We did not have to do anything, they took care of it all! During (and after) the reception we got tons of compliments on how good and hot the food was and how good the wait/bar staff was. The after hours pizza was fantastic too. People thought we had ordered out. I would 100% recommend Tundra Lodge as a wedding vendor.

The food was all very delicious from the rehearsal buffet, to the appetizers, and of course our plated dinner. Everything ran smoothly, and everything was on time. The venue doesn’t charge a venue fee, they only have a food and beverage minimum that is dependent on which ballroom you choose, season, and day of the week. My husband and I chose our location thinking we would have approximately 120 guests, and unfortunately due to inflation and other factors we had less than half of the number actually come. At first we were really struggling with certain factors of the wedding experience, but Laura was incredibly helpful in providing ideas and helping us patch the problems that arose. She helped us figure out a set up that made our small wedding feel cozy rather than empty, as well as how to meet the food and beverage minimum with less than half occupancy. The Lodge also has great incentives to book with them. The bride and groom as well as both sets of parents received a free room the night of the wedding. (She was also gracious enough to give us a major discount on our honeymoon suite for a few days after as well!) They also offer two votives, and a mirror free of charge for decorating, linens and chairs. (We didn’t use any of the decor but I was able to see it during our meetings and they were of nice quality.) If you opt for a Friday or Sunday wedding they also throw in a free champagne toast during the cocktail hour as well as champagne for the head table and two additional tables. The free champagne during our cocktail hour was a MAJOR hit with our guests. Friday and Sunday weddings will also have a discount on dinner. We had a Friday wedding and all of these amenities were greatly appreciated and enjoyed by our guests. The staff in general was unbelievably accommodating with every last detail. They were able to work with us on our cake pick up and drop off, extending our stay, as well as lighting and air for the day of. No matter what request we made they were able to fulfill in spades to make our day that much more enjoyable. I am floored by the excellent customer service! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the ballrooms are already beautiful and don’t require much to decorate. If you have a lot of guests with children this is also a great option as they will LOVE the water park. We were able to stick around for a couple extra days and enjoy the park with family and friends. All of which raved about the amenities. There are a lot of options for food and the menu is very customizable. I remember during out menu tasting, my husband and I were absolutely blown away by how delicious it was. The food was also one of the best compliments of our guests as well. There are also many customizable options for other treats, such as a smores bar (which was a riot for the kids attending) , appetizers and much more. We were also able to have a buffet included in our minimum that covered our rehearsal dinner. Overall the food was well made, delicious, and incredibly accommodating. I HIGHLY suggest picking the Tundra Lodge for your stay. It is easily the best decision we made other than saying “I Do!”

She also rolled with the punches the day of our wedding. We had our ceremony at Tundra which all of our guest raved about. They loved the convivence of everything at one location. The day of our wedding we were supposed to start our cocktail hour at 5pm but our ceremony got done faster than expected. We spoke with Laura and started it a half hour before we anticipated. She made sure everything was running smoothly throughout the whole day. Also, having it at Tundra Lodge allowed all of our family and friends to stay at one location and not have to worry about driving. Overall, I would highly recommend Tundra lodge.

uld recommend this venue to any couple that is wedding planning, or anyone in general that is looking to throw a party that will give them enough happy memories to last for a lifetime. My husband and I began wedding planning in March of 2020, right before we went into a state of emergency due to the pandemic. We booked with the Tundra the weekend the SOE went into effect. With the ever changing rules and regulations when it came to hotel openings, closings, max occupancy, etc. we were often left with questions of “is our wedding still possible”. The Tundra Lodge staff always made sure the answer was “yes, your day is possible”. This was such an important venue for us to have, because we wanted to make sure we could have a venue that could accommodate all of the families with younger children (even though all the friends our age ended up in the water park and arcade the most!) Jamie, the director of catering, was always readily available to respond to emails, calls, and requests. She was extremely accommodating to anytime we wanted to tour, add things for our rehearsal and gift opening, as well as early check-ins for our guests. Words cannot express my gratitude towards her during these unprecedented times. The morning of our wedding The Tundra Lodge was contacted by our bakers that faced a family emergency, and would not be able to deliver our deserts. Both Jamie and Jason, the general manager, came together to work with my husband on next steps. Jason went out of his way to make a trip to go get us cookies, cupcakes, and a cut cake. He made sure they were personalized the way we wanted. They both went above and beyond to make everything work. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about our deserts as well! Our ceremony room was gorgeous, and once again, The Tundra did everything they could to ensure we could fit as many guests as they could within limits. The reception space was even better. They let us in at the times that we requested so we could start decorating early. Jamie, once again, was there again for us asking if we needed anything. The food itself was to die for. Our guests often complimented things like the green beans and baked potatoes, saying they were the best they ever had. During the reception the catering staff was absolutely amazing. They were so kind to all of our guests and nothing but good things were said about how fun and nice they were. Even towards the end of the night the bartender at Yukon Jacks came downstairs to ask if we’d like the bar open for guests after the wedding was over. All in all, there was no other venue I would have wanted for such a special day. They really went above and beyond at all costs to make sure we were taken care of. This was a venue and staff that really put us and our happiness above everything, and that’s what every person deserves.

It was so nice! We were very luck to be able to start decorating a couple days before the wedding and everything turned out perfect! The staff was amazing during the whole night! They also let us have the hall until 1:00 am due to it being New Years Eve and that was amazing also!!

ue, who was WONDERFUL! I was nervous about working with someone new at first but Sue quickly put me at ease, and I was excited again! Unfortunately, a week or two before the wedding I got a call that Sue had an emergency surgery and I was working with another individual. Jamie was also great to work with, and in the days leading up to the wedding I was handling it all in stride. I had made them aware that I was going to be decorating the ballroom the night before the event and was told that would be fine as it was a Friday wedding. When it came time to head down to start decorating at 9pm on Thursday (the time we had agreed upon) there was essentially NOTHING done beyond tablecloths. Luckily, Ricky (the bar manager) and someone from the front desk were able to help us get the tables skirted and get things rolling. At the end of the day everything turned out alright. There were a few more minor issues (our package included a whirlpool suite for us the night of the wedding, which we didn't get, but I was too tired to care). I appreciated the help the night before and can understand that with the staffing changes there would have been a few problems. Overall it was a beautiful location and assuming your wedding is not a walking case of Murphy's Law (as mine was) it is a wonderful location!

eception to be close to where they were staying for convenience sake. Of course, I also wanted a gorgeous reception venue with delicious food with plenty of spirit. The Tundra delivered on all counts. Planning from afar with Kerry was incredibly simple. I did go up for a visit once to do a food tasting, and I was easily accomodated. Otherwise, it was easy to communicate via phone and email. The Tundra also coordinated with all my other vendors to make sure that everything was where it was supposed to be, when it was supposed to be. The day of, the ballroom was gorgeously decorated, and my parents and family friends were able to go in to update with a few more personal touches. Everyone was easy to work with, the servers were pleasant and quick, and all of my guests loved it. It came with a gift opening breakfast, which was very low key and a great way to gather with people before everyone took off. Additionally, the night of the wedding the room for the bride and groom is comped, with a hot tub and an additional treat! I loved it and would recommend it to everyone. Plus, there's a water park!

the chance to swim in the water park, which was well staffed with lifeguards. (Note water park is ideal for the under 10 age group. The few teenagers found it small.) Friday night's family/rehearsal dinner was pizza & soda in a room right off the water park - the kids didn't even have to get out of their swimsuits. The Tundra Lodge had many options for room accommodations, including some suites with private sleeping rooms for parents. The reception's dinner was served "family style" so parents did not have to supervise kids in the buffet line. The Tundra accommodated our request for milk to be served on the table with the meal, making for some very happy moms. The Tundra's staff was very accommodating of our special requests, particularly Kerri, the event manager. We had a beer tasting with microbrews at the bar during the reception. They made a specialty cheese & sausage platter for our appetizers with truly gourmet cheeses, and it was well displayed. The food was even better at the wedding than during our tasting. The cake was delivered 3 hours late, but no one knew because the Tundra was so professional in getting it cut and displayed. My husband is a hunter & fisherman, so he loved the truly rustic atmosphere of the lodge. I enjoyed the service and ease of planning. Our guests had a great time! Now the kids have started asking if we'll get married again so they can go back to the water park. :)

as fantastic. The staff was friendly and prompt will the service. The event coordinators were very accommodating. The food was wonderful! We served a family style dinner. My guests couldn't believe how fast everyone was served dinner!The servers were quick with the meal to all tables and made sure everyone had enough to eat. We also served pizza at 10:00, which were great. The venue is truly beautiful! From the lighting, to the fireplace, and Christmas tree (December) it looked fantastic. Elegant is the best word that I can use. We also chose to have our rehearsal dinner at the Tundra, since many of our guests were staying there. We were all very pleased with our rehearsal dinner. The food was great and the room (a smaller room downstairs) worked out well for our large bridal party to have dinner. Finally, many of our guests stayed at the resort. They were all very happy with their rooms. Our room was also fantastic. We were surprised to find a complimentary treat when we returned that evening. Along with many of our guests, we also enjoyed the waterpark. Family fun for everyone. Without hesitation, I would recommend the Tundra for a wedding venue!

Our hotel event planner checked on us a few times throughout our night & we even got a visit from the head honcho before our festivities began. The planner was eager to help & keep things moving along; but how can you not want to be super available & helpful with somebody who is going to spend a lot of money at your business? Another plus about having our event at the Tundra was that our guests had access to more fun; at the indoor waterpark! My husband & I also liked the log cabin look of half of the place, & classy look of the rest of it. I think most people would be pleased to have their wedding here.
