This team is above all else! From the moment of booking them to my trial, wedding and everything in between, VogaBeauty KILLED IT. They brought the energy, the vibes and made sure ...
all of my girls felt comfortable, confident and beautiful. Despite all of my girls having very different hair textures, styling preferences and makeup preferences the team was able to accommodate everyone and not only finish on time, but finish EARLY (rare in the HMU world.) If you are looking for a wedding HMU artist team that are truly artists, this is the team to book!
I booked VogaBeauty for my wedding day makeup (bride, bridesmaids, & MOB) and hair (Bride). My makeup was absolutely beautiful and lasted all day, and my hair looked perfect with s...
oft, elegant curls. Shajara & Meagan arrived right on time and made the whole process stress-free.
Things went badly from the very beginning. We started our search well before the wedding, but of the 30 hair/makeup vendors we contacted, Voga was the ONLY vendor available on our ...
date. There was a good reason for that.
Thank God we did a trial run. The makeup artist and hair stylist that did my daughter's trial were not any of the people from "The Team" you see on Voga's website. From the girls' conversation with each other, we could tell that they were VERY recent beauty school graduates and it showed. Our wedding planner was able to find us a different vendor for hair and we crossed our fingers that Voga's makeup artist would do a better job on the wedding day, but then she abruptly quit. Voga offered us a new trial with a new team, but we no longer had any confidence in this company.
We are so grateful that our wedding planner was able to pull some strings and find us a new vendor for both hair and makeup at the last minute - Be Pretty. They did a fabulous job and my daughter looked absolutely gorgeous on her big day.
All Voga did for us was a trial which revealed two very inexperienced stylists. They offered us a new trial which we turned down. We lost more than $1500. I don't know for sure but suspect that they continue to take on new brides even when their team is already fully booked. Then they hire from the beauty schools for stylists to fill in. I hate losing the $1500 but will be eternally grateful that we didn't get stuck with Voga on the wedding day.

Not only did they make me feel beautiful, but they also did an incredible job on my sister, mom, and mother-in-law. Each of us had different styles in mind, and the team tailored the looks perfectly for everyone. We were all so happy with the results!
Ladiamond and Bydia were my stylists. They were both a lot of fun to talk to and very professional and made me feel beautiful. If you’re looking for a team that’s professional, talented, and attentive, I highly recommend Voga Beauty for your wedding hair and makeup needs!

Shajara and Asia were so friendly, and prompt in their responses, and made me feel comfortable. My sister is getting married next year, and I will definitely hire them again.
They claim they work in the Rochester, NY area, and have a team here - I’m not fully convinced this is the case and they didn’t just hire someone random to do our first trial.

warning to brides out there is to do a trial before you sign any contract. It is worth it to pay an extra $200 to know the vendors you’re hiring meet the quality of service you expect. We were not given this luxury and my trial was after a date in which I could not get a refund or reduce my services because of this I am out $3000. I did end up firing them.
Their only saving grace is they tried to make my first horrible trial right with a second one with different artist. But they really didn’t meet the expectations with the price they were at.
I have provided photos of my vision first and second trials for your reference.
