! The staff is very friendly and helpful! We had our ceremony beneath the pecan tree, and our reception in the grand barn. We loved the farmhouse as the bridal suite for getting ready. That was my favorite part! Being able to have the rehearsal dinner there was also a huge benefit! My guests loved the venue, and my family wishes we could have another event there! My husband and I will forever cherish the memories we made that weekend at Twin Oaks Farm Weddings -- Our dream wedding!

out 11 months prior to our actual wedding, and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere - the big red barn, lake (stocked with fish too!), numerous cottages and farmhouse for the bridal party, and what became the centerpiece of our wedding, one of the largest and oldest pecan trees in Georgia. The only reservation that we had when considering this venue was that Tom and Karen had little to no experience with Indian Weddings! Tom and Karen did not let their inexperience with this type of cultural wedding stop them for a second. They met with our family several times, both in person and via the telephone, to help us plan and coordinate the affair. Their philosophy is such that the estate became a canvas for us to design our own wedding, and they are there to make sure that everything happens the way we imagine it. In addition, the two of them communicated frequently with coordinators and vendors to ensure that all the materials, food, etc. would be delivered on site in timely fashion. On the big day itself, both of them bent over backwards to ensure that our day went as smooth as possible....were it not for Tom, we may not have had any ice for our beverages on such a hot day! Unlike many venues, there are no time limits either imposed on when the night could end. We kept the party going all night long, and the best part is...Tom and Karen joined in too! This venue originated as their weekend getaway home, and I'm so glad they decided to share it with us for the weekend. It's obvious that they have put in so much thought and effort in building the farm from the ground up, and that they take great pride in hosting every event and making it the best it can be. They use their experience to help anticipate any issues that may arise and prevent them from even happening in the first place. Tom even made us custom direction signs to post along the road for people to find the place (it is a bit difficult to find using a GPS). Even if Tom and Karen weren't so helpful, the venue itself is breathtaking enough to book. During the fall, the cotton fields were in bloom making the scenery ultra-picturesque. In the evening, the starry sky is also gorgeous. And let's not forget the ancillary staff they have hired to help with the upkeep of the place! Everyone was very courteous and polite to us the entire time we were there! I couldn't be happier with the way my wedding turned out....it truly went beyond my expectations and in no small part was that due to the enormous effort these 2 put in. Thanks so much! - Nishi

The Grand Barn is a spacious reception venue and all of our vendors enjoyed the ease of preparation in the Grand Barn. The venue owners, Tom and Karen Hunt, are a joy to work with - always striving to make every detail go smoothly and as planned. They were both very gracious, even when met with requests that were "out of the ordinary". Having seen multiple wedding venues throughout the years, I must say that Twin Oaks Farms is at the top of my list and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone planning a Southern barn-style wedding and reception!

Tom Hunt are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. You could spend the night, have your rehearsal dinner there, and wake up the next morning and relax while there staff gets the place ready for your wedding. Its the perfect wedding venue!

As we were preparing for this special event, my husband and I were puzzled as to where we might host the rehearsal dinner...since we lived several hours away from the wedding and reception sites. We were delighted when Twin Oaks Farm was suggested by our children and we toured this beautiful venue...meeting the warm and gracious owners, Tom and Karen Hunt!!! The setting was so delightfully tranquil...simply lovely...a perfect place at which to honor our children as they began their new life together. Once our decision was made, all our plans fell smoothly into place with perfect coordination between all involved! We welcomed our rehearsal dinner guests in the wonderful Hospitality Barn...beautifully decorated...warm and inviting for everyone to enjoy a very special evening...and the perfect beginning to our wedding weekend at Twin Oaks!!! Many thanks to our dear new friends, the Hunts, who made this possible...and whom we look forward to visiting again when we travel to south Georgia in the future!!!

simply stunning. Every detail for the barn and property was thoroughly thought out. In addition, the owners were very open to feedback and suggestions. The staff and property managers are above the rest! They are great to communicate with and even better to work with! As the bride, I felt confident that every request would be met by their team. The owners expressed their mission to have my wedding "fulfill every dream." It was so nice to hear that they aren't interested in creating a cookie-cutter experience for every bride. The venue continues to add features to the property to enhance the guests experience. I couldn't have been happier with my wedding experience at Twin Oaks!

f town guests and all the historic lodging on the farm was incredible. Having all my bridesmaids for a sleepover in the gorgeous farmhouse's master bedroom was ideal and so special. My husband and his groomsmen all stayed in the loft, over the barn and had too much fun! My parents and our New York family loved staying in the log cabins. It was so nice to have everyone on site! Tom and Karen Hunt are such an amazing couple, not your typical wedding venue owners! They love their farm and love sharing it with others. They are constantly improving it and the new grand barn is absolutely stunning- straight off my Pinterest dream wedding board! **Make sure you get pictures by the gorgeous and HUGE tree in the back- it's perfection!!!

When you get married there tom and Karen truly make it their personal obligation to make sure your day is perfect! They give you so many small things that I would have never thought of on my own. e was the bridal house! The bridal house had a porch that wrapped all the way around and was so similar to a family house we used to own in Shady Deal, Georgia. The hallway was wide and had beautiful hard woods. All the rooms reminded me of the Shady Deal house and it brought back so many great memories. I knew I wanted my wedding pictures taken there! Everything else was just as beautiful! The landscapping, the grand barn, the growns house and all the cabins were perfect for our big family wedding. Tom and Karen really have made this venue a dream for brides!

e bright stars in the sky as we rode on the hayride offered after the reception. They offered a bonfire with our package which gave us time to make smores as we hung around the fire relaxing before the night of our wedding. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Karen and the team at Twin Oaks, took care of everything from setting up tables, chairs, and even my hay bale sofa. They have all the chairs, linens, and tables and they worked well with all of our other vendors. Their southern hospitality made our wedding a huge success.
