We had Whitling Photography do our Engagement and Wedding photos; she was a perfect choice for us. Our Engagement session was on the farm I grew up on and our wedding was at The Pr...
iory in PGH - 2 very different settings; yet I felt the two albums were cohesive.
Her humor matched our vibe: we are awkward and basically laughed the entire time. I’m obsessed with our photos and look at them almost daily (we got married over two months ago). I had a REALLY hard time picking a photo for our save-the-dates and Thank Yous because we loved them all so much. She captured our day perfectly.
My now-husband hates photos so I knew I needed to be strategic when getting them done & Stephanie was very understanding. I’m also a little Type A and Stephanie really worked with me to get my vision without wasting any time!
She was prompt with both arriving on-time and providing our albums to us (early actually). She was professional but she still connected with us. I think she’s hilarious & creative.
I could not recommend Whitling Photography enough. We will definitely be booking her again for a family session or something. We love you Stephie!
If you’re looking for a photographer and you come across Whitling, seriously stop looking and book Stephanie. She is so down to earth and easy to work with, I’ve never had as much ...
fun getting pictures done as I have with her. When she shot my engagement and wedding photos, I gave her a few shots that I wanted and then let her take the reins and that was the right move. My pictures turned out amazing, and I cannot stress enough how much fun she made it. You can see it in the pictures. She brought the vision I didn’t even know I had to life.
We were hopeful and excited to have Whitling Photography as our wedding photographer based on online reviews and referrals from friends. We even chose our date based on Stephanie’s...
availability. However, we could not be more disappointed and appalled with our experience. A professional photographer should be your biggest advocate, hype person, and partner on your wedding day. Stephanie was none of that. Our choice to make Stephanie and Whitling Photography our wedding photographer is by far the biggest regret of our wedding.
A month before the wedding, I had sent Stephanie location ideas, gps addresses, and, at her request, shared my Pinterest idea board for photos. I also stated that if she had any other thoughts or ideas, to please let me know. It was forecast to rain on our wedding day, which we were not upset about as we realize we can’t control the weather and trusted Stephanie had it handled. Instead of a call/text the day before with reassurance, alternative location ideas, or backup plans, she showed up the day of unprepared, aloof, and, frankly, giving off the air of being bothered, as if she had better places to be. I spent the day of my wedding searching for alternative locations and ideas for photos. A couple should not have to work that hard for any vendor on their wedding day. She made inappropriate and uncomfortable comments to us, both at our engagement session and at our wedding. She gave very little direction or guidance for photos and posing. The album she produced was something that could’ve been created on Shutterfly and a sorry example of a professional product. I could go on and on regarding our disappointment, disgust, and displeasure with our experience.
We were so grateful to work with Stephanie! Not only was she so much fun to work with, but she was also creative, thorough, and made us feel more comfortable than usual in front of...
the camera.
Our engagement and wedding photos all turned out beautifully and we still look at them every day six months later. She perfectly captured the spirit, fun, and love of our wedding, from detail shots and group photos to couples' portraits and candids!
We absolutely love our pictures. The engagement session was so fun and they captured every moment of our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Stephanie really k...

Stephanie and Brett are very nice, fun, and easy to work with. Stephanie came earlier than expected to get detail shots and even helped us in the last min shuffle to get everyone r...
eady. Brett met the guys and took pics with them. They were great for couples photos and got us to do a lot of fun things that looked great in pictures. We took all direction from them and Stephanie had us try a lot of stuff that turned out awesome. They also were very efficient for family photos. They got great detail shots and sooooo many amazing candids. Their style is more photojournalistic which is exactly what we wanted. They got us a sneak peak the day after our wedding and then delivered all the photos in about 3 weeks. All of the pictures look so good and they caught every important moment. If you are looking for earthy, moody, swoon-worthy photos, these are your people!!!!! We shared our wedding blog post and have received so many compliments on the photos.
Brett and Stephanie are wonderful! They went above and beyond what you would expect wedding photographers to do on your wedding day. I was a pretty organized Bride but I have no id...
ea where I wanted my pictures to be taken. They found little scenic places everywhere we were to take pictures and they turned out amazing. They truly have a talent for wedding photography and I HIGHLY recommend them. Not only are they great photographers, but they are wonderful people as well. :)
Of course they were punctual and professional, but their personalities set them above the rest. This married couple had so much love in their work and we could tell with the finis...
h product. They were helpful with accommodating everything from the package to the day events. Steffie was passionate about her work and Brett shined right next to her. They are an incomparable duo. I highly recommend this couple for any wedding whether it is outdoors in the mountains or downtown at the Carnegie Science Center :)
Brett and Stephanie were so great. They were easy to coordinate with us even though we were not local. Whenever we had questions, they were quick to respond and always happy to hel...
p. They made the experience on the day of incredibly easy and took so much of the stress out of the day. They didn't try to get us to be too posed or do anything other than what was natural for us. The photos are beautiful and we cannot thank them enough!
Stephanie and Brett exceeded their already stellar reputation as our wedding photographers. Having two shooters who work so well together enables them to get so many shots from the...
day from different vantage points and different locations. Additionally, their technical skills are obviously on point, but they also capture the emotion and feeling of the day in their photos. We felt like we were reliving the day while looking through our photos and loved them all. Nothing was left out. It was also surprising to me how much they were able to capture without leaving us feeling we were spending the whole day taking pictures. I would recommend them to anyone. And their packages are well worth every penny, especially with all the little extras they include.
After a disastrous experience with another photographer, I found Whitling Photography through a friend on Instagram. I fell in love with their images, and contacted them about shoo...
ting my wedding, and I am so glad that I did! Stephanie and Brett were so sweet and much fun to work with! They did an excellent job of capturing our wedding day.
When talking to them before the wedding, one thing that I really emphasized was that I wanted us to look like ourselves. I wanted to look natural. They did an incredible job making this happen and capturing who we are as a couple, which I think is SO important in wedding photography. Every picture in our gallery was beautiful, and it was nearly impossible to narrow down when we were ordering.
They are also incredibly professional and efficient! We had our image gallery back less than a month after our wedding, and they've been great at keeping in contact about our album and portraits.
I honestly cannot recommend Whitling Photography highly enough, and would suggest them to anyone looking for a wedding or engagement photographer!
We LOVE Stephanie and Brett! We used them for our wedding and engagement photos and I was truly shocked at how amazing every photo was. My husband and I do not like being photogra...
phed but they made us feel completely comfortable. They are so down to earth and easy to work with. I gave them very little direction on what we wanted and we were very indecisive but they were able to give us exactly what we wanted! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for their style of photography. We could NOT have been happier with everything from our engagement shoot all the way through the wedding. Simply amazing photos and amazing humans.

comfortable. They are such a fun couple to work with! We were able to go about our day and act naturally while they captured every moment. The photos turned out absolutely amazing. The way they were able to work with the light and shadows made for very unique shots. Simply put, we could not be more pleased and highly recommend them.

eeting they took the time to drive halfway to get to know us and we really felt like they understood what we wanted. They were so easy to work with and when my husband and I felt awkward (because we had no idea what we were doing!) they immediately made us laugh and feel more comfortable. Our wedding pictures were absolutely stunning and we feel like they captured everything beautifully! Communication with Stephanie and Brett when we had contact with was seamless. They got back to us pretty much immediately with every e-mail we sent. As soon as Stephanie walked into the bridal suite she took charge of the day. I loved that!! We received our wedding pictures within the timeline they provided us with and I cannot stop looking at them. They are everything we dreamed of and MORE! Every picture captures the day so perfectly and we cannot be more grateful for that. We would recommend Whitling Photography to anyone and everyone. Thank you Stephanie and Brian!

ir craft. They get to know their clients, they have an amazing and artistic eye, and went almost undetectable during our day (when they needed to be).
Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous. The wife and I smiled from ear to ear the entire time while looking at them for the first time because they captured the day so perfectly.
If you have any doubts about who you want capturing the images from your special day, look no further. These guys rock!
I am so glad we hired Stephanie and Brett as our wedding photographers. Our photos are absolutely stunning and working with them was such a pleasure. I am semi-convinced that we we...
re all very good friends in another life. Personable, professional, and down-to-Earth, they fit right in with our family and friends and captured some truly beautiful moments on film. They were incredibly accommodating of our special requests, worked with us to stay within our budget, and, most importantly, made us laugh and helped us feel comfortable on our wedding day. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.
I can not compliment Brett and Stephanie's work enough! They are absolutely amazing to work with and take the most beautiful pictures that capture the wedding! I love their work!

phs. Whitling is about quality... we received 1200 photos with quality in each of them... they capture every part of your day and barely every hear or see them. they find crazy shots that are just so surreal on paper... it's amazing. Brad and I are so happy with all our photographs and cannot wait to see you two again for more photos. We highly recommend Whitling Photography for your wedding!
We decided to book Stephanie and Brett for our wedding because of a combination of quality and affordability. I had reviewed full galleries (as opposed to samples of the best) from...
their other weddings and was confident that they would not miss key moments and take beautiful photos throughout the entire day. They did not disappoint! On our wedding day, they were inconspicuous and allowed us to be ourselves -- capturing singalongs in the limo, silly banter about our cat and emotional moments with our parents. By taking this authentic approach, our joy and love for each other naturally shined through in the photos. Best of all, we didn't have to wait long to see the photos afterward. They posted two photos on social media before we even got to our honeymoon location, followed up with a online blog post that we absorbed via shaky wifi in Africa and then sent us our entire gallery less than a month after the wedding. Another perk - they give you all the photos on a USB, which they sent along with a Christmas card and a sample of printed photos. They were professional, efficient and joy to work with. We now have photos that we will treasure for many years to come!

w us as a couple and what important moments we wanted captured during our wedding. They were highly professional and made us feel comfortable and at ease. Their photographs told a story of the entire day, and they captured so many special moments that we will cherish for years to come. I would highly recommend Whitling Photography!

use they work in such a professional but light and calm manner. The husband and wife duo was awesome to see as they knew how each other worked and could vibe off of each other. Second, their creativity and quickness on the job is amazing. I love their style of photography and with it they captured some beautiful moments. They worked with us in outdoor conditions in the rain to get us amazing photos. I am so happy we chose Whitling Photography and would highly recommend them to everyone.
Let me start off with saying that Stephanie and Brett are two of the kindest individuals that I have ever met. Throughout the wedding planning process, at the wedding and reception...
, and then their follow up after the event, they were so helpful and attentive. They really took the time to get to know more about my husband and I and what exactly we were looking for pertaining to our big day and especially the photography. On the big day, they were so discreet that I honestly forgot they were even there at the reception. When we received our photos, I was an awe at the absolutely stunning shots, from our reception in particular, which they had captured, especially because I didn’t even see them during those moments! Photography-wise they are truly artists! Some of the pictures that they shot truly took my breath away. The pricing was very reasonable and was worth every penny. So, if you’re looking for a photographer in the Pittsburgh area, I’d definitely recommend Stephanie and Brett! Thank you Whitling Photography for perfectly capturing the best day of my life!

raphers. I wanted people who had an eye for pictures, experience behind the lens, and gave a product that would stand the test of time. Our package included 2 photographers, 10 hours, an engagement session, $100 in photo credit and copyrights. Not only did I feel it had great value with everything our package had but the product certainly backs up the price. I can't say enough good things about the duo! If you choose them, I can assure you it'll be the best decision you'll make!
We absolutely loved working with Brett and Stephanie. They made us feel so comfortable and worked to make sure we got all the shots we ever wanted. They were absolutely amazing. ...
They spent all day with us and took so many amazing photos. We have only gotten a handful of our photos back, but what we have seen so far have been incredible! I would absolutely use Whitling Photography again and hope we have the chance to do so!
