White Horse Farm Catering

set up and clean up. Angela checked on us multiple times throughout the reception which was very nice. They were also very accommodating to our family and friends with food sensitivities. I highly recommend White Horse Farm Catering!

ad chef checked on us multiple times during the reception. The food was delicious!

is on site making sure everything runs smoothly and is easily accommodating to guests with special allergies. Couldn't be happier with the freshness, quality and taste.

ed about the burger bar! She and her team really kept her spirits up and still made amazing food, despite having to grill in the rain. We are so appreciative of them!

rgers and sides. Due to the size of our wedding (165) we went with the family style country roast. The flavor of everything was out of this world. As the bride and groom, our biggest regret was that we didn't get to eat enough! The Mac and Cheese was AMAZING, we went to Italy for our honeymoon but I would have been content eating Angela's Mac everyday post wedding. I would go to any future weddings, just to have Angela's food. Future brides, send invitations my way or you may see us as the next wedding crashers!

ommodating with what we wanted and ensured we had the best service possible. I would highly recommend using this catering company for your wedding or special event. They have a variety of options to choose from including appetizers for your guest beforehand :)

decided to go with the burger bar option at our summer wedding, and could not have been happier/more satisfied with our decision. With guest’s meal preferences ranging from meat to vegan, WHF managed every dietary need and offered delicious options for all! We received so many compliments on the meal and appetizers! We are still dreaming about our burgers and mac and cheese! 😍

well and she was always in communication with us whenever we had questions. We did the Country Roast and it was beyond delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was. We couldn't have been happier!

asking me to get the the recipe for the Mac and cheese which was apparently the best that anyone has ever had before because they can’t stop taking about it. We are so happy we went outside of the box and had a burger bar. Angela (the owner) actually was at my wedding cooking and serving up the burgers and she was so sweet and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us! Thank you to the WHF Team!

orough. We heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests. The mac and cheese seemed to be the biggest hit, and I was told by multiple people that this was the best meal they've had at a wedding. We are so grateful to have had such a great experience for ourselves and our guests, and can't recommend White Horse Farm Catering enough. They helped the whole dining experience flow smoothly.

is because I’d read lots of great reviews, but I should’ve went with another one when she told me she didn’t do tastings, and with her attitude from the start. On the wedding day the food really didn’t impress me: There was barely enough hors dourves to go around when we told her an over estimate amount of people, and most of my family never was even approached by a server with them, including my husband and I. Also, who leaves the inedible end on green beans? Everything just looked kind of sad, either not cooked enough or over cooked. The food looked cheap, but it certainly wasn’t.

ple who attended this wedding are going to be talking about this mac n cheese for years." My partner and I planned our wedding from afar and WHF was so easy to work with and the day of staff was amazing. Thank you!

was amazing. I had many guests come up to me afterwards and told me it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding hands down. Would definitely use again and 1000% recommend. Great service, great price and AMAZING food.

exactly what needed to be done, which took a lot of stress off me and my husband. Their staff were very friendly and made a good point to ask if we needed anything during the duration of dinner. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food and I would recommend them in a heart beat.

nts we received on how good the food at our wedding from White Horse was. Here are some of the highlights: "The pork just melted in our mouth!" "If there was a way for us to bring that mac and cheese in a to go box with us, we would have!" "The mushrooms were absolutely to die for". My mom especially wouldn't stop raving about it, she said that usually wedding food is forgettable but ours wasn't at all and guests were complimenting her all night! Truly though, thank you so much for such wonderful food. I also know the asparagus appetizers were a huge hit and gone immediately. The team was also very kind, made sure appetizers were continuously passed (several guests raved about this) and even left the groom and I several appetizers at our head table so we'd get to try them. I can't say enough good things about White Horse and I HIGHLY recommend using them!

wedding, and the quality of the food was incredible! Our guests had only rave reviews, many saying it was the best wedding food ever and a nice change from the typical reception fare, and several can't stop talking about the insanely good mac & cheese. The food was fresh and hot (meat cooked on-site!), the buffet line moved quickly, the servings were generous, the food was DELICIOUS, and the staff was great! Would highly recommend!

ched our guests lick their plates clean. Vegetarians loved the chipotle-braised portobellos and fresh, creative salad. Our carnivores destroyed the pig. Everyone fought over the macaroni and cheese - a few friends brought it up last weekend out of the blue, following it up with “I’ve never remembered wedding food more than 10 minutes after I ate it, but I’m going to fondly remember that mac for a long time.” Amy is an efficient, no-nonsense professional who quickly got our contract drafted up and executed, and then required absolutely zero hand-holding in the lead-up to the big day, which we really appreciated. She was on-site the day of the wedding and was so kind and welcoming. Her staff even prepared a little silver tray of 2 of each of our appetizers for the sweetheart table in case my husband and I hadn’t had a chance to try them during happy hour socializing - a little gesture that demonstrates WHF’s attention to detail in delivering the best catering that SW Michigan has to offer!

led it "the best wedding food they've ever had." A lot of times, the dinner at weddings is lukewarm and mediocre, but we were so happy with the burgers and sides. The green beans, for example, were really well seasoned and still crispy. Highly recommend White Horse Farm!

lity of food and the service they provided. I'm glad to have had them as part of my Daughter's special day, thank you to the entire staff!!!

e food, the sous chef even sought me out after dinner to make sure everything went well. I would highly recommend

lking about the delicious food. The servers were so professional and went above and beyond. We truly cannot express how much we appreciate their effort and hardwork! We were apprehensive about booking a caterer that we had never sampled. We are not from MI, so we had to trust the recommendation of a friend and it was the best decision we made. We are forever grateful for the part they played in helping to make our daughter's wedding one of the best days in all of our lives. They are number 1 in our book!!!

rything from "BEST burger" they have ever had, to "thank you for feeding us what we really want to eat!" And "best wedding food anyone in this family has ever done" . The buffet presentation was great! Egg and bacon station - amazing. Vegetarian choice was soooo delicious too. The burgers are huge, and people said they didn't mean to eat the whole thing but couldn't stop because it was all so good. Their appetizers were lovely. People LOVED the salad and baked beans. Mac and Cheese was perfect. I could go on and on. Our food was definitely something our families will remember and talk about for a long time! We couldn't be happier!

be downright expensive, bland, and just awful. When seeking a catering for our rustic wedding, my husband and I wanting something approachable, delicious, and what is better than a taco bar? Enter Angela Lee and her fabulous team at WHF. Chef Angela has a strong background in creating wonderful cuisine at numerous restaurants in Chicago and her focus to details is superb. My guests at the wedding were blown away by the flavors and freshness of the multiple different types of tacos. And: Coming from the south, my family knows good Mexican food. My mother even commented that the chorizo tacos were the best she has ever tasted. I, also, found out next day that Chef Angela actually went around to every table, greeting them, sharing recipes, and making sure each of my guests were satisfied. WOW!! Working along side her up until the wedding was a dream. Any question I had, WHF would respond promptly and would always assure me that they had my interests in heart. Chef Angela even emailed me the day before when the weather took a 15 degree drop to be prepared... (I had extreme "bridal brain" at that point) Truly, an amazing woman, fantastic company, and beyond delicious food. I can't wait to hold another event (um, not wedding-haha) just to try the burger bar next.
