e I work with her! There is no other makeup artist like this beauty here! Do yourself a favor and book your next makeup session with Janay! You will not be disappointed and that is a promise! Thank you for everything QUEEN!
Janay did a wonderful job on my makeup for our Joshua Tree elopement, and she was such a joy to have around! As a person of color, I was concerned about finding a makeup artist who...
could work with my skin tone, especially because we did not have the opportunity to do a makeup trial - Janay knocked it out of the park on the first go! I looked like the best version of myself, the makeup was natural and photographed so well, and it held beautifully the whole day - she even let me keep lip gloss for touch ups (which I still use today). I highly recommend her!! (Thank you Janay!)
As a makeup artist myself, I am very particular with makeup but I knew that Janay was the artist I could whole-heartedly trust for my wedding day, and she exceeded my expectations!...
Janay is so talented, she listened to all of our needs and made us feel absolutely stunning! Beyond that, I think the best thing about Janay was her energy. She has such a great energy about her, a heart of gold, which made getting our makeup done such a fun experience! I will be recommending her to everyone for their special occasions!!

self in the mirror because I trust her work, it’s simply phenomenal. Highly recommend!!
Janay Vansylk is a genuis makeup artist. We did a trial run to accommodate my schedule during my visit from out of town. I loved the results so there was no doubt I would hire ...
her to do my wedding. She's friendly, reliable, flexible, and easy to work with. When looking for an artist, it's important to find someone who understands different skin tones and can play with the latest trends. Janay excels at both! I highly recommend her and also hired her for another special event in January 2022.
