Sharon did such wonderful work altering a bridesmaid dress for me for my friend’s wedding coming up at the end of June. I will be coming back to her for wedding gown alterations! I...
highly recommend her work- she is very communicative, flexible with scheduling, and has many ideas on how to make you feel most comfortable in your dress. On top of all of this, she is extremely efficient and friendly!
Sharon did a great job with my dress- it fit like a glove on my wedding day! When I told someone I hadn’t booked alterations for my wedding a couple months out, they were worried f...
or me- which caused me panic. However, I reached out to Sharon and she got me in right away and got my dress done quickly and beautifully. She steamed my dress and my veil as well. It is also super convenient that she offers evening hours. I would definitely recommend her for all your alteration needs!
Sharon got me in for an initial consultation quickly and was very patient with my busy schedule. The initial appointment was great, and we set up our follow-up appointment for abou...
t one month later. On the day of the appointment, Sharon was not there. Her husband called and informed Sharon we were there. Sharon made it to the appointment and discovered that my dress had not been started. She told us that if we went to lunch and came back she would have it done as the alterations requested were simple. After a long fight to get my dress from the bridal shop (unrelated to Twin Cities Bridal Alterations), this was definitely not what I had been hoping for and I was very nervous about a rush job. We did leave, and after about an hour and an hour and a half, we received a call that my dress was finished. Upon returning, Sharon not only made the alterations and made them with quality, but she also made space to press my dress.
Now I know this experience was not ideal. Still, I want to highlight that Sharon was incredibly professional in her recovery and speaking from my own experience in my wedding planning process so far, if it had been another vendor there may or may not have been any accountability for the error taken. They definitely would not have made the time to make it right same day. Sharon made a mistake but was able to fix it and sent me home with a dress that made me feel like a bride for the first time during this whole process on the same day as the appointment was scheduled for. I would recommend Twin Cities Bridal Alterations.
Sharon is so sweet, so efficient, and my dress looked stunning after she altered it. I would highly recommend if you are looking for someone to alter your wedding dress!
The suggested vendors from my bridal salon were quite out of the way. I searched for something closer to St. Paul and I am so glad I did. I had a great experience with Sharon. She ...

Sharon was such a pleasure to work with! She was incredibly friendly and kind, making me feel totally at ease and very well taken care of in her home studio. I loved feeling like I had her full attention and felt like she could take her time and do great work, rather than a busy shop that tries to get people in and out the door. She did an amazing job on my dress. I'm so impressed by how perfectly she got it tailored with just a single fitting. I had a tulle skirt, she added a bustled, made my top smaller, shortened the length of the dress, added a belt, steamed my dress and veil!
Her prices were affordable and the biggest thing is that I trusted her to get the job done. I was nervous with such an expensive and special item, but she knew exactly what to do and I felt confident leaving my dress with her.

Sharon was highly recommend by Flutter Bridal Boutique and she did an amazing job altering my completely beaded Theia gown. She's super nice and very affordable.
Sharon does an amazing job! My dress was very intricate, and over a size too big, and you'd never know! Highly recommend, she knows her stuff and will take care of you.

Sharon did an awesome job on my dress alterations at a great price point!
Sharon was great! She took one look at my gown and knew what to do with it. I asked her if she could add my bra as part of my gown, and she made the bra a part of it too. She added...
to the dress so that the bra would stay in place. The more I stared at myself in the mirror, the more I knew I wanted to remove from the skirt, and she did that on the spot, so that I could see it before it was permanent. She was so pleasant to work with. She had a private space in her home to work in and it felt like a shop. She is friendly and welcoming. I even invited her to the reception!
Sharon was so great to work with on a very limited time frame!! She is fair priced and made me feel more better about being in my dress on my wedding day. Thanks again Sharon!

it well. The downsides would be price of alterations (it cost as much as my dress) and that the dress was fitted for my body before meals and that didn't leave me much room for eating during the reception (it became tight and uncomfortable). Alterations on wedding dresses can be pricey so maybe her prices are standard. Overall, I would recommend her.

ses that come through her shop. She was also very accommodating just days before my wedding, when I felt that the dress needed a slight adjustment. She helped ease the stress and worry that had built up in me the night before and it resulted in me feeling beautiful in my dress on my wedding day. I would definitely recommend Sharon's services to other brides.

rations weren't started. So, when it came time for the final fitting one month before the wedding, I was disappointed when the waist and bust were just as big as when I brought it in and the straps wouldn't stay up. When I said I didn't think it fit she gave me body tape as a solution. Additionally, the slip she ordered was also too full for the dress. Lastly the bustle was very expensive, left the dress still dragging on the floor and was not pretty to look at. In the end I still paid over $500 and had to take it elsewhere to be redone including buying a new slip, re bustling, fixing the straps and getting an inch taken off each side seam.
Sharon is fantastic. My dress fit better than I could have imagined. She is great at what she does and I had total confidence that my dress would turn out great!

her wonderful work! She also helped to make my veil and headband out of parts of my gown and my mom's wedding gown. I couldn't have imagined anything more perfect. I was so happy with everything she did for me and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!!
Sharon was FANTASTIC to work with! Professional, timely, considerate and amazing at her job. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat!
Sharon is amazing at what she does! I was panicked about my dress not fitting but she quickly put me at ease and it fit perfectly in just one fitting! She's awesome! :)
