VERY HOT JULY WEDDING 75 degrees even though was told it wouldn’t be that hot and didn’t like being bothered about the heat in the barn and bridal suit. Had to get fans, mutiple pe...
ople complaining, they forgot which arch I wanted thankfully I caught it before hand even though I asked about it and sent screenshot of it for dementions so not sure what the disconnect was. Was asked to move rehearsal date so they could have people that rented the weekend so we had to share which was fine but didn’t appreciate being asked to move to another date. Pipe leak which wasn’t big deal. Felt like they would have been MORE helpful if we paid 10,000 for the weekend. My family had to do A LOT OF work on wedding day even with the decorator and union manor felt bad, they were out of breath helping should have been able to enjoy the moment more. So thankful for them, no coordinator helping me stay on schedule. It says online you get a coordinator but maybe that’s more for the venue not for that? Even the bridal suite was hot when it was just 2 people NOT going in and out. I had a maid of honor ask about the air conditioner she acted like she was crazy it was fine it was fine the previous day and it wasn’t. She gave a fan but wasn’t much help. Eventually we had to open the windows for a breeze didn’t know we weren’t allowed or we wouldn’t have but again that was towards the end of getting ready so a majority of the time it was hot. I would have it there again but BRING PORTABLE AIRCONDIONTERS IF ALLOWEND FOR BARN AND BRIDAL SUITE NOT SURE WITH THE GUYS ROOM. Or just have a fall/ winter wedding there. It was hot enough my friend told me I should leave a review to warn future couple. My aunt couldn’t come and now I’m glad she couldn’t because I asked if they could keep it certain temp for her because she can’t breath if it’s so hot and I was told it would be. I saw the themastat in barn it was 75, more than my aunt would have been able to handle it. I asked if we could turn up air that was the best it worked it felt better outside then in. We weren’t allowed opening windows in the barn it was one or the other towards the end we were allowed to open doors. Brought fans in but they weren’t large enough. I think one of the reasons more people didn’t dance because it was miserable a big thing I DIDNT WANT. I would have it there again but BRING PORTABLE AIRCONDITIONERS IF ALLOWED AND FANS and maybe have some kind of shade because it is in direct sunlight can be hard for taking pictures. Or have your wedding in a different season not hot summer. Also wanted us to move our rehearsal date for people that were there the whole weekend
