I had to arrange a bridal shower within three weeks and had to find a restaurant with covered outside seating. Uncle Bacala's is a hidden treasure! The outside area is out of view ...
from Jericho Turnpike. The wall provides privacy and offers two different size tents for parties as well as a smaller area for general seating.
Eva is the event manager. She knows her venue and food very well. I had not planned a shower in a few years and welcomed her advice for meal choices and even the type of decorations that work well in the tent space. My numerous emailed questions were quickly answered as were my phone calls. Eva was wonderful and patient as we made adjustments to ensure all guests were comfortable during the party.
The staff and food were excellent. The courses were served at just the right time intervals and I'm still hearing back from the guests about how much they loved the food.
Uncle Bacala's offered it all and the overall cost was very reasonable.
If you are planning a special event I would highly recommend Uncle Bacala's!! We had a Christening on Sunday and it was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end! Eve made every...
thing so easy and personal; menus personalized ; table seating signs in frames , etc. The seating outside was perfect, the GENEROUS portions of food was DELICIOUS from appetizers , main course, dessert and fun cotton candy at the end which the kids went crazy for! The service was TERRIFIC; Barbara, NIck and Luis were so attentive to everyone!! And the price was great! I was so very pleased and happy with everything! Will definitely be back!

plaints, as this venue went over and beyond with ensuring that my husband and I had a very special day - Our wedding day that is. Throughout the process of planning, they were very supportive and communicative; which is really worth a lot when you are a bride to be, full time graduate student, and full time worker (believe me - this makes a very big difference!). They really understood my vision and exceeded my expectations; literally better than Pinterest photos I gave them. I received so many compliments on the food, service, and decor of my reception at Uncle Bacala's, from family members and friends. I can not wait to have another event take place, so that I can use them again; but this definitely wont stop me from going back for another meal in the meantime.
