White Dress Black Tie

ly anything on the most important day of my life, Darcey handled it all. From the beginning, she gave us recommendations of vendors, helped with contracts and made sure she understood every small part of our day. On the day of I didn't worry about a single thing because Darcey took care of it. She pivoted when needed for the timeline and everything went off without a hitch. Choosing White Dress Black Tie for our day of coordination was the best choice we made.

out to Sam being amazing the entire time and making sure everything happened as i wanted it to :) Thank you!!

beyond in every way. She handled communication with vendors, built a flawless timeline, and made sure every detail came to life exactly the way we envisioned.. all while keeping us completely stress free. Whenever I had a question, she was there with an answer and a solution. On the wedding day she did everything.. she cleaned my dress when I spilled food, fluffed my veil before I walked down the aisle, and seemed to be everywhere at once making sure things flowed with ease. Thanks to Sarah, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment without worry. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator JUST DO IT,  and hire Sarah. She is truly amazing❤️

y had. We were paired with Lucy Donnelly - and we seriously cannot recommend WDBT or Lucy enough. She was extremely helpful from the second that she got assigned to us, and was kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. She truly is the reason that our vision for our wedding came to life. Not only was she helpful on the day of and the day before, but she curated a perfect timeline that captured all of the moments that we wanted. She was flexible with us as we changed our minds in the weeks leading up to the wedding as well. Lucy and WDBT are by far the best vendors that we had at our wedding and we simply could not imagine our day without them.  If we were to get married again, we would without a doubt, 100% go through White Dress Black Tie again.

credible coordinator, Nicole. Nicole began helping us months in advance, always available to answer our questions and help us navigate decisions. She took over communication with our vendors, created our full timeline, and brought a level of organization and calm that made us feel completely taken care of. The planning tools and checklists WDBT provides are incredibly helpful. Using them, we were able to think through and prepare for so many little details we wouldn’t have considered on our own. Nicole’s attention to detail and organization truly kept us on track, and even though we only met in person a few times before the wedding, it genuinely felt like she knew us and our vision so well. On the day itself, she was present for everything, executing our plans perfectly and making sure everything aligned beautifully with what we had envisioned. From the lovely owners Veronica and Bryan to the support staff, everyone we interacted with at WDBT was kind, thoughtful, and a joy to work with. If you’re looking for a coordinator who will support you with heart, professionalism, and true expertise, we can’t recommend White Dress Black Tie enough.

zation, and genuine excitement that made the entire planning process not only stress-free, but truly enjoyable. She thought of every detail—things we never would’ve considered—and made sure our vision came to life even better than we imagined. Whether it was managing vendors, building our timeline, or handling last-minute changes with total grace, Keeley was always one step ahead. On the day of the wedding, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment, knowing everything was taken care of. So many of our guests even commented on how smoothly everything flowed—and that’s 100% thanks to Keeley. If you're looking for someone who is professional, organized, creative, and a true joy to work with, look no further. We are beyond grateful!

rdinator. She was fantastic! Her and her assistant did a wonderful job bringing my vision to life with setting everything up, it was such a stress relief to not have to handle it myself. The day went so smoothly that if there were any issues at all, I wasn't even aware and I know that is all because of Katie. Even before the wedding, she was so helpful and knowledgeable, providing a spreadsheet of so many details and things that I wouldn't have even thought of, answering my endless questions so quickly and willing to make any change I asked for. Would 11/10 recommend Katie!!

o our wedding she made our lives so much easier. We had the partial planning package, which meant that Katie helped us find so many amazing vendors. She is patient and kind and has a calm energy that helps you get through the stress of wedding planning. Her organization skills are amazing as well! We truly could not have the perfect wedding day without her and WDBT. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress free process.

entire planning process. Over the past year, Katie went above and beyond. She sent us vendor lists when we were stuck, answered every single question I had (big or small—and trust me, there were a lot), and brought me a much-needed sense of peace in the midst of my wedding planning panic. On the day of the wedding, however, I wish there had been more proactive communication as discussed in our final call. Many felt that Katie could have visited the bridal suite more often, communicated the timeline before the ceremony more clearly, and done more to keep things running on schedule. Unfortunately, some of the key details we discussed did not happen. For example: The rings were not brought from the bridal suite to the groom's suite. The distribution of flowers wasn’t confirmed. We were not alerted about running late with table visits during the reception. One particularly stressful moment came a few weeks before the wedding when the venue informed us that I would have to walk down the side of the aisle rather than the middle. WDBT assured me they’d make it work. However, 45 minutes before guests were scheduled to arrive, we noticed during our photos in the greenhouse that there wasn’t enough space for me to walk behind the chairs and down the middle aisle. Thankfully, the photographer ran up to tell them, but it was disappointing to see that the chair setup we had discussed so extensively wasn’t executed correctly. That said, Katie and her team were still instrumental in making our wedding day unforgettable. Despite being hired as a day-of coordinator, Katie’s communication and support ahead of time were invaluable. She handled all vendor communications, both leading up to and on the wedding day, taking a huge weight off my shoulders. She thought of all the questions I didn’t even know to ask! Katie and Astoria also set up all the décor, flowers, and details to absolute perfection. Their attention to detail and hard work truly made the day magical. While there were some areas for improvement, I would still recommend WDBT for their professionalism, dedication, and ability to ease the stress of wedding planning.

and she was so on top of every detail. She even stayed calm and made sure everything went smoothly when the day of our wedding we had to completely reorganize our timeline due to a storm so that we could still have our ceremony outside, which was a high priority for us. I honestly am not sure we would have had as amazing a wedding without Karen and WTBD as our planners.

he explained that their process starts 6 months before your wedding day and that sold me. She delivered on everything they specified in that initial meeting. I was lucky enough to have Veronica as my primary coordinator and because my wedding was large, I also had the wonderful Taylor supporting us as well! I had some unfortunate hiccups with other vendors but Veronica and Taylor were on top of everything! I felt so supported and my wedding day was absolutely perfect. I genuinely believe my day would not have gone as well without Veronica and Taylor’s amazing planning ahead of time. If you were looking for a sign, this is it! Book with White Dress Black Tie before it’s too late!

way through the wedding day. Veronica recommended all of our vendors and prepared a detailed budget for us to keep us on track. She also handled all vendor communications and was very responsive to our questions all throughout the planning process. Because Veronica was so involved in all aspects of planning our big day, we were able to completely trust that she would handle everything on the wedding day. This made all the difference so that we could just enjoy the day without worrying about any of the logistics. Highly highly recommend!

absolutely loved them. We had no worries our entire wedding day thanks to these two! They were on top of everything! Everything flowed perfectly.

very question we had very quickly, and believe me when I say I had a lot of questions. We were able to rent some of our decor from the company, which was super helpful for us as an out of state couple, and Karen made sure the rest of the decor that we provided was set up exactly the way I had requested. On our wedding day she kept us on schedule without rushing us or making us feel bad for needing to take an extra moment with something, which we loved. My husband and I can’t thank her enough for making sure everything on our wedding day was perfect!

up all of our decor, flowers, too much to list. She was very calm, friendly and was very organized. Highly recommend. It was the most amazing day, couldn't have done it without her!

a helpful spreadsheet to keep us organized and make sure we were thinking of all of the large and small details. She was very accessible by email and made us feel like all of our questions and answers we valid. On the wedding day she was ever-present and troubleshooted all the issues that arose like a boss. Highly recommend Veronica!

pleted a spreadsheet describing our preferences for the wedding day. It was obvious that these folks have done this many, many times-- it was pretty seamless. Our rehearsal the day before was done with military precision, and the wedding itself was entirely without unexpected complications. Our coordinator was very active in the background to make sure things went smoothly, and we were never asked to make a decision during the wedding itself. The only negative point we'd make is that our coordinator, as part of being hyper-efficient, was quite brusque with some of our guests and rubbed some family members the wrong way. It felt like the ruthless efficiency did put a little bit of a damper on what was otherwise a lovely day. This may have been a one-off, or perhaps our goals were not communicated as clearly as they could have been, but it's worth considering the personality fit up front as it will influence your memory of the wedding day.

t job on our wedding day and our rehearsal. They ensured everything went smoothly for our wedding. Everything was perfectly executed! Highly recommend booking WDBT for your wedding!

planning process!! She knew all the questions to ask that I would have never thought of. I was nervous handing over everything for someone to set up to my reception vision and she made everything perfect! The communication ahead of time even though she was only hired for day-off was fantastic and I was so thankful for it! I would highly recommend to anyone!

Katie made the whole experience WAY less stressful. We started working with her about 6-7 months out and she helped us organize everything from decorations to the order of the processional to the logistics of the day and so much more. She also kept us on track to make sure we were hitting deadlines and in the last few months she took over managing our vendors, which was a huge weight lifted off our chests. One of the most challenging parts of planning a wedding is the thousands of details and logistics and it is so helpful to have someone like Katie who GETS it and will help you iron out everything. She is incredibly responsive and answered every single one of our many many many questions. Not only was she incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding - but she was AMAZING on the day. If anything went wrong we had no idea because Katie handled everything!!! She even put up all of our decorations and packed them up at the end of the night. She made sure we always had food and drinks. Not only that, but she truly shared in the excitement of our day which makes it so fun. We were so happy with Katie - so hire White Dress Black Tie for your wedding!!! You will not be disappointed.

verything still handled by them. They handled all my vendor communication when we had to find a new venue just 6 weeks before the wedding date. She coordinated all the changes and transitions and arranged everything for me on the day of. I couldn’t have asked for more!! I’m forever grateful for their time and help.

cts that I had not thought about. They were able to do a lot of the communication with our vendors closer to our wedding day which helped take a lot of stress off of me as I was working full time. If I were to go back, I would've hired them sooner in the wedding process to ease my stress even further. On the wedding day, Katie and Astoria were good about checking in with myself and my husband to make sure everything was going smoothly. All of my family noted how hard they were working to make everything go perfect. We had to a minor hiccup with the bar and they were able to resolve it immediately. Not only, were they super professional, but they are also very very nice. As someone who like to be in control of a lot of things, I was more than happy to hand over the reins to Katie because I knew my wedding was in good hands. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone getting married. Katie was exceptional!

quickly add up, so we decided to do a day of wedding coordinator rather than a wedding planner. Despite this, Veronica was there to answer any/all of the questions I had during my planning (from a year out to months later). She gave the best insight and advice that made the planning process much easier, right from the start. Closer to the wedding we were put in contact with Karen Merchant, who ended up being our coordinator on the day of our wedding. Karen is simply phenomenal! She is very knowledgeable and her experience made her an expert when it came to assisting us with all of the details leading up to our big day. When it came to the details that I wasn’t sure how to execute, she was super helpful and took the reins. Despite intermittent showers on my wedding day, Karen worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Their pricing is so reasonable, and they truly go above and beyond. Added bonus, they started providing floral services and Veronica made sure my flowers looked gorgeous (despite me not knowing what exactly I wanted in terms of flowers). Book them now! You will not be disappointed.

in! Veronica was very quick to respond to us and was accommodating to our many questions and adjustments we made along the way. She was very organized and did a good job at coordinating with our other vendors. We had the most perfect wedding day and thanks to WDBT, it all went smoothly!

I came to White Dress Black Tie and was connected with Karen. Karen’s attention to detail was impressive and just what I needed to feel assured the day would go smooth. She had spreadsheets, layouts and schedules weeks beforehand for our review to ensure everyone was on the same page and our vision was executed just how we wanted. She attended the rehearsal and ensured all our questions were answered. The day of Karen kept me on time, ensured all vendors were on track, and helped finish the decor set up. She even sent photos to ensure it was exactly what I had envisioned so there were no surprises. Most importantly Karen was calm and collected the entire night, even with minor last min changes, which kept me calm and ensured I had a flawless night. I cannot recommend Karen and White Dress Black Tie enough!!

he is organized, easy to communicate with, thoughtful, and had great attention-to-detail. She is also such a wonderful and supportive individual who guided me throughout the entire process with her calm and friendly demeanor. In the weeks and days leading up to the wedding, it became clear that I needed someone to help me get everything in order. My goal was to find someone who was responsive, receptive and goal-oriented. From our first meeting, it was clear that she would be that person to exceed your expectations. She was just very organized, predictive, and really keen to all of the tricky things that may pop up with planning a wedding for over 200 guests. She worked well with our vendors and took the time to reach out to and follow up with each and every vendor. Overall, our wedding day was simply better than I could have ever imagined. Despite it raining due to a hurricane, Katie went above and beyond to give us and our guests such an awesome experience. From our end, things went smoothly and she kept it completely fun and relaxed. We cannot thank her enough for all of the behind-the-scenes preparations that she did to make sure it was a success. You will not regret going with Katie at WDBT for your wedding. Thank you for what was truly an incredible day, and yes, we would recommend her to everyone we know getting married in the future!

! She anticipated our needs and got it done!! I highly recommend Veronica and her team! She was so great at our wedding, my brother in law and his fiancé decided to book with her as well!

ly. I loved that WDBT is familiar with many of the vendors in this area and it made me feel very reassured. The weeks before she communicated with me a ton and made me feel like everything was truly taken care of. Their master planner and questionnaire that they send you had everything you could think of. If I'm being honest, by 3-4 days out, I felt like I should have been doing stuff but everything was done and ready to go! I just got to sit back and enjoy the time before! A lot of people might think they don't need a coordinator because they're very organized, etc. But let me tell you, you do. It was so nice to just have them handle everything the day of because wedding planning often can feel very isolating and overwhelming. I highly recommend WBDT! They were organized, efficient, friendly, professional and even had a whole lot of rentals to choose from. I wish them a ton of success!

ronica help us navigate the situation but she went above and beyond, reaching out to our vendors and helping us determine a postponement date and plan—something that was certainly not required by our contract. Throughout the planning process, Veronica was extremely professional, organized, helpful, and responsive. I knew I could contact her with any questions and get an honest and timely response. As our wedding got closer, we decided to add on rental decor items, such as candles, signs, card box, etc. through WDBT. I loved that WDBT offered these items because it gave me one less thing to worry about. It was so nice not having to buy boxes of candles and décor only to be stuck with them afterwards. Veronica and I discussed my vision and she executed perfectly on the wedding day. On the day itself not only did everything look amazing, but the day went SO smoothly—just as every bride wants. Veronica kept our entire wedding day right on schedule and nothing felt rushed. We also loved that immediately after our ceremony Veronica made sure we had our specialty drinks in hand as cocktail hour began. The whole day went perfectly, thanks to Veronica and the WDBT team! Without a doubt, Veronica and the WDBT team were the MVPs of our wedding!

was even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Veronica was incredibly professional, thorough and responded to every little question I had within moments. Please do yourself a favor and hire WDBT to help you say, "fantastic!" (and mean it!) when everyone starts asking "how's your wedding planning coming along?"

ith the timeline and corradiated the timeline with all my vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding. This was very helpful and saved me a lot of time while I was wrapping up all the other items related to the wedding. She was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire wedding process (not just the month of) whenever I had any questions. I loved working with Veronica and her team, and I highly recommend!! Our wedding day was perfect and went smoothly without a worry from the bride and groom.

of coordination and they were worth EVERY single penny. Veronica and Keeley were amazing to work with from start to finish. Even though we only had the day-of services, they started coordinating with me a number of weeks in advance. Leading up to the wedding, they helped get every wedding day detail organized, coordinated schedules and helped create a very detailed day-of wedding timeline. If you are type-A, they will absolutely help execute your wedding day flawlessly. If you are indecisive, they will provide advice, guidance and options to help nail your vision down. Keeley was so kind, answered all emails in a timely manner and was patient in answering a ton of my questions. On the day of our wedding Veronica and Keeley executed everything perfectly and professionally. I felt so calm and relaxed because I was THAT confident that I was in great hands. They worked their butts off all night to make sure no detail was missed. We received so many compliments about how well they worked under pressure and how amazing they were in coordinating everything. We had an issue with one of our vendors and Veronica was on the phone with the owner of the company right away to solve the issue without having to bother me with the details. WDBT was the best and we cannot recommend them enough! Do not wait to hire them!!

do their job-I believe Veronica is one of those people. Veronica was our favorite vendor and made the entire wedding day go off without a hitch. We had a fairly large venue with lots of moving parts and somehow, Veronica made everything work so smoothly. She is organized, direct, and passionate; all of our other vendors mentioned how impressed they were by her. She always responded so quickly to my emails (trust me there was A LOT of questions on my end) and provided guidance/advice for the entire year leading up to the wedding (we hired her as “month of coordinator”). On top of being super professional, Veronica was so sweet and encouraging at the venue walk through, rehearsal day, and entire wedding day. She made me feel so calm and 100% taken care of. We cannot thank her enough for the hard work, effort, and commitment she had from our very first phone call. If you are anywhere close to the northern Virginia area, I would recommend Veronica as your wedding planner in a heartbeat <3 (We also worked with her assistant Keeley who was fabulous as well!)

a bunch of random decorations. They were so delightfully on top of everything and structured leading up to the wedding, but also flexible with us on the things that we weren't sure about. In hindsight, I wish we had hired them to do more of the planning to take some of the stress off of us, so not only would I pick them again, but I would use them even more!

al, creating a timeline and floor plan. Throughout the year she was also always there to answer any questions or give advice. Unbelievable value for everything we received and they have rental items now which came in really handy!

nce and knowledge about event planning. She was also extremely helpful in organizing the vendors and coordinating everyone's schedules. We are still amazed at how many details she was able to keep track of! Our day would not have been as smooth as it was without her guidance. We recommend Brice and White Dress Black Tie to any couple as she and the team are some of the most helpful tools to use when planning and orchestrating a wedding!

us. On the day of our wedding, I felt truly relaxed and everything just happened seamlessly and perfectly. We ended up also renting some decor through them and we're so happy we did! Their prices for rentals were great compared to what we were seeing online and everything looked amazing. We cannot recommend WDBT enough!!

y. Brice has been amazing all through the process--particularly as we had to keep adjusting our plans because of COVID. We were lucky enough to have an intimate ceremony at our original venue in March and can't wait to work with WDBT again for our larger reception in August. Brice made sure we planned every detail was covered, from our photo table to flowers, and even reached out to our reception vendors to help us reschedule. Having both Veronica and Brice at the wedding on the day was incredible, they made sure everything worked just as planned--down to helping when we didn't know how to put on a boutonniere. I'd 100% recommend a day-of coordinator as a must. And you'd be lucky to have the WDBT team on your side for the big day.

ly daunting. The first time I spoke with Veronica, I could tell she was incredibly organized, creative, and easy to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable and well-connected and was instrumental in our being able to stay within our budget and my needs. Throughout the planning process, Veronica had ingenious ideas for how we could make the ceremony memorable while still keeping costs low. She remembered myriad details that would not have known to plan for on my own. Additionally, she emotionally supportive throughout the planning process leading up to the day itself! Day-of coordination went flawlessly! Veronica & Kim had everything perfectly organized so that I did not have to worry about a single thing! After the ceremony, a number of guests came up to us and asked who the wedding planner was because they were so impressed with how smoothly everything went. I cannot recommend Veronica's company enough! They were a God send! I ***highly*** recommend hiring White Dress Black Tie for all of your wedding planning & day of coordination needs!!

f all I had total confidence in Veronica-I never worried a moment about details. It was clear from early on that she “HAD THIS!” She is incredibly experienced and returned our emails within 15 min on average- for months! From the moment we hired her she was invaluable in planning and staying in touch with and coordinating with all vendors. She thought of everything including lots we never would have thought of. I got her name from a friend who used her and had the same experience. We HIGHLY recommend her!!

ee the entire day because I knew I was in good hands. Various people from my wedding party and venue staff made comments about how well everything was executed and how easy it was to work with the White Dress Black Tie coordinators. It was easily one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. Overall, I would highly recommend White Dress Black Tie for any coordination needs!

ime I emailed Veronica, she answered right away and hit every point of my sometimes very lengthy emails. Her organization and thoroughness really impressed me. I'm a big picture type of person. Veronica really helped me make sure the little things were covered with layouts and minute to minute timelines. Day of, she worked with ease and class. I've told my husband everyday since our wedding, I can't believe people get married without someone like Veronica! I'm typically a very anxious person but I knew Veronica was so good at her craft that I was able to relax and enjoy our day to the fullest. I truly believe that hiring White Dress Black Tie was the best money we spent for our wedding. You certainly won't regret working with them!!
