The Wilburton Inn absolutely blew us (and our guests!) away. We have had so many people tell us that ours was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and we owe so much of that to Meesha and her wonderful team.
Meesha was an exceptional venue coordinator. She was quick to address any issues, endlessly kind and compassionate toward us and our guests, and approached everything she did with such warmth and positivity. We truly felt that she cared about making our wedding weekend as special as possible.
The entire staff was equally wonderful, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and cared for. For example, at breakfast on Sunday morning, the chef made sure to have apples available because my cousin’s young daughter had mentioned how much she loved them. It’s those little gestures of thoughtfulness, repeated throughout an entire weekend, that create such wonderful memories.
The Wilburton also has extensive relationships with vendors throughout the area, which made planning our wedding so much easier. Most of our vendors came through their recommendations, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything came together.
We feel so fortunate to have celebrated our wedding at the Wilburton. It was everything we could have hoped for, and we will always be grateful to Meesha and the entire team for making it such an unforgettable weekend! We would give more stars if we could!

The Wilburton completely blew us away and was truly everything we could have ever dreamed of for our wedding. We got married 9/26/26 and had the entire property to ourselves for a long weekend (we came Wednesday and stayed through Sunday) with over half of our guests staying on-site with us, which made the whole weekend feel incredibly special and personal, like a giant reunion.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about our coordinator, Meesha! She was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, and made the weekend so effortless for us. Every single member of the staff, from the bartenders to everyone else behind the scenes, was so kind and genuinely invested in making our weekend perfect. Everything was executed exactly the way we envisioned it, and we felt so taken care of from start to finish.
Having so many of our friends and family on site and being able to host so many of our events in one place was incredibly important to us when we were choosing a venue, and we are so happy with this decision. We really felt like we were able to settle in, relax and enjoy the little moments from the moment that we got there on Wednesday. We could not have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate. A huge thank you to Meesha and everyone else at the Wilburton!!!

The Wilburton is perched on a hilltop with sweeping Green Mountain views. There’s historic charm, whimsical art, lush gardens, beautiful rugs. It feels like a family estate, an art museum, and a dreamy retreat all rolled into one. But what truly sets The Wilburton apart isn’t the beauty (though it is ABUNDANT). It’s the people.
The team behind the Wilburton…WOW. Meesha, Tajlei, Melissa, Albert, Sarah, Lottie, Valerie, Dexter, Sam, the CHEF!, the housekeeping crew... I don’t know how else to say this. They are literal angels. A full ensemble of guardian angels disguised as event pros, who treat your guests with so much care, warmth, and intention it will leave you speechless.
And Meesha…. the heartbeat of your wedding planning! She’s the Wilburton's on-site wedding planner for your entire planning process, but in reality, she goes WELL beyond that role. She is the calm in the storm, a problem solver, and deeply compassionate. She treated our family like her own. When visa issues threatened our international guests’ plans, she worked with Tajlei and Melissa to ensure flexible, stress-free housing. And when our budget felt tight, without us asking, she offered thoughtful ideas to help us save without sacrificing anything.
Then there are the moments in the special details. Like when all the shuttles had left and one of our guests missed the bus. Meesha personally drove him home at 1:30am, planning to come back to finish her work. Or how she and her team were somehow everywhere at once, framing table numbers, boxing things up at the end of the night. I have no idea when she did half of it. Meesha just made it all feel seamless.
And the entire team at The Wilburton follows that lead. While we were dancing at the reception, they snuck into our bridal suite, cleaned it, organized it, and left it glowing. No clue when they found the time, especially since Meesha was also capturing video snippets from the sidelines to send us.
Every vendor gushed about the staff. Every guest adored them. I genuinely wanted Meesha and the team around her as guests in the wedding by the time the big day came!
The team absolutely DELIVERS. Dexter’s MASSIVE bonfire on Friday night was the perfect kickoff (the bonfire is a MUST do!). Valerie’s INCREDIBLE warmth and cocktails were handcrafted magic with homegrown ingredients. Tajlei and Melissa made us feel like the property had been waiting for us all along. Even during our tasting weekend, they created an experience that felt personal, thoughtful, and joyful for all the couples. Everywhere we turned, the team added little touches: unwrapping guest blankets, grabbing Advil, offering tables and carpets, hand-delivering gift bags to rooms.
There were at least a dozen things I intended to handle, only to find they’d already been done. I’ll never know the full list of behind-the-scenes magic, but I felt it all. That kind of quiet thoughtfulness made the weekend feel easy, magical, and full of love.
If you’re looking for the BEST place for a wedding, reunion, event, or even a night away, do yourself a favor and book The Wilburton Inn!!!

selves and our guests. At first, that was not necessarily the thing that sold us. But during the actual weekend, it was truly so special to have a majority of our friends and family all together. Honestly, one of the best selling points for me personally was the fixed tent structure. We looked at so many venues that had the reception in a take up/take down tent over grass. Not at the Wilburton! The tent is in a fixed location, with chandeliers, a permanent fixed bar, and a permanent marble flooring and patio. It elevates the entire outdoor vibe to be so much nicer. The staff went above and beyond to prepare. We were told by dozens of guests how nice and kind the waiters, bartenders, clean up crew, groundskeeper, etc. were! All smiling, happy to help, happy to be there. The drinks especially were such good quality cocktails, the bartenders killed it! The food was amazing too! We didn't want to rely on their word too much about this because you know how wedding food can be. But seriously, the day of wedding food blew us away! The Inn itself it beautiful, all our guests loved the rooms. The bridal suite is huge and had enough room for all 13 of my girls to get ready in the day of. I literally keep telling all my friends that someone else needs to get married here because I want to experience being a wedding guest all over again! Thank you Wilburton family for making our day so special!

The property itself is stunning. From the drive in to the views, the historic buildings, the charming rooms, and the classic New England feel, it has so much character. It never felt generic or cookie-cutter. It felt like a place with history, personality, and heart.
But what truly made the weekend so special was the team. Meesha and the entire Wilburton staff were incredible from start to finish. They helped with every detail, handled last-minute requests with patience, supported our setup and décor, and made the whole weekend feel smooth and cared for. They also helped us bring together a wedding that blended Peruvian traditions with New England elegance, which meant so much to us.
Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the property was, how unique the weekend felt, and how much they loved being able to spend real time together. Our nieces and nephews also had the best time exploring the grounds, which made the weekend feel even more special for our families.
The Wilburton was so much more than just a venue for us. It became the setting for an entire weekend of memories, and we truly could not imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. Thank you to Meesha and the entire team for helping bring such a meaningful weekend to life.

The best part was working with Meesha, the Wilburton's wedding coordinator, who is unbelievably good at what she does. She made sure we had the most seamless wedding possible, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we might need. Meesha is unbelievable and even if the property weren't as stunning as it was, I would recommend booking the Wilburton for the opportunity to work with her. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out!

g cozy and intimate. In addition, we wanted a place with naturally stunning aesthetics and which could accommodate the various customs of a South Asian Hindu wedding ceremony. The Wilburton accomplished this beautifully and we knew we wanted to have our wedding here the very day we did our site visit!
Although we hired a wedding planner before booking The Wilburton, Meesha, the venue’s internal event planner, worked collaboratively with our team. Meesha had wonderful local vendor recommendations and we used her suggestions for the Indian food we catered for the Friday night welcome dinner (which our guests loved and still talk about!), florist, photographer/videographer (we just received our pictures and video reels and love them!), and rentals. The Wilburton and Meesha were also just as welcoming of the vendors our planners suggested (inclusive of DJ/lighting, Baraat Horse, HMUA and Hindu priest).
For our reception, we chose a buffet-style dinner and shared our inspiration with Gary, who truly brought our vision to life. The food was outstanding, and our guests still rave about how much they loved it. Valerie was just as incredible behind the bar, crafting the drinks for our wedding with so much creativity and care. We gave her themes for our signature cocktails, and she ran with them in the best way possible. To this day, guests continue to talk about how amazing both the food and drinks were.
Meesha was also quick to act to accommodate last minute guest cancellations and table arrangements.
We can't thank The Wilburton enough for a magical weekend.

Housing: we had ~100 friends and family stay in the houses on the venue campus and in the historic mansion. Everyone was comfortable in the houses and the mansion and it was so much fun to walk around the campus knowing anyone we bumped into was a guest of the wedding. The bridal suite was also perfect in terms of spacing and set-up for getting ready and allowing us to be comfortable for the entire weekend. Having most people "on-campus" in addition to hosting the welcome bonfire, wedding ceremony + reception, and send-off breakfast at the same place made it even more special and simplified the logistics of the weekend for us and our guests.
Natural Vermont Beauty: the views were INCREDIBLE. If you want the backdrop of your ceremony to be peak Vermont foliage, the back lawn is perfect! All our guests raved about the setting. Additionally, the Wilburton is tastefully decorated. The Mansion is a classic brick mansion with marble patios that ooze elegance without overshadowing nature. The owners (family run) also collect art that symbolizes love. These quirky statues are seen throughout the venue and just add charm to the event that keeps everyone intrigued in their surroundings without overshadowing the event itself. Our guests also loved exploring Manchester and we got so many compliments on the local hikes, stores, activities and even the beauty of their travels to the town.
Nobody leaves hungry: the Wilburton is hands down the best wedding food we’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous (the passed apps during cocktail hour were great, too). The son in the family operates his own local farm supplying many of the ingredients, and you can tell how important the freshness of ingredients was in the flavors and quality of the meals. We’ve never seen so many people complement vegetables!
Additionally, the entire Wilburton staff (set-up, servers, bartenders, etc.) led by Meesha is incredible. Meesha helped us stay organized and provided lots of resources that helped us choose vendors (all great) and make decisions that felt informed and stress free. She was also indispensable the weekend of the wedding, keeping us and our families on track, calm, excited and she thought of everything, including things we didn't even know to think about!

Our guests loved that they could stay on-site in the mansion and cottages — just walking across the property to each event. It made the whole weekend feel so connected and fun. We had some of the party stay in nearby hotels at the Kimpton and Hampton Inn which was also very easy with a shuttle bus.
I have to give a huge shoutout to Meesha, our coordinator. She was absolutely incredible. She kept everyone calm, on track, and made the whole planning process actually enjoyable. She’s creative, solution-focused, and always had the best ideas to bring our vision to life. On the wedding day, she somehow managed to keep everything seamless behind the scenes while making us feel relaxed and fully present. Truly, truly could not have done it without her, and in no world, would our wedding have been as personal and as special as it was without Meesha to help us.
The Wilburton's food was delicious and being able to bring in an ice cream cart (Wilcox Ice Cream) was such a hit, people are still raving about it.
What I’ll always remember most is how personal and warm the whole experience was. The Wilburton team didn’t just help us pull off a wedding — they helped us create a weekend that felt like us.
If you’re considering it: do it. It’s beautiful, it’s welcoming, and with Meesha and the Wilburton team behind you (Melissa and Tajlei too), the whole process feels effortless. And you really feel that it's a family-run business which makes it even more special and personal.

staff was a highlight as everyone was so nice. Meesha the coordinator is the most responsive person i have ever worked with, she is amazing and loves her job. Day of the wedding she handled everything and it was so nice! Everyone at our wedding raved about the food and cocktails. Our guests also really enjoyed the pool and lawn games. also the friday night bonfire was so cool and a perfect way to kick off wedding weekend!
planning the wedding was super easy as they have a list of suggested vendors so we just contacted those people and meesha answered all our other questions. plus you get to go to the inn around april/march for a day of eating and planning together before the event, which was so special.
something unique about this venue, beyond the charming decor, is the fact that everyone can stay on the property. you cant put a price on that! it was priceless to have the inn for the weekend to ourselves and not worry about who would be driving with drinking/ordering shuttles to hotels.
only thing i would improve is some of the amenities in the room like some water or updated steamers/irons. there is also only one handicap accessible room so if you have older grandparents keep that in mind for housing. but it is part of the charm that the inn is older.
we cant wait to come back another weekend to celebrate an anniversary!!

The historic Art Deco mansion is stunning. Normally, a property this grand would be a museum, roped off with security. But here, they make it clear: this place is yours for the weekend. You feel at home—but in the coolest home imaginable. Your guests can freely explore, adding to an unforgettable experience.
Seamless Layout & Guest Comfort
The layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture.
One overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? You can do so without missing a thing. If you have a dog, it's easy to check on them—or even bring them back to the dance floor (our guests did!).
Incredible Food
Choosing a caterer can be nerve-wracking, but the Wilburton’s food is exceptional. If you tried every caterer in the country, this would still be #1. Fresh, local, and plentiful—they do not skimp. The hardest part was picking appetizers and entrées because we loved them all!
Their wedding tasting event is genius. It’s set up like a real wedding—cocktail hour with appetizers, a seated dinner with entrée samples, and drinks to try. You also meet other couples, swap planning tips, and experience the top-notch service firsthand.
World-Class Service & Staff
The Wilburton’s team is extraordinary—polished, professional, and genuinely invested in your day. A perfect example: an hour before the tasting event, I realized I forgot to RSVP for my plus one. I let a waiter know, expecting chaos. Instead, they discreetly rearranged seating, added food, and learned my guest’s name—all without anyone noticing. Seamless.
The Heart of the Wilburton: The People
Beyond the breathtaking venue and amazing food, the best part of the Wilburton is the people. They are transparent, organized, and truly want you to have the best day of your life.
A special shoutout to Meesha, who made wedding planning effortless. She was incredibly responsive, unbelievably organized, and guided us through everything. I had zero worries on my wedding day because I knew Meesha had it handled. That level of trust is priceless.

The other thing that’s so perfect about the Wilburton is that more than half our friends and family were able to stay on the charming property, which made for a very relaxed and enjoyable weekend for everyone. urton Inn. From the moment we came for our initial tour, Meesha was all you could want out of a wedding planner, as well as a friend who is thoughtful, kind, smart, and more than a joy to be around. She helped with every single aspect of our planning, and we trusted here word entirely — we couldn’t have been more happy with working with her!
As to the venue, there is simply no better place to have a wedding. For context, my husband and I have big families. A lot of our family members were coming in from out of town and out of the country, so our priority was to have a wedding weekend where people could be together for more than one night. This is exactly what we got with the Wilburton. Our guests were able to play tennis, go hiking, go swimming, explore Manchester and, most of all, be together in the days leading up to the actual wedding. We reserved almost all of the houses on the property for guests to stay in, which created a laidback atmosphere as most people didn’t have to worry about driving back and forth or leaving at any point.
As for the wedding night, it was pure magic. The food was perfect, the service was perfect, the weather (luckily) was also perfect, which was just the cherry on top. You cannot beat the people, the venue, and THE VIEWS!!!
We wish we could do it all over again, but we are looking forward to visiting The Wilburton again for many, many years to come.

on Friday night; hosted a full Country Breakfast Saturday Morning with Mountain Yoga; Wedding with Reception on Saturday night and a continental breakfast Sunday morning. We had a 102 guests and took up the entire property. The staff was amazing taking care of all of the little details. The food was amazing. The onsite wedding coordinator, Meesha was really the glue that pulled it all together. Her ability to see two steps ahead of everything made it all seamless. She also as a list of vendors to help with cakes, flowers, babysitting, dog sitting etc. If you are looking for a destination wedding THIS IS THE PLACE. The onsite accommodations were fantastic. Our guests can't stop raving about how wonderful everything was. The mountain views add an amazing back drop to the venue.
Other things to consider: they offer a tasting for you to try all the menu items; you also get the ability to customize your menu; pool and outdoor games on property; guests felt like they were in a weekend getaway bubble. Those that wanted to go in town were able to as it's only a 6 minute drive.

the rehearsal dinner, the welcome bonfire, the ceremony, reception and after party, and the farewell brunch. It was the most perfect weekend. Let me try to break it down:
1) Planning: I'm very type A and Meesha met my standards and beyond! She is professional, honest, responsive, organized, and will do anything in her power to make sure your weekend is stress-free and that everything runs smoothly. She was working past 2:00 AM on our wedding night! I'm so grateful for her dedication.
2) Food: We went with the Wilburton's in-house catering the whole weekend and the food was delicious and served on time! We got tons of compliments from my guests.
3) Staff: I wish I could scream this from the mountain tops- the staff at the Wilburton are exceptional!! It rained on my wedding day and they worked so hard to pivot my outdoor ceremony to my rain plan. Moving furniture around, transporting our wedding party with umbrellas and golf carts, and keeping me hidden (since I didn't do a first look.) It was a secret service-level operation. Beyond that, they are so friendly! The bartenders (also make excellent drinks!), servers, housekeepers, groundskeepers, kitchen staff - everyone!
4) Venue: The views of the mountains are amazing, the landscaping is impeccable, the tent is stunning with the marble floors, there are enough bathrooms, and a huge bar that functioned so well (no long lines for drinks). We rented out every room/building onsite and my guests loved the convenience of that. We used the terraces for our rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour and the billiard room for our after party. The bonfire was magical and a a unique experience to give your guests. Everything is so close and easy for your guests to move from one event to another! It really is a one-stop-shop, all inclusive venue.
We are so thankful to everyone at the Wilburton who made our weekend as successful as it was. When you are wedding planning there is a lot of stress and fear that things won't come together - with the Wilburton you can rest assured that your wedding weekend will be perfect.

We were married on the front lawn and had our delicious reception dinner amongst the mansion’s rooms with dancing on the porch under the green awning. We stayed our wedding night in the bridal suit and received an extra night for free. We spent our first married day swimming in the pool and poking around downtown Manchester. (The recommended choices for dining out were so delicious and romantic.)
The reason we chose the Wilburton (besides the beautiful grounds and caring staff) was the fact that our entire families could stay on the wedding site with us.
As much as you plan and carefully prepare for every possible outcome, one cannot control the weather. We were married under the beautiful sun with the green Green Mountains as a backdrop and wild eagles flying above our heads. After photos and during the reception the heavens opened up and it down-poured!! Along with the rain came wind and a power outage - but this act of nature was no match for the Wilburton, they pulled out their candles and battery powered lights and my cake cutting was the most magical candle-lit event I could have ever imagined. Better than you could plan.
We will have been married 9 years this summer (2024) and I still recommend the Wilburton to newly engaged couples. Manchester is a lovely, quaint Vermont “city.”
We just spend a weekend at the Wilburton with our young children and we were treated as family. My husband couldn’t stop traveling down memory lane and it was contagious- we felt like newlyweds again, just starting out at “our” lovely mansion.

Every member of the team was so accommodating (for example, one of our signature drinks was coquito, the bar made it specifically for us using the recipe we sent, and it was delicious!). This season was very rainy, and while it would have been amazing to have the ceremony outside, Meesha’s team executed plan B without a hitch, and still just as beautiful. Everyone was so kind and friendly, they went above and beyond to make our weekend special, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Many thanks to: Dexter for lighting the bonfire on a rainy night, hanging our piñata, and all the other things he did behind the scenes! Meesha for her hospitality, guidance, support and wisdom during an event that is most likely a first for many of us! To Meesha’s team for all the hard work they did making the tent look GORGEOUS and keeping all of our guests happy! To the bar for making the most delicious specialty cocktail and keeping up with our guests. To chef Gary for his DELICIOUS food. Meesha and her team do an amazing job leading up to the event and the day of - they are truly experts who want to make your day as perfect as it can be. We were especially grateful with the team's ability to make a rain decision literally last minute. We tend to not have the highest expectations when it comes to wedding food but we were honestly very impressed! Chef Garry was nice enough to make us some custom culutral apps we requested that came out great and our guests raved about their meals at dinner. We also enjoyed having many of our guests on the grounds with us. It ended up raining during our ceremony time and we seamlessly switched to the rain plan- the patio under the awning which was the most cozy, intimate space that still offered the views of an outdoor space. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, and the amenities were everything! Every room is cared for. Meesha treated myself and each and every one of my guests like family. She is an incredibly special person sent from Heaven. From inception she made the entire process seamless and not scary at all! She always made herself available to answer any questions I had. She also provided me with any, and all information I needed - so that when the wedding day came my mind was at ease. She coordinated everything with all of my vendors, so that I did not have to worry about talking to them day of the wedding. Meesha deserves an award for all of her hard work!! If you are planning on having a wedding here – don’t miss out on the rehearsal dinner and the bonfire. These two events were so special and my guests were raving about them. It is a good opportunity to welcome everyone, and they do a great job coordinating the events. The venue itself is spectacular. Having all of the guests stay on the premises was KEY, you forget something in your room – no biggie just a few steps away. It was like a big campfire sleepover with all of my favorite people. The marble steps and pavilion tent are to die for. Not to mention – BEST MOUNTAIN VIEWS IN MANCHESTER!! The food is all farm to table and is incredible. Nancy Bishop is a local florist in the area that I was so blessed to have found, she knows the venue and is a master at her craft. Meesha was so patient and such a helpful guide in the planning process. She was amazing at bringing together all the moving pieces and especially in 2022 that is a major feat! With each hiccup like rental companies not having any stock, or me ordering the wrong escort cards, etc. Meesha would brush it off, tell me it was no big deal and find a solution. I could not have done any of this without her.
The unique beauty of The Wilburton is that it has a very special warm, homey, and comfortable feeling while still being a really grand and beautiful property. We filled every room for the weekend which made it feel like summer camp - everyone running around, being together and enjoying the grounds and the funky, incredible art installations.
We truly had the best experience planning and hosting our wedding at The Wilburton and have spent the past week fielding texts and calls from all of our guests who loved it just as much.

My husband and I owe our lives to Meesha, the wedding coordinator, who is literally a gift from the gods and thought of EVERYTHING and was so so accommodating and understanding. Each place is unique, and can accommodate different groupings. There are places with shared spaces or ones that are more private. The wedding spaces were wonderful! I loved the tent where we had our reception. It captures the mountain views that were seen from our ceremony out on grass. Meesha was our wedding coordinator and she was awesome! She helped us with everything and was there to answer all of our questions. She is super nice and if you choose this spot, you are in good hands. Her husband did our catering and it was phenomenal. The entire weekend (and even the planning leading up to it) was absolutely perfect and made so special by not only the beautiful landscape, but by the efforts, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and absolute care by all at The Wilburton. Our coordinator Meesha was attentive throughout all the planning and an absolute professional throughout our celebration. She was truly dedicated to ensuring we had our dream wedding. Our guest's lodging took the greater part of 4 of the houses on the property and each guest stated they had a great experience. We hosted a welcome party the first night and the charcuterie display was amazing, the second day started with a great breakfast for all and leisure pre-planned leisure activities. We ended the day with a bonfire complete with apple cider donuts and a bar. Our bartender was an absolute delight (and we were so excited to learn she’d be bartending at our reception the next day), she really was great with a crowd of all ages. We had a rocky start with the weather, but as soon as it was clear enough Meesha made sure the fire was roaring for all to enjoy! I can’t say enough about the wedding day. I said before, but it bears repeating… it was absolutely perfect! Meesha had been coordinating in advance with all our vendors and it really showed how much effort she had put in prior to the date. It was seamless and amazing. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and my husband I can’t imagine the day being any different. We plan on traveling back often to enjoy the beautiful scenery and friendly faces we grown to love at the Wilburton!

tside are amazing, the food is amazing (our friends still talk about the french toast from breakfast), the bridal suite is amazing. The Levis family and staff gave us the most perfect wedding weekend I could have asked for. I wouldn't change a thing. We planned our wedding in about four months and they were so helpful with the whole process. The bonfire after the rehearsal dinner was the most fun and unique way to kick off our wedding weekend. We had a lot of out of town guests who rented most of the houses. It was great to have everyone close to each other. The views from our outdoor ceremony aren't something you can find anywhere else. The marble pavilion tent where we had our reception is stunning. A wedding there is really an unbelievable experience for both local Vermont guests and out of town guests. Our wedding pictures are amazing and we can't wait to go spend another weekend at the Wilburton!

ld justify the four-hour drive (from NYC) for our friends and family. We were about to commit to Hildene when, by chance, it occurred to us to consider the Wilburton. We are so glad we did. We visited in the late summer and were dumbstruck by the lush green mountain views. And unlike Hildene, the Wilburton allowed us to stay on site and really soak in the surrounding mountains.
The setting was breathtaking but one feature the Wilburton offered was key to making our wedding such a beautiful experience: the Wilburton’s wedding coordinator, Michele Kropp. She was smart, experienced, and always knew exactly what to do. Her services added significant value to the venue’s offerings. Her patience knew no bounds, and we asked a lot. We feel we really gained a friend in the process. She went out of her way to guide us through our wedding experience --- and we needed a lot of guidance. She worked with our budget and gave us ideas to scale the wedding perfectly for our needs. If it wasn’t for her, I don’t know how we could have pulled it off.
Overall, the bonfire was a blast, the wedding ceremony was beautiful (people are still talking about the breathtaking views), the food was incredible (can’t thank Paul Kropp enough for a perfect menu design and execution), and the party was killer. The new tent is a crowning jewel on an already gorgeous property and experience. Can’t thank the Levis family (+Jackson), Michele, Paul, housekeeping enough. We look forward to visiting for many years to come.

All of our guests were able to stay on the property with us, and it was the intimate celebration I was hoping for. We had our rehearsal dinner with a bonfire Friday night, and the ceremony and reception Saturday evening. It all went off without a hitch, and there was nothing I had to do once everyone had arrived and settled in. The food was superb, the setting so gorgeous we really didn't need any of our own decorations (except for some amazing local flowers!). The Wilburton can require a little extra planning to ensure the experience you want (it is not a large hotel with full staff and facilities available at all times), but the result is a personalized and intentional experience.

our friends and families who came as far as Israel to be with us. We took over almost the entire property for the weekend and all of our guests were so impressed with the room accommodations, beauty of the property, and outstanding service provided. The wedding events went off without a hitch and it was such a warm, wonderful time that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We found the Wilburton late in our venue search and from the second we stepped into the Inn, we were sold. But we didn't know that we would end up with so much more than a beautiful venue, we'd make new friends, and find a place that we can visit for many years and hopefully bring our families back to. Wilburton Inn is not a cookie cutter place, and it's not a wedding factory. It is a completely customizable experience that allows you to create your unique vision against a beautiful backdrop, with a family and staff that truly put their heart into the entire process. They were flexible, immediately available to fix any issues, and just went above and beyond in every way to make sure our wedding was perfect. It wasn't just good service, it was genuine love for their property, their craft, and the relationships they build with their guests. We can't wait until the next time we're able to return and thank them so much for the unforgettable weekend and picture perfect wedding.
