venue. Our wedding was this past summer at Kingwood Center in Mansfield. Wes was great from the start when working with our schedule. I knew the hardest part was gathering both of our families for group photos, and Wes was fantastic at making everyone feel at ease, coordinating, and getting pictures done quickly so family could move on to the reception. I heard so many compliments from our families about how relaxed, friendly, and timely Wes was with photos. My husband and I had a somewhat tight schedule to get couple’s photos before reception, but Wes got it all done and more! We love our photos and can’t recommend Wes enough...you won’t be disappointed!

He also helped before the wedding to come up with a timeline and talk about any specific photos we may have wanted. Leading up to the wedding, Wes was responsive and helpful providing input on timelines and how the photo sessions should flow. But even more important, on the wedding day he kept us on time but remained flexible in the mad-rush of the day. I am very type A when it comes to schedules, but Wes was perfect because he was relaxed and assured me we were moving along. As for his photography skills, we LOVE our photos. I remember when we first talked to Wes he described his style as photo journalism, that was right on. Our wedding photos tell a story, from the first snap to the last, we can relieve the whole day and all those moments flipping through the photos. He captured small candid moments, but was also excellent at directing a shoot (and making sure hair was in place and hands were in pockets). So happy with our experience with Wes and the photos we received!

I liked how he brings another photographer with to the wedding to ensure that every moment is captured. He did a great job working with a cloudy day with my first daughter and the pictures look like it was a beautiful day and he expertly worked with my second daughter's venue which had back lighting with light coming in the windows and they turned out beautiful as well. I will plan to call him when the next 2 get married!

ok, etc. The photos were beautiful and the poses were great too. I don't think he ever took a break from taking photos. He was very patient. My sister did a sparkler picture at the end of the night and he did a great job! Wes is very accommodating and his assistant did a great job with photos too and taking different angles. Wes took great angles and a balance of close ups, group photos, and all the important moments of the night. Great experience! We loved the photos that he posted in the online album. Wes is a keeper!

Very sociable, friendly, and easy to get along with for the day. Never seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people. He is open to what you want your pictures to be if you have specifics and when you don't have much clue he does great with creating ideas and backdrops for you! His partner did a wonderful job as well!! Great duo I would highly recommend!

and emotions in everyone. He took beautiful pictures of the Greek wedding ceremony and there are many moments he could have missed during the 45 min. ceremony, but he did not miss anything. Wes blended in and was not in the front blocking the view for others. He was able to get great shots, but was not in the way as I have seen from other photographers. During the reception he was able to get great shots of the Greek dancing and all the first dances and different angles of the speeches. Loved that he also got closeups of the guests as the speeches were going on. He took many angles, all of which were wonderful. The angles of the tablescapes were fabulous too. The colors in the picture were beautiful and crystal clear. Wes was tops from the moment he arrived till the last picture was taken. We were so happy when we saw the wedding pictures on his site. He certainly has a good eye for capturing the happiness of the day.

to the church, Uptown Westerville and and Jorgensons Farm, the photographs are priceless and show how much fun the bride, groom and entire wedding party had with Wes. Every photo is in black and white and also color which was so awesome to see the difference. It will be hard to choose a favorite! I highly recommend Wes if you are looking for a great profession phothotographer.

efore the wedding and he was able to set some time aside some time to meet with us at the church. He spoke to the priest about the best possible way to capture the ceremony - from the crowning, exchanging of the rings, etc. He then went to the reception site to check out the lighting at the Hilton Easton. I was impressed that he took such an interest in taking time out of his weekend to meet us at the church and then went on his own on to the reception. Wes not only captured every important ceremony detail, he took beautiful portrait/posed pictures at the . church as well. He did not miss anything. Wes captured not only the poses and all the details he captured the emotions of the day. The emotions that showed in the faces of the bride and groom, parents, and our guests were unbelievable. Smiles, laughter, and serious moments were all there!! Wes moved in such a way that you did not even know he was taking the photos. In fact, I wondered after the wedding if he took some of the photos I so wanted. He did and then some! For the reception he captured the greek traditional dances in motion. He is such a calm person. My daughter would ask him if he had enough time for this or that, and he said we had plenty of time and not to worry. His mannerism is so calming, which is a plus on such an emotional day. His assistant took great pictures as well and I never noticed her in the room either. I can not say enough about Wes. I hope to use Wes for my younger daughter when she gets married in the future too. Wes did a great job especially as this was his first greek wedding. He did not miss any of the symbolism in the wedding ceremony nor did he miss any of the reception moments that I wanted him to capture. My daughter wanted the sparkler with the heart before he left for the evening and that came out great as well to top of the evening. What impressed me the most was the emotions that he captured from the church to the reception! had good lighting for our pictures. We also wanted to get a lot of pictures with our pup before the wedding, and Wes did a great job working with our dog and getting her to look for the pictures. All of our shots turned out fantastic - both the posed ones and the candid ones, and we got access to all our photos online very promptly 3 weeks after our wedding (I have had friends who wait months for pictures!). Extremely happy with Wes' work and professionalism and I would highly recommend him to any other couples!

knew my search was over. I had read every single Knot review on Wes before booking him, and I am happy to say my experience was just as great as everyone else's. Wes was very comfortable to shoot with, both during the engagement session and wedding day. My bridal party and I have never met a more laid-back photographer--I've told many people that it felt like Wes was a good family friend who was shooting our wedding instead of someone we had only met once before. His clear passion for his job and excitement for us as a couple really added to the fun of the day--you can tell he loves not only his job but also interacting with his clients and bridal parties. Our photos (all 2470!) came back quicker than we ever expected and were beautiful and timeless. I did ask Wes if it was possible to slightly change the lighting in a few inside pictures, and he made the change very quickly --he really takes pride in his work and wants his brides to be 110% satisfied, which I can happily say I am. Despite my husband and I moving across the country next month, I feel like I'd fly back for family photos or maternity shots (one day down the road!!) just to see Wes and have him take our photos again. Beautiful, high-quality pictures and products (albums, slideshow, smartphone app) + quick turn around + great, nice guy + very reasonably priced/great value...look no further!! My husband is shy, but had no problem relating with Wes, especially about sports. It was easy to contact Wes, set up meetings, and get advice from him. Wes did both our engagement and wedding photos. His photos are bright, vibrant, and filled with so much life. He truly knows how to capture the beauty of marriage. He is passionate about his work and does not hesitate to help you pose or fix your hair/tie/etc, but still allowing you to do your own thing and have fun. Our friends enjoyed working with him as well - he is so easy to joke with. For his talent and the gorgeous photos he produces, his prices are very reasonable. I hope to work with Wes again in the future for family photos, but in the meantime, I will be recommending him to everyone.
