About this vendor
I am Whitney Cole, a central Virginia native with a BFA in Photography from VCUarts. I grew up surrounded by albums of 35mm prints that captured all of my family's joyful and idiosyncratic moments, and I've brought that experience with me into my photography work. I love to be a fly on the wall and photograph genuine, artful, and even peculiar moments that truly capture the energy and the personality of you and your loved ones. I work primarily with still images, but love to snag small moments of motion through videos or cinemagraphs. I shoot with my sister, Casey, who is also a VCU Photo grad! I always try my best to treat my clients like my closest friends and family, and provide a service that keeps them informed, at ease, and valued. Past clients have appreciated my constant communication and organization throughout the booking process, which transition to an unobtrusive and laid-back shooting style the day of their event. I would love to get to know you and your photography needs more, so please reach out if you have questions or want to chat!

Oh man! WHAT ISN’T THERE TO SAY ABOUT THIS FABULOUS DUO! Aside from going to college with Whitney, I had always envisioned having her photograph my wedding. Whitney and her sister ...
Casey are such positive beams of light. They are professional and silly at the same time. They truly can make any awkward pose look amazing in photographs. They bring amazing energy and are wonderful HYPE WOMEN! My husband and I are blown away by the photographs from our wedding. Whitney & Casey captured our retro vibe, with some mood. All of the colors in our photographs are so vibrant, despite being in the middle of rain from a hurricane. They are top notch professionals and know how to style any scene, and flat lays with pieces that are so important to us. They have unbelievable personalities and are so amazing with wrangling the rowdy groomsmen in. They captured everything that we asked for and we could not be happier with the results of our wedding day. The sisters are so organized and so good at nailing down your vibe from your inspo pictures that you send them. We met with them a few times throughout and the timeline we created was perfect for the day! I HIGHLY recommend working with these fabulous women to capture your wedding day or special event. Y’all are the best!
Whitney did an excellent job capturing our wedding exactly how we dreamed of (she went above and beyond, really). She communicated with us well throughout the process and we felt r...
eally confident in her work the whole time, which made it easy to relax about photos and stress about one less thing on our wedding day. All the things we noted we would want, she took into consideration. Getting our photos back was such a magical moment, she really brought to life our venue and our love for each other in the most natural, authentic way. She's especially great for LGBTQ couples - very conscious of pronouns and aware of all that comes with having an LGBTQ wedding.
