakery. Oh and we also had appetizers that were served by the waiters/waitresses--THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!! The cake was served as dessert...and the remaing cake was left on the cake table...it was gone when I left for the evening. I would have a wedding there again! It was a PERFECT day! They graciously gave me the leftovers and we ate for a few days and froze the rest. Aly and her family know what they are doing at this venue! You will be very satisfied if you have an event at this location!
Williams on the Lake hosted our wedding reception in June. We had approx. 215 guests. I do not think I can say enough to truly express how wonderful our reception experience was ...
with William on the Lake! My husband and I, along with my mom, must have researched and visited close to 20 venues before we saw Williams on the Lake. We worked with Aly, who was friendly, helpful, and professional from the start. Before we had the pleasure to meet Aly (and the other staff members) we visited the beautiful site. The grounds and buildings were stunning and exceptionally clean. From the start, Aly worked with us returning countless emails, answering and returning our calls, and working with us in any way to make our day exactly how we imagined it. The other venues we visited did not come close to providing us with such flexibility. I never questioned how beautiful the day would be.
When the wedding day arrived, we took most of our pictures on the well-maintained grounds by the lake, stream, gazebo, and deck. Our cocktail hour was outside on the roomy deck. The decor inside was perfect! Aly and her staff worked with us to make the room look better than I imagined. The food was hot, delicious, and had an appetizing appearance. The bartenders were professional and even gave suggestions to our guests about what to drink!
Our wedding occurred a month ago and our guests are still commenting about the beauty of the hall, the relaxing time they had on the deck at night, how the food did not taste anything like "typical wedding food", how the meat at the carving station was prepared to the guests' liking, the bar was well stocked, the staff was polite and professional, and the hall was THE "hidden gem" in Medina.
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for an AFFORDABLE wedding, which feels like luxury. You and your guests will have an enjoyable time, which no one will soon forget!!
