room we dined in had such a lovely atmosphere with gorgeous, tall windows. We could vividly remember causally chatting about how lovely it would be to have a wedding at Vic's. The atmosphere was chic, charming and our Southern brunch experience left us with the fantasy of having our dream wedding at Vic's in the future! (Being that we are both hospitality professionals, causally talking about events is a normal occurrence or us. Talking about milestone events such as a wedding was nothing out of the ordinary either!) After my fiance proposed in 2019, it only felt right to both of us that we host our wedding in Savannah at Vic's. The Southern charm of Savannah is inviting, and uniquely unlike other destinations. It was a no-brainer to make our wedding destination for our family and friends Savannah, GA and to host our reception at Vic's! We currently live in Central Florida and planning an out of state wedding was effortless with Joey & Justyna. What an amazing dynamic duo they are! I never worried about a single detail, and they truly went above and beyond at all times. Our guests raved about the food, service, and venue views of the Savannah River. Throughout planning our wedding, I made friends with my vendors. We emailed often and every trip to Savannah, we could not help ourselves from stopping in to view our gorgeous space and to see our peeps. We will always value Joey, Justyna and Vic's for making our wedding unforgettable and for being a very special part of our journey as husband and wife. We already can't wait to go back to Savannah just to say hello to our friends at Vic's, and to eat our favorite Oysters Rockefeller! :)

'm so glad we did. The ambiance of the venue is gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for to our daughter's elegant, romantic and vintage themed affair. The warm antique hardwood floors, creamy neutral walls and amazingly beautiful pineapple light fixtures were beautiful enough, but then the view of the river and bridge sealed the deal for us. The only one who was local to Savannah was our daughter, but because she's military she was rarely available to meet with all the vendors so communicating with Justyna and Joey and our wedding planner were crucial to us in being able to pull this event off. Justyna and Joey immediately put our hearts at ease and helped us with every detail of our daughter's vision. We chose a traditional southern menu since all our guests were coming from out west and we knew embracing all of Savannah's southern charm would be the best way to "treat" them to a true southern wedding. We also chose the macaroni balls with tabasco sauce (AMAZING), shrimp and grit skewers (I didn't try one but all the guests loved them) and andouille sausage and pineapple skewers (so good) for hors d'oeuvres. They were all a hit with our 65 guests. We were blessed to be able to offer an open bar the entire night and served mint juleps as one of their signature cocktails, delicious. For our under 21 guests Vic's made virgin mint juleps which were a huge hit, and one of the bartenders even came and taught my 12 year old cousin how to make them so he could go home and teach his 4H club. Unfortunately I (mother of the bride) came down with a nasty cold four days before the big event, but when I arrived Joey immediately introduced himself and was there to help with hot tea. Our guests raved about the service the entire night. The staff was so attentive and fun and really going above and beyond what we had ever experienced that I have nothing but glowing reviews from all our guests. The diner we served was fried chicken, pecan flounder, beef short ribs, collard greens, garlic green beans and mashed potatoes along with Vic's buttermilk biscuits and marmalade, and every guest got all 3 of the entrees with the sides being served family style. Every guest who came up to me told me the food was to die for. Many of our daughter's and son in law's friends have been to a number of weddings recently and they reported that the food Vic's served was better than any they had ever had before. More specifics that are important to events of this nature would be that the restrooms were clean the entire the night and well stocked. Guests were served with impeccable attention so much so that many guests said they didn't even have to ask for things before they were brought to them. My daughter and SIL have said repeatedly that the night was magical and the best night of their lives. The friends and family of the groom (husband) as well as my own friends and family said more than once how elegant and beautiful the venue is and how delicious the food was. My husband and myself were just relieved and grateful at how easy it was to plan and pull together in working with Justyna and Joey. They did a fantastic job and we highly recommend them for any other bride or MOB.

It was so nice that we could drop off the decorations a few days ahead of time and they would set everything up for us just how we wanted it. We cannot thank Vic's enough. The guests had nothing but nice things to say, but most importantly the bride and groom were truly happy!!

evel service in a beautiful, historic space at a reasonable budget. He was responsive and helpful as I planned the event from Florida. His event experience really shined when helping craft the flow of the event and as we designed our decor. He was able to accommodate every request. The food was delicious and offered a wide variety to our guests. The team gave me such peace of mind where I dropped off all of our materials on the day before the event (including a computer with our slide show) and didn't think about it again until the next night where I walked in to a perfect looking room with the slide show up and running, all the decorations in place and our musician playing in the crowd. Vic's gave us a incredible night to remember-thank you!

ere extremely attentive and helpful throughout the night. My spouse and I have only heard positive reviews about the space! We had 130 guests who fit well into the Stoddard room. There was plenty of room for our band and our guests to dance. The guests also loved being able to hit River Street after the reception. The food was delicious and the staff was professional. Our guests had the option of chicken and fish or vegetarian. The appetizers included the cheese and fruit platters, veggie samosas, fried macaroni and cheese and shrimp and curried chicken. YUM! When my spouse and I realized that we had neglected to plan our entrance, Joey was on top of it! He put us all in order and relayed our names with pronunciation to the band. He made me feel so at ease. He also helped us get our slideshow projected after dinner. Justyna would find us throughout the night and make sure that she got us whatever we needed. Their attention to detail and helpfulness were so greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Vic’s on the River for a wedding reception based on our experience with the professional and helpful staff. Everyone at our wedding raved about the venue!

ght of everything! The day of the wedding, I was able to focus on getting ready and spending time with my girls, rather than stressing out about the food or the venue. Oh and I forgot to mention, we didn't have to lift a finger! One of the things that I had truly hoped for but never thought I would find, was a place that I didn't have to spend an entire evening and morning decorating. All we had to do was drop the decorations off the day before and they placed everything! How easy is THAT!? Our family and friends didn't have to worry about helping set up or about transitioning the room after the ceremony. When we came back in after family photos, it was all set up for cocktail hour and the reception. Oh and the FOOD! It's been two months and I am still hearing about how awesome the food was! Joey said "no one in the South leaves hungry" and boy was he right! The portions were so much bigger than we anticipated and everyone left full and happy. My husband and I were so stuffed, but they sent us home with to go boxes for that night! We were able to enjoy another slice of cake and have a midnight snack. Also, they provide floral centerpieces. I don't know about you, but that was a huge one for me. I simply told them what flowers were going to be used in my bouquet and my color scheme and we were blown away by how gorgeous the flowers were! I could seriously go on and on about how wonderful Vic's is, but you truly just need to experience the professionalism, beauty, and Southern charm that comes with a wedding at Vic's. Joey and Justyna, thank you for making our day absolutely perfect!

Both Joey and Justyna really listened to our vision and ideas to help make our day so enjoyable for our friends and family. The food, from the hor d'oeuvres to the dessert, was amazing. The service staff was kind and accommodating. And most of all, the venue was gorgeous. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding day. I highly recommend this venue and their wonderful staff for any event, or even just a great dinner!

They were even so kind as to save a plate of the Hors Douerves for us once we arrived. Our waiter- James, I believe was his name- was outstanding and absolutely took care of our every need. Needless to say it was the perfect ending to our savannah wedding. Would recommend to anyone for any type of event.

They provided table numbers and an easel for the seating chart, along with candles and floral centerpieces ( we sent them our pinterest and the centerpieces matched the bouquets so perfectly). It was all set up so beautifully. During the reception, we were treated so well and they made sure we got to eat-even packed up our leftovers for us to take home! I had a dress mishap and Joey came to my rescue so I could get back on the dance floor. They also completely handled our sparkler send-off. We are still getting texts about how awesome the food was. This is the place if you want to have a stress free night that you actually enjoy!!

He is so accessible and so friendly that he made everything so easy for us! And not to mention the centerpieces he put together were absolutely gorgeous! I was able to send him my inspiration pictures for our centerpieces and my pictures of my bridesmaids and bridal bouquet and he was able to create these stunning centerpieces that made our sweetheart and guest tables some of the best I've ever seen! The wait staff was awesome, making sure all our guests and my husband and I were good at all times. Thank you to Joey and his staff for making our reception wonderful!

The decorations we had wanted were set up exactly the way we asked and the flowers they provided were perfect! Joey and Justyna were absolutely amazing and accommodating beyond expectations. Both take extreme pride in what they do and their knowledge and confidence puts even the most skeptic person at ease! Our reception was perfect down to every little detail. In fact, many guests commented on how there was not one detail left undone. From the floral arrangements to the food, everything was perfect. Vic's runs a first class operation and if I had to do it all over again- I'd do it with them.

pful. We met with Joey in October 2014 and not only did I immediately take a liking to him, so did my mother and M-I-L. In a city with so many venues, we had a huge list of places to look at but after meeting with Joey and seeing the Stoddard room I knew, I didn't need to see any other venues. Vic's has so much character, exposed brick and beams, I'm pretty sure original hard wood floors from 1859, balconies over looking River Street, chandeliers with pineapples.... and that's just the physicality of the building. The staff is amazing... the southern hospitality doesn't stop at Justyna and Joey, every one who works there is an absolute treasure. On our wedding day, we arrived just a tiny bit late to the reception but Joey and the staff made all of our guests feel welcome and at home. When my groom and I finished our first dance, Joey made sure we had a plate of all of our passed hor dourves (which honestly, I didn't think we would be able to get). Joey made sure we had everything we needed. Our server, made sure we always had a filled glass, and constantly asked if we needed anything. The evening was so perfect, and I can tell you, it wasn't because of MY planning, but the amazing staff at Vic's. I seriously can't recommend this venue enough. The food was fantastic, my pan seared filet was cooked to perfection, every bite of everything we had was delicious. Joey told me at our first meeting that he would make sure I ate on our big day... and he did not disappoint. I couldn't tell you how many other brides told me to eat a big lunch because we 'wouldn't be able to eat at dinner'... not only did we eat... we ate like kings and queens. I've talked about the staff, food and now the decor.... we brought in a few lanterns and birdcages and window frames for seating arrangements (I was going for a 'rustic romantic' setting)... that was pretty much all we had.... JOEY MADE IT THE MOST CHARMINGLY RUSTIC ROMANTIC WEDDING EVER! Candles and beautiful flowers decorated the whole space, did I mention flowers were included? The most beautiful arrangements decorated the birdcages and lanterns with a touch of treated Spanish Moss. I can't imagine my day any more perfect. Vic's, Joey and the wonderful staff truly made our wedding reception spectacular. I am so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with these wonderful people at such a lovely property.

Joey was always very helpful in making time to show us the rooms and answer any questions leading up to the event. We both live in Atlanta and were planning our wedding remotely. Joey made us feel at ease and always made time for us if we were in town to further explore our options. On our actual wedding day Joey made sure to execute all of our requests with perfection! Honestly, Joey and the staff set our decor up better than I pictured by adding things like additional linen or back lighting. Not only did our ceremony and reception look spectacular, but the food and service was amazing! Joey also took extra special care of my mom, which made her feel special too. My husband and I had our own personal server, who was incredibly attentive! We opted for the plated lunch with salad, bread, fried chicken, pecan flounder, mac & cheese, collard greens and praline cheesecake for our southern themed wedding. For our cocktail hour we had the crawfish beignets, fried green tomatoes and chicken salad. Do not pass up the beignets or fried green tomatoes. Our guests LOVED the food! They are still raving about the presentation and taste! My husband and I were seated at our sweetheart table, there we had our own private selection of hors d'oeuvres after we finished taking our photos. Also, Joey personally came outside and brought us drinks while we were taking our photos. We were extremely hesitate about having a daytime wedding, however, Joey and the staff at Vic's On The River made our dream wedding come true and we all completely forgot it was daytime. If we could get married every year, we would return to Vic's annually to celebrate our wedding. You absolutely cannot go wrong with selecting them for your wedding. The Williamson's

ve our reception there. Our June 1st wedding reception was perfect! They decorated the room just perfect with the decor I provided and was beautiful! The service was excellent. The food was fantastic (like always). Everything ran smoothly and the guests were happy! Joey was so easy to work with and answered everyone one of my (annoying I'm sure) questions. It was very easy to organize our reception (decor, flowers, menu, bar budget) and very stress free. Can't say enough good things about Vic's on the River. They made this bride a very happy girl! I would highly recommend them for a reception or even a rehearsal dinner.
