There are not enough good things in the world to say about unMuddled! From the first correspondence to the handshake farewell of our wedding, Ross and his team were the most profes...
sional people I have ever worked with. I've been in the entertainment world in Chicago for 25 years, and I don't want to work with anyone else ever again. Ross and the team at unMuddled were honest, fair, and went above and beyond to not only make us feel special, but make our guests feel special.
unMuddled cultivated a specialized menu for our wedding, and worked with us not only on the menu, but also helped us figure out what alcohol to buy. They crafted specialized cocktails for both the bride and groom, and honestly stole the show in the best way possible: they didn't need any tending to. When I first reached out to Ross, I immediately felt at ease, and never once worried about how our wedding would turn out.
Ross, I hope you read these reviews... I can't thank you enough for helping to make our wedding the night it was. You're the best.

ly professional, easy to work with, and truly made the whole process seamless. From the initial planning to the day-of execution, everything was handled with such care and attention to detail.
The drinks were a huge hit with our guests—we still get compliments about the creative cocktails and the high-quality service. It’s clear that unMuddled’s team is passionate about what they do, and they made our special day even more memorable. Highly recommend them for any event they will exceed your expectations!
We chose unMuddled for our wedding earlier this year based on the recommendation of a friend who also got married. We had a great time at their wedding, so gave unMuddled a shot.

They were great to work with from the start, helping us curate the perfect custom cocktail menu along with all the traditional favorites. They helped keep the dance floor fueled all party long! Would definitely recommend them to anyone else wedding planning or planning any event requiring bartending services.
Ross and team were great to work with, highly recommend them for your next event!

the planning process so easy. On the big day, their team of professional bartenders blew us away—they were not only polished and efficient but also brought a great sense of humor that kept our guests entertained all night long.
Their cocktails were hands-down the best we've ever had at an event. They worked with us to create a custom drink menu that perfectly fit our theme, and they nailed every single recipe. Beyond the drinks, they thought of everything—providing mixers, garnishes, and glassware, delivering the booze, and handling setup and cleanup flawlessly.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the bar experience, and we couldn’t have been happier. If you’re looking for a vendor who will take your event to the next level, we can’t recommend UnMuddled Bartending enough!

cared for. The entire planning process was not only seamless but also so much fun! Ross went above and beyond by helping us create custom signature cocktails, even incorporating soju to honor my Korean heritage. He also managed all the logistics with Garfield's, including placing orders and coordinating delivery and pickup.
Our bartenders were phenomenal, and our guests are still raving about the incredible drinks! The team delivered exceptional customer service while crafting unique, hand-made cocktails and mocktails throughout the evening. One moment that stood out was when one of the bartenders noticed the pattern of drinks I was having (signature cocktail > Diet Coke > water) and started bringing them to me in that exact order. It was such a thoughtful gesture that perfectly captures the kindness and attentiveness of the unMuddled team.
We can’t recommend them enough or thank them enough! They are truly the best in the business!
The best bartending experience in Chicago. Whether you are booking them for an event like a wedding or holiday party or attending one of their classes, you will have the best drink...
s and the most fun.
Their drinks are made with fresh, quality ingredients that they combine to create unbelievably well balanced and delicious cocktails.
The staff is wonderful. Polite, attentive, and passionate about giving their customers a unique experience.
I hired UnMuddled for my wedding and they were worth every penny. They helped select and customize the cocktails for my event, worked with me to build the order list for all the alcohol, and then executed flawlessly on the day of my wedding.
I heard from multiple guests how great the bar staff was, how delicious the cocktails were, and how much fun every one had. No one was over served.
I cannot recommend UnMuddled enough for all of your cocktail and bartending needs.
Ross and the UnMuddled team were phenomenal from the first email until the end of our wedding. We would pick them every single time if we did it again. Their initial questionnaire ...
and our ideas helped the team to find the perfect blend of drink options. The cocktails vibed well with our vision (subtle tiki inspiration), and the team’s genuine investment in making our wedding memorable was felt by us and all our guests. More specific details outlined below.
Process - extremely responsive; opportunities for tweaks throughout; always felt like there was full transparency in their pricing and rationale; never felt like we were being upsold
Cocktails - unique ideas that were approachable, complex, and well-balanced; people are still mentioning how good the drinks were months after the wedding
Service - attentive and personable; my sister-in-law is a graphic designer, and UnMuddled worked with her to design a custom menu with our pets incorporated; consistency in drink taste/quality from tasting to wedding day and between bartenders was exceptional

inks. Ross and his staff were not only professional and skilled, but they also had a friendly and upbeat attitude that added to the overall joyous atmosphere of the event.
Throughout the evening, the bartenders were attentive and responsive to the needs of our guests. They quickly served drinks and made sure that everyone had a full glass. They were also knowledgeable about the different drinks and were able to make recommendations for those who were unsure of what to order.
Overall, I highly recommend the bartender service that I hired for my backyard wedding. Their professionalism, skill, and friendly demeanor made them a valuable addition to our special day. I would not hesitate to hire them again for future events and I am considering hiring them for a mixology course for a group of friends.

o go with our wedding.
Ross + team started from understanding what we were looking for, working with us to craft a menu, had a great tasting session where we got to try everything out and then knocked it out of the park on the actual day.
They were able to help navigate last minute considerations around adjusting glassware and helping to serve wine during dinner and partnered with other vendors extremely well, making it easy for us. On the actual day, the bar service was professional and well organized and all of the drinks were great! I would highly recommend working with them for a wedding or any other event.

s and he and his team exceeded our expectations throughout. We absolutely loved our experience tasting and selecting our signature cocktails which had to be one of our favorite parts during wedding planning. Ross was super gracious and knowledgeable during the tasting process, and helped us to put together delicious drinks with a fun twist which reflected both of us so well. He was communicative throughout the planning process and had very insightful guidance regarding purchasing liquor and drinks for the service including local brand recommendations, quantities, etc. The day of our wedding he was so amazing and we had many guests comment on what a great experience they had at the bar and how much they enjoyed our signature drinks. At one point Ross even went above and beyond helping to clean up a spilled drink in the middle of the dance floor which was way more than we could've ever expected. Ross and his team were such an integral part of our reception, we can't thank them enough for helping us to put together such a special day and recommend them for any event!

great cocktail tasting and pick some signature drinks for the wedding, which were a huge hit for all of the guests! During the wedding, Ross and his team were SO sweet and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
UnMuddled goes above and beyond your standard bartender service for weddings. Early on in the process, we met with Ross to have a tasting and create our three signature cocktails. ...
He was so flexible with making tweaks to the recipes to match our preferences. Everyone loved the signature cocktails! They also provided a nice menu of the cocktails and other drinks available. Prior to the wedding, communication was always quick and easy with Ross. Don’t let ordering your own liquor dissuade from booking them, it really is easy and cost effective to work with Prestige or other liquor stores. UnMuddled also helps by providing a list of what they need and can make a estimate about the cost for you. At the wedding, the bartenders were so personable and quick. Our guests never had to wait for a drink. We really loved working with UnMuddled and would recommend them to anyone getting married in Chicago who can choose their own bartenders.

to find a local mixologist in Chicago that could work with us to develop easy recipes any bartender could follow. Ross and the UnMuddled team surpassed any expectation we could have imagined for this experience. The amount of detail and care he took in helping us throughout the process was incredible. His level of service (and quality of the drinks!) was so amazing that we will be repeat customers for as many events as possible! Any event or experience with cocktails involved, you should absolutely consult with and hire UnMuddled.

planning process and the day of! He always responded kindly to our questions and suggestions and even helped us out with brand options when it came to the alcohol that we needed for our cocktails. Our non-drinking friends really appreciated the virgin cocktails that Ross made for them so they wouldn’t miss out on the fun. We seriously can’t say enough good things about unMuddled and look forward to working with them again in the future!

ed to go for specialty drinks for our wedding and Ross created vodka, tequila, and whiskey based drinks that suited our tastes and were a huge hit with our guests. At the end of the night, Ross and his team packed up all the unused liquor and loaded it in our car so we could return it. We truly appreciated Ross and his staffs professionalism and likability!
Can't recommend unMuddled enough. Ross was just so professional, knowledgeable, and easygoing. He created two amazing signature cocktails for me and my wife that perfectly blended ...
all of the flavors we wanted to capture. And I wouldn't have been able to curate the bar selection without his expert insight (he saved me a good amount of money on that as well). The next time we need a bartending service, Ross and the team at unMuddled will be the people we contact. Do yourself a favor and hire this team!
Hiring Ross was one of the BEST decisions we made in our entire wedding planning process! We knew that food, booze, and music were our top 3 priorities for our reception from day 1...
, and Ross really helped our vision for a great party with our favorite people come true. Ross was THE most responsive vendor we worked with throughout the entire planning process, and he was so kind, knowledgeable, flexible, and patient throughout our time with him. You can tell that he really knows his stuff and loves what he does, and we were so lucky to be able to work with him to plan our custom cocktail menu. Our venue allowed BYOB with no corkage fee (which was GREAT for our budget), and Ross was also so helpful when we were building our "shopping list" for Binny's--we would've had no idea where to start without his help. I truly cannot say enough good things about Ross's excellent communication, his great attitude, or how helpful and professional he was from our very first inquiry email to the wedding day itself. I even had guests telling me how quick and friendly the bartenders were at the wedding! The drinks were fabulous, and working with Ross could not have been any easier. Do yourself a favor and book unMuddled for your next big event!!

He provided custom cocktails (one pre-made in a cool cocktail keg they provided) that they put together beautifully and adjusted to be alcohol-free for those who needed it.
100% will hire him again if we ever hold an event that serves alcohol.

easy. Ross was very personable and great to work with. He was very responsive to emails and always had great suggestions to make the event a success. He knew just what to do to make sure I was prepared so that I had nothing to worry about. On the day of the event, Ross came prepared and on time. Guests raved about the cocktails had had designed for the event. He was even nice enough to leave the bar area when things were slow to deliver drinks personally to guests and ask guests if they wanted another. I would definitely hire again for another event!
Ross is awesome!
I've had the pleasure of having Ross tend bar for 3 of my personal events and he assisted in planning and working a wedding reception for two of my closets friends...
as well.
Ross was extremely professional (as always), engaged with the guests and went out of his way to make sure every one was taken care of!
Truly a standout in his profession! I will always use Ross as my first choice for any event I need a bartender for!
