About this vendor
This business was born from the idea that the perfect wedding doesn't require a year of planning and a long guest list. At Why Wait Weddings in Franklin, TN, we provide a quaint space to have a simple legal ceremony or vow renewal.
We specialize in elopements and micro weddings and typically have availability on short notice to accommodate those who do not wish to wait.
At our dedicated space, we offer two packages: One is a simple legal ceremony, and the other includes photography from our partner Dahlia Orchid Photography.
We also offer on-site officiant services if you are planning a more traditional wedding! We can provide support for a rehearsal and travel to your venue to officiate and sign your license. Note: A travel fee may be required for distances over 50 miles.
Please reach out to discuss options for your special moment!

Thanks so much to Emily! She wrote a beautiful script for my intimate ceremony. She was very friendly, on time (even though we were running late due to my child having a melt down)...
, and professional!
Emily...how can I put into a brief statement everything that you mean to us? You were perfect. From the time our dialogue commenced on The Knot until I made a last-minute request...
that didn't faze you less than 24 hours before the ceremony. You were so incredibly helpful for 2 Canadians sorting out a distant elopement, you embraced our dog's importance to us and the "big day", and your words were so "us" that we felt like you were a family member officiating...while you simultaneously remained so professional. I would recommend you to anyone! You really "get" people, and you really care about their events, and it shows. Thank you again and again and again. Cheers!
