nly were they able to create our perfect wedding dinner, but customized it perfectly to our tastes. Our guests loved the food and we got so many compliments on our food choices. The team was so communicative and make this aspect of our wedding an absolute breeze. I would 100% recommend this company for any event you're planning.

some of the leftovers and will reuse for thanksgiving. Would recommend them to anyone.

ly helpful and able to connect us with other vendors. Also love that they are socially conscious. We were able to choose sustainable plates and cutlery and they donated our leftover food. 10/10. Your wedding will be better if you choose Upohar.

ing—every dish was packed with flavor and looked fantastic. Our guests are still raving about the appetizers! The team at Upohar World Kitchen was super professional and friendly, making sure everything went smoothly on the big day. They went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences and special requests, creating a menu that truly reflected our tastes. The service was top-notch, too. The staff was warm and efficient, making our guests feel welcome from start to finish. It really put us at ease knowing we could count on them to handle everything seamlessly. If you’re looking for a caterer who delivers delicious food and great service, look no further than Upohar World Kitchen. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day so special! Highly recommend!

Upohar easy and enjoyable. At the event itself, Josiah ran the show and we were in GREAT hands. He is professional and charismatic, and definitely someone that is a joy to have around on such an important day. We received so many compliments on the food -- guests find it so refreshing to have unique (and guaranteed delicious) options! It's also awesome to know that local restaurants are being supported in the process.

ding a pre-event visit at the wedding/rehearsal venue. The food was so delicious and appreciated by guests. Service and cleanup was excellent as well. We can highly recommend Upohar as an excellent caterer for any event!

ed by individuals and the home cooking comes through. Stephanie and everyone so helpful, from the first meeting, to tasting, to the big day they are incredibly kind, organized and helpful. And the food, can’t beat it. We went with Spanish food and everyone raved about it. Everyone couldn’t stop stuffing themselves. Me and my bride are vegan, we have family with strong gluten intolerance, and most of our family wants meat, we had no trouble accommodating everyone. Do yourself a favor and go with Upohar if you want truly authentic homemade delicious food for your guests.

ruck. The food was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments from guests. Josiah was professional and helpful throughout the entire process, and kept the night running very smoothly. They even cleaned up and packed up the leftovers for us. Absolutely recommend.

y guests how much they loved it.

sting with the team, to the final preparations with Stephanie and Josiah, they all approached the job with such care, confidence and catering competence. The food selection and service were perfect. Everyone (from food fussers to foodies) loved the menu, especially the empanadas, chicken teriyaki, and pastelitos de guayaba. I did not have to worry about a thing, thanks to Upohar, and could enjoy my time with family and friends. I hope to work with Upohar again and certainly will recommend them to others.

tion of global foods prepared by local chefs. We were delighted to share in a meal that is far from the usual... something different and exciting. And Upohar is a B-Corp supporting local immigrant food entrepreneurs. A feel-good experience all around!

process, through many changes, with a smile on her face the entire time. The day of service and coordination was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. Every guest raved about the food, even our more pickier eaters. We would hire them again to cater in a heartbeat for any other upcoming parties.

tering package they also were so kind enough to reach out to my wedding coordinator to let her know in advance what food would need to be replenished. The team was also very helpful and resourceful in helping us find a bartender for our wedding and a trash haul company because our venue did not supply it. Let’s not forget about the food ! We are a Hispanic couple so we picked the Pernil(pork), Pollo guisado (chicken), yellow rice, white rice, black beans, pinto beans, salad, sweet plantains and the chicken & beaf & cheese empanadas. My husband and I didn’t have time to do the food tasting since we live out of state, so we read the reviews and took people’s words for it and let me say the reviews did not lie!! The food was soooo good! Our guest would not stop raving about it and asking if the food was homemade and brought to the venue! I never thought catering food could be so tasty!

salsa and guacamole. Our guests were raving. I also can't say enough good things about Sri, Stephanie, and Josiah. They were a joy to work with — very responsive, attentive and organized. The service at our wedding was top-notch as well. A few of my guests told me how kind and courteous they thought Josiah was. My husband and I couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Upohar for your event!!

ated. The wedding venue’s dance floor was as slippery as a Slip and Slide and the reception tent was further away from the Upohar Food Truck than we had planned. One would think it was a disaster and the bride went screaming into the night. Well…if you thought that.....you would be wrong. The Upohar food servers were amazing. They took everything in stride and and kept it going. Their confidence and reassuring manner kept the bride (me) cool and calm because they had everything under control. They kept the party going when it could have been a disaster. They served the Puerto Rican Pernil, Jerk Chicken, and North Indian Saag Paneer as well as providing the chicken and beef skewers as appetizers. The best part is that everyone...and I mean EVERYONE....raved about the food. As Steve and I made our rounds during the meal....every single table commented on how incredible the food was. We also had one of Upohar's bartenders. He was also professional yet very friendly and my guests loved him. (My sister especially appreciated how he was always ready with the "adult" punch whenever she approached.) Working and planning with Upohar was always easy. They were always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to make my wedding special. In fact...they came to the venue the day before to help with logistics for their truck and finalize the time. Best of all...they are all exceptionally friendly. It was like having your family and friends serve your meal. I highly recommend Upohar for any party, reception, or other gathering. Their prices are great, they will work with you on all aspects of the planning, and their food is amazing. They truly did everything they could to make our wedding a huge success....in spite of the rain.

ation, to the tastings, to the many follow-ups, to the actual event - so easy. They were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. The venue that we held our event at doesn't allow outside catering, but they made an exception for us. Upohar was great with working with our venue directly to figure out the best plan for execution. They were very detail oriented and made sure everything was accounted for. The food was DELICIOUS. We are so happy with the menu we decided on. The staff at the event was super professional and did a great job with serving people, answering questions, and turning over for each course. Everything went perfectly, and we were truly stress free knowing Upohar was handling all of our food. We would highly recommend!

wedding day. Upohar allowed us to build a delicious buffet dinner. Almost three months later and my guests are still raving about how good the food was at our wedding. I would highly recommend since their food is 10/10!

ceived so many compliments from our guests on how great the food was.

d we. The staff was also incredible. Our tasting was not only delicious, but they answered every question, problem solving with us as we made our plans for the meal. When rain threatened our plans they were very communicative and flexible. On the night of the rehearsal dinner, they folks running the food truck even made sure to send food out to me and my son to be husband (the bride and groom shouldn't be waiting for food they said!). They also packed up the leftovers for us which came in handy for some friends who arrived to town late due to travel troubles. This is a rocking female owned and operated business and we couldn't recommend it more!

nd everything went perfectly the day of the wedding. We definitely recommend them to anyone planning an event!

experience. Thank you!

oyed the food and kept saying how delicious it was. I’m so happy I hired them!

nal wedding fare), plus offered options for vegetarians. They were amazing to work with and very flexible with the menu; they accommodated several customizations. The tasting was great – we were able to try many different options and the portions were huge. They especially went above and beyond with service during the night, accommodating our request to wear masks, bussing tables throughout the whole event, and staying on top of cleanup and trash. It really sped up our teardown at the end of the night. They also visited our venue ahead of time and were flexible in working with the space, which was essentially fully outdoors with very limited kitchen space. Many guests complimented the food and the unique menu. At the end of the night, they packed up all of our leftovers for us, and we were able to gather with family and make a second meal of it the next day. They were also super communicative throughout the whole process and very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

ing out the final guest count. Everything was right on time, hot, and declicious (our guests thought so too). Plus, the prices were super reasonable!

ized, we knew we didn't have to worry about anything when it came to the food being handled by Upohar at our wedding. Let's talk about the food because that's the major part of any wedding! We did a tasting at Upohar to determine the menu and all of it was so good. So good that it was difficult to choose what to put on our menu, which is a good problem to have. With plenty of options for all diets, from GF to vegan, we wanted all of our guests to leave satisfied. Many of our guests let us know how much they loved the food afterward, which made us so happy because we certainly chose a more adventurous wedding menu than the typical wedding fare. The empanadas, rice and beans, plantains, chicken, and veggies paired together perfectly. On the actual day of the wedding, Upohar's team was early and got everything set up and ready without needing us, which was ideal. Everything went off without a hitch. So a big thank you and our highest recommendation for Upohar for catering your special day! – Becky & Brett

The food was absolutely fantastic! The catering team was professional and courteous.

ee)! It’s easy to tell the food was made with love and care. They have many options available and can customize your menu based on your preferences and dietary needs (ex. the base menu is vegan and you can add your choice of protein). Our menu included pernil (our favorite), Cuban black beans, coconut & yellow rice, mango salsa, and cucumber aachar. They also provided many invaluable services, including coordinating bartending and a fresh made stroopie station along with an amazing coordinator who was a tremendous help! They were also very flexible when COVID changed our original plans and we would definitely recommend choosing them for all your catering needs!

catering it. It was the number one most important thing. The food was fantastic, so flavorful and all vegan other than some separate chicken on the buffet. Their food is so unique and so delicious, and our guests were able to experience food they never would have in their every day life. Sri, Stephanie and all the crew that came to put everything together, 1 million thank yous go out to you all. Thank you for everything.

best I’ve had (grandma will always have to be the top). It was so tender yet flavorful. Even my own grandma wanted to take the leftovers home. We had arroz con gandules, maduros, chicken/beef empanadas, and pollo guisado also and they were just as delicious and amazing. Stephanie was amazing to work with our short timeline and distance from our venue. She was so accommodating during the whole process and even helped us to add chicken to our menu only a few days prior to our dinner. I feel so lucky to have found Upohar in the middle of Lancaster county. If you want ethnic food for your next event, then I definitely recommend Upohar!

hout the whole process and she made us feel welcome and heard. She anticipated our needs and worked with us as circumstances changed over the 1.5 years since booking. We were initially disappointed as the food truck was booked for our date, but she notified us immediately when it became available. Having the food truck option allowed us and our party to remain hands-off on the wedding day. The portions were hearty and everyone was talking about the great food. We look forward to being able to stop by the restaurant to try the rest of their menu.

they’ve had. With the food truck you’re able to take leftovers with you so no food goes to waste! I can’t thank Sri enough for her catering services.

d they were pleasantly surprised not to have the same boring wedding chicken again. We also booked our day of coordinator through Upohar. Carley was amazing. She made the day streamlined and stress free. Thank you!!!!

rving food safely, from individually butlered appetizers, to a safe buffet, served by the catering staff. The food was out of this world, and our baker, who happens to also be a friend, said it was the first wedding in Lancaster County that she's attended and saw people get up for seconds. We can't wait for the restaurant to re-open so we can eat the food on a regular basis!

food was delicious and the staff were accommodating to safely meet CDC standards while getting married during Covid. Aside from the food being fantastic (and genuinely all of our guests loved their meals), Sri's customer service is second to none. She was phenomenal to work with leading up to the wedding, being mindful of the details, flexible with food options, and prompt in responding to my random questions as they arose throughout the planning process. If you are in the Lancaster area and needing affordable meal options for your wedding, look no further. We are beyond grateful that Sri and her team are who we chose to cater and celebrate our wedding day with us!

all our guests easy, since our reception was a drop-in. The servers wrapped up the extra food at the end of the event, which made it easy for us to send food home with our guests. They offered to clean trash off the tables, as well, and take the trash with them to dispose of it off-site. We were very impressed by and pleased with their service!

ea to Sri at Global Flavors that they would more than deliver. Sri developed a beautiful menu to seamlessly blend the two together and was extremely knowledgeable about a variety of Peruvian dishes. Both our Peruvian-American and conservative Pennsylvania Dutch family members loved the food including the many children in attendance. In fact we had so many guests comment on how delicious the food was both at the wedding and weeks later. Favorites included ceviche, pollo al horno, and PA Dutch chow chow. The entire team at Global Flavors was wonderful to work with and made things so easy for us, especially Sri and Lex. An added bonus was the optional table linen and china rental they supplied which made less work for us. We loved that despite tailoring a menu just for us and serving over 120 guests that things were still affordable. They had excellent communication from day one. We could not be more pleased with our catering experience!

ing so great!

uck and especially the empanadas!

me up and told me that it was the best food they'd had at a wedding. Definitely recommend! And it's a social business to boot!
