elt too big or too small. I also loved being able to bounce ideas off her - she always gave thoughtful, honest feedback and helped us make decisions with confidence. Since we live out of state, having Samantha as our boots on the ground was invaluable. She helped put together all of our little details and accessories, picked up things we needed locally, which made the entire planning process much easier. And on the wedding day she truly went above and beyond. She handled last-minute decor changes, battled the wind to make sure everything stayed in place, and took care of so many little details behind the scenes so that we could just enjoy ourselves. Everything came together beautifully, and we felt so well taken care of. If we could do it all over again, we’d hire Samantha a thousand times over. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone planning a wedding in Utah. She’s the best!

s so overjoyed and RELAXED because I knew all of our communications were so beyond thorough that we were good to go! Wedding Expectations (and having Meghann) was the best choice we made during our wedding planning, and I could not recommend you guys enough!!! Meghann was the BEST coordinator I could ever imagine. My family raved about her and her kindness, professionalism, and organization. I am so beyond grateful for her!!!!

I worked with Wedding Expectations for both planning and floral services for our wedding in Park City, UT and had a great experience across both services, I would recommend them to...

anyone planning a wedding in Utah! Planning - Samantha was fantastic at helping us plan and execute our wedding. She was timely in her communication throughout the entire process - she always responded to my emails within 1-2 days and was always available to jump on a call to talk about whatever I needed to discuss. I also thought all of the vendors she recommended were very high quality, which was critical for us because we were planning this wedding from out of state. She is also detail oriented and calm, which are two qualities that are critical for this job! On the day of our wedding, Samantha took care of everything in terms of vendor arrivals, set up, and tear down. She even handed out blankets to our guests when it started to get chilly in the evening! Floral - I was extremely impressed with the florals that Wedding Expectations did for us. The style that I requested was somewhat unique and was a bit different from most of the pictures that Wedding Expectations had on their website (less greenery than normal and somewhat whimsical, for example). Despite the more unique design, the W.E. team really listened to what I was looking for and executed wonderfully. Rebecca also made some suggestions during the design process about certain flower types to add and remove which also really improved the outcome. Lastly, when it was raining during our wedding day set up, the W.E. team ensured the outdoor flowers were not damaged.

I had such a great experience with Wedding Expectations. I worked with Rebecca a little bit at the beginning then began working with Angela. Angela was very responsive and patient ...

with all of my emails and questions. Her and her assistant, Keslee, set everything up exactly the way I had imagined. It was such a huge stress relief knowing that they would be taking care of all the details and directing everyone on the wedding day. I was truly able to enjoy my wedding day because of these two. I would happily recommend them to anyone! I also worked with Melissa, lead floral designer, who helped me make some last-minute changes and she nailed what I had envisioned. I also really appreciated using Aisle Planner to be able to track all of the details, vendors, budget, etc. Such a fantastic experience! I wish I could live the day all over again!

I cannot say enough good things about Rebecca, Meghann, and this company. My wedding far exceeded my hopes and dreams, and I owe all the credit of that achievement to Wedding Expec...

tations. We communicated often and in great detail. Any and all questions I had were answered and any problems were sorted out quickly. The planning leading up to the wedding was an unbelievable amount of work, but these ladies handled it with grace and professionalism. Wedding Expectations handled nearly every aspect of my wedding, from tablecloths and napkin folds to flower arrangements and seating charts. Every single detail was coordinated. They spoke regularly with outside vendors and the venue, often juggling several lines of communication simultaneously. The day-of coordination was out of this world. I have no doubt Meghann would have brought me the moon if I had asked for it. My wedding went off without a hitch. It was the best day of my life, and I owe it all to Wedding Expectations. From the depths of my soul, thank you Rebecca and Meghann!! If you have no idea where to start with planning your wedding, and you're feeling a bit overwhelmed, you've found the right people to help guide you towards your happily ever after.

nator Skyli was literally the best thing on my wedding day other than my husband. Her and her assistant Megan were absolute perfection. They made the day run sooo smoothly and did everything to make our day stress free and beautiful. I cannot say enough about them. They made my dream vision come to life at our gorgeous venue and fixed any hiccups that came along without us feeling stressed at all. The made the whole day flow perfectly. All of the decor we brought was packed up perfectly and put into the vehicles they came in and we could just leave knowing everything was taken care of. Skyli & Megan are two of the sweetest and caring people that make you feel so special and take such good care of you, your guests and your vendors. The communication with all my vendors was done so perfectly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Attention to detail, communication, and just everything was so on point. Rebecca from Wedding Expectations made my floral dreams come true with all bouquets, boutonnières, arch pieces and the most amazing flower crown that made me feel like the most beautiful ethereal goddess. I am just so in awe of this company and highly highly recommend them to anyone. Not to mention they even do rentals which I used for a few things and those were just perfect and easy to pick out on their website. Forever grateful!!!

was not stressed at all on the wedding day knowing Megan was there to help! Everything went fantastically. We also utilized Wedding Expectation's floral service. Rebecca Thomas is amazing! I cannot say how helpful it was to have planning and decor/florals under one roof. Megan and Rebecca communicated frequently and executed my wedding vision perfectly. Everyone was on the same page and I never had to worry. My wedding florals turned out EXACTLY like my inspiration photos. This company is such a great value! 100% recommend.

ing planner was Megan Gadd. She was incredibly calm, good natured, and very professional. I honestly didn't worry at all about decorations on the day, because I knew Megan, her assistant, and the florist Rebecca Thomas, had it handled. I trusted them completely. The ballroom looked absolutely gorgeous when we entered for our reception. They took care of things I didn't even think about like making sure we always had drinks during photos and socializing and making sure cards and gifts were safe and sound. If you want a calm, smooth wedding Megan will make it happen!

While some couples decide to go without a wedding planner opting to have one makes things so so much easier. Our original videographer bailed on us last minute and luckily we were ...

able to find an amazing videographer quickly with Rebecca’s help (Wedding Expectations). Not only are they reasonably priced, they are full service. For the most part, we did opted to pick out our own vendors but they had a great list to choose from. We talked over zoom a handful of times and Rebecca was able to keep things organized and even helped us plan stuff we hadn’t really thought through. Ultimately they made the wedding a breeze. People are usually stressed in the weeks coming up to the wedding but everything was sorted out and we didn’t have to worry about things the day of. They have many packages that fit all types of budgets and they have a lot of equipment/decor you can rent. We highly recommend Wedding Expectations!!

I decided to hire Rebecca pre-covid for my wedding scheduled on 5/23/20. It was going to be a destination wedding in Park City, so I really needed to have a wedding planner in the...

state to help with variety of things. She was without a doubt so great helping me decide on vendors and all the details. Anytime I called her she made me feel so much better and my anxiety went away, and she was ALWAYS available! Then Covid happened.. and I can honestly say without them I am not sure if I would have gone through with an actual wedding! She stayed with me through every step, from wedding being cancelled to rescheduling a venue and all my vendors she honestly did everything! Also the day of the wedding could not have been more perfect. we got married on 9/4/20, smaller wedding. She decorated perfectly and did our floral which was amazing, people are still talking about it! She made it look like a perfect pinterest wedding! She also made sure every detail was accounted for, and my day was completely stress free from start to finish! hiring them was by far the BEST decision I made. I am so thankful for having such a wonderful day and they played a HUGE role in that! I will forever be thankful!

d was always available by e-mail and phone. I had lots of ideas for decorations and flowers but had a hard time putting my "vision" together. She was able to define that vision with some discussion and pintrest images and everything really came together for us exactly how we wanted it! We especially loved our floral arrangements- she came up with multiple different centerpiece ideas and we got so many compliments on them! It was invaluable to have a planner there the day of our wedding and I felt like all we had to do on the day of was show up and enjoy our day! At one point after dancing, a piece of lace on my dress began to come loose and she had a little emergency kit that was able to get the dress back together- wedding dress disaster avoided. We had a wonderful wedding day that we will remember forever. Thank you Rebecca!

Miranda did such an amazing job! I am so happy we decided to hire a wedding planner because it made the months leading up to the wedding so much easier, and I didn't have to worry ...

about a thing the day of. The venue was decorated beautifully and Miranda handled everything that came up - and even sent her assistant back to our hotel when someone forgot to bring the favors. She was so friendly and encouraging during the planning process and made great recommendations for vendors and decorations that fit with our theme and budget. She did this all while planning her own wedding (among other clients) and I never even knew the difference because she was so personal and organized. We had a perfect wedding day and we couldn't have done it without Miranda and her team!

en a few weeks before the wedding we had a long phone call to discuss all of the details. Rebecca was very thorough and asked good questions in advance. She coordinated with our other vendors as needed and attended the rehearsal to make sure she knew the plan. Wedding day went great, no issues came up that I am aware of, and she handled everything without asking me any questions! The whole day flowed perfectly. Most importantly, Rebecca provided me with all of the last minute help and the peace of mind that I needed. One example - the week before the wedding we needed a sweetheart table and tablecloth that we initially thought another vendor would provide, I freaked out, then emailed Rebecca, and she just handled it. She was always kind, responsive, on top of things, and a pleasure to work with.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Hiring Rebecca/Wedding Expectations was the single worst decision I made when planning my wedding. I was initially interested in her company because of the lowe...

r fees, but I certainly got what I paid for. She was unorganized & unprofessional. She gave a lot of reassurance (aka “lip service”) that things would come together, but she never came through on her responsibilities. I had my doubts about her abilities, so I literally did her job for her—I typed out every single detail of the wedding decor for her (where the cake should go, how many candles per table, etc.). She blatantly disregarded it all. Not only did it look like she just threw the decor together, but my guests actually arrived before the ceremony was even set up. Having her at the wedding was additionally stressful because I was constantly asking her to do her job and keep things organized. She did not keep the wedding/dinner/reception on schedule (a timeline that I provided for her). I paid extra for her to bring along “assistants,” though she solicited my wedding party to pack things up and take down the venue at the end of the night. The most egregious part is the fact that she threw away thousands and thousands of dollars worth of flowers (including my bridal bouquet!) despite being told by multiple people that we were saving all the flowers. I would never, ever recommend anyone to work with this company.
