My fiancé and I stumbled upon Viridian at a Wedding Expo earlier this year. We were having a destination wedding in Cape Town (my fiancé is from there!) so we didn’t think we would...
have many vendors that we could use. We were having a 5 month engagement so an engagement shoot was also not in the picture - yet! Then we met Orlando who showed us a beautiful picture book of their work. While we did not get to chat with Lissette so much at the expo, we were immediately connected when we won an engagement shoot with them! The professionalism mixed with enthusiasm for their chosen line of work was evident. They traveled in town to Atlanta and followed us around some of our favorite spots in Little 5 Points. We even had our pup join some of the photos (he stole the show, as Lisette said!). Lissette said the photo review session would take about an 1.5 hour which was spot on. She was patient as we narrowed down our decisions and then walked us through package options. She gave subtle opinions but really let us talk it out based on our gut feeling. We ended up ordering a guest book to take to Cape Town and one of the wall photos of our favorite portrait. While the results speak for themselves, the duo of Lissette and Orlando made it special. We were lucky to have them as part of our wedding journey!

Orlando put in so much effort and passion into our session. My fiancé and I have never had professional photos done before, but they made us feel so comfortable that it felt more like having fun and hanging out than taking photos. My favorite part of the experience is that since Lissette and Orlando are married, they have a very friendly "competition" over who can get the best shots, and it felt like they genuinely were working to getting the best images possible. Their dynamic was really cool and they each played off the other's strengths.
They worked with a mix of photo styles, so we had lots of different options to pick from too. Some styles were more traditional while others were editorial or artsy, and this gave us a really cool selection to pick from.
The pictures themselves were gorgeous! They all were incredibly high quality, had perfect lighting, and captured our emotions so well I couldn't even believe I was looking at a photo of myself and my fiance.
I would highly recommend working with Viridian for engagement or wedding photos! The whole process from start to finish was incredible, and we are so so so excited about our photos!

So artistic and different than anything we have seen before. Their duo is magic, they feed off each other's ideas, and as a couple themselves, they made us feel so comfortable. First off, the photos are amazing, focused on the people and the experience, a wonderful way to relive the wedding, but they are also creative and artistic.

- As a husband and wife team, they work in harmony throughout the wedding.
- They are everywhere but hardly noticed, not the least bit distracting and yet, after viewing the photos, you realize they were there for everything.
- They really got to know my daughter and her wonderful now husband in advance, especially during the engagement photos we did in the park near our house and because of that, the photos really seem to capture their personalities and the personalities of all their family and friends in their pictures.

per nervous having never been in front of the camera (especially in this capacity), but they made us both feel so comfortable and beautiful. They guided us the whole way through and were so patient as we did our best to follow instruction. When we arrived it was raining which completely bummed me out. However, as soon as it stopped these two jumped into action and made the very best of a soggy situation. They went above and beyond to get the best shots (including laying on the wet ground, and climbing on top of things), and were so creative and innovative. Our time together was filled with fun, and they knew exactly what to do to get a smile on our faces. We were so impressed and are incredibly grateful for the entire experience.

on a tight budget for our wedding, however I entered a contest for a free engagement shoot and thought nothing of it. To my surprise about a week later I received a call saying I won. I was very suspect for these types of offers as the generally come with some sort of catch either we had to book them for our our actual wedding or we had to reserve a time slot, that sort of thing. They assured us that was not the case and we ended up taking out pictures near Piedmont Park, a few weeks later our digital portfolio was ready and on top of them looking absolutely great, they told us we had access to download all of the shots without the water mark, that's it! no catch and a free engagement shoot that definitely looked like we paid good money. ision was the best I made. Orlando and Lissette did both our engagement and wedding photos, and this is haveh down what I would recommend for everyone, as it provides a high level of comfort for thet wedding day in terms of what to expect and our engagement with the photographers.
Lissette and Orlando are very flexible, and they take the time to understand what you want or need. They met with us three times: once before the engagement shoot, once before the wedding, and once on site a week before the wedding to check out the spots for the photoshoot (this helped tremendously with the timeline!) We never felt rushed - quite the opposite they made us feel like a million bucks. They are able to guide you so they can get your best while making you feel great about yourself.
And of course, the end product. The photos are amazing, and they take the time to review all your feedback for editing. Our engagement album was the signature book at our wedding and I got so many compliments on it from our guests. And our wedding album is out of this world... It really is a piece of art.

s the occasion, I think it is near impossible to not have photographers capture the moments of that day, especially in my case with my fiancé, now wife, feeling the complete opposite about pictures than I do. With all that said...my experience with Orlando and Lissette was beyond satisfactory! Given my feelings towards taking photos, they both made the experience very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable with it. I’m not one good with posing, but when they would ask me to pose a certain way for a certain shot, they would then explain the effect the pose would have on the picture, which made it understandable for me and helped me get more into it. I love knowing how and why things are done certain ways and so getting a small insight towards how they take their shots just made the whole experience more interesting and fun for me. And the advantage of them being a couple also makes the experience more enjoyable as you get the perspective and understanding of both sides for both the male and female. They’re both great people who you’ll enjoy doing your sessions with and you can’t go wrong in choosing them. The pictures and the shots/angles that they take is also very high quality and superior work. All in all, I was/am very pleased for everything they did for both our engagement session and wedding. And given that my wife loves taking pictures, I know next time we have another special/important occasion that she’ll want to capture, we will definitely want to use them again!
