Not only is this the dreamiest venue I have ever seen but the staffing is incredible. From our first exploratory visit all the way until after wedding day, we felt like a top prio...
rity and so special. The whole process was so simple and if I could do it all again, I would choose Trump winery over and over.
Courtney, the event manager at Trump is absolutely phenomenal! She went above and beyond for us when one of our guest who is wheelchair accessible decided a week and a half before ...
the wedding that they were coming. She had everything needed to make it smooth sailing and accessible. She always answered my emails in a timely manner. She is the BEST!
We recently eloped at Trump Winery in Charlottesville, and we can’t say enough about how incredible our experience was. From start to finish, the level of service we received far e...
xceeded our expectations. Every staff member we worked with was outstanding, making us feel truly special on our big day.
The venue itself is breathtaking. The chapel on the property is unlike anything we’ve ever seen—it’s intimate, photogenic, and awe-inspiring. The fresco on the ceiling is absolutely one of a kind; we couldn’t find anything like it anywhere else we considered. The balcony and expansive bay windows create stunning backdrops for photos, while the pews and altar add the perfect touch of elegance.
We were fortunate to work with Aaron Watson Photography, and he was an absolute pro. Despite the weather challenges we faced, he captured the most incredible photos that we’ll treasure forever.
The package we chose included beautiful flowers and an officiant, making our day seamless and special. We also stayed at the Albemarle Estate, which was equally extraordinary. The grounds, the amazing rooms, and the charming cabin where we stayed all added to the magic of the experience. One of the best aspects of the estate is its intimacy and exclusivity. With only around 11 rooms on the property, it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves, especially being married on New Year’s Eve.
We feel so fortunate to have hosted our wedding at Trump Winery. The uniqueness of the chapel and the stunning beauty of the grounds far exceeded any other property we researched or visited. From start to finish, the entire elopement package provided unparalleled value for such a luxurious experience. For under $10,000, our package included the wedding coordinator, the chapel venue, the officiant, the photographer, all flowers, hair and makeup (with the stylist coming directly to our cabin), two nights in the cozy cabin, the wedding dress and tuxedo, and all the incredible meals we enjoyed in the fine dining room. Everything was curated perfectly to create an stress-free, magical day that we will never forget.
We couldn’t have been more impressed or pleased with how our wedding turned out. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience, and we would give our absolute highest recommendation to hosting your wedding at Trump Winery in Charlottesville. It was nothing short of perfection!
Amazing venue. Loved the winery, cidery, on-site chapel and estate. We had rehearsal at the cidery. Wedding in the chapel and luncheon celebration afterwards at the winery. We had ...
a private dinner and stayed at the estate. Breathtaking views and bougie room. Each entity has a point person you can work with.
The most beautiful venue ever! We used the Grand Cru ballroom for our reception and the Chapel for the ceremony. All of the recommended vendors were awesome. The most perfect weddi...

We had a Monday wedding for 75 at Trump Winery & got married in their chapel and had a reception in the barn & pavilion. It was picture perfect but could not have been pulled off w...
ithout our wedding planner (Hannah Rose Design). She knew the venue like the back of her hand as she has worked with multiple people at the venue in the past. Our venue “coordinator” quit a week before our wedding, but again Hannah made the day perfect. The location itself is picturesque and we loved every minute of our wedding. There’s nothing like the chapel, it’s intimate and the closest I’ve ever felt to being a real princess and living out a fairytale for the day. Book this venue (just hire a great planner like Hannah)!!
My husband and I chose Trump Winery for our wedding venue because we wanted a chapel for the ceremony and a barn for the reception. Luckily, Trump Winery had both, so best of both ...
worlds! We are very happy with our decision because some guests danced on the dance floor while others went outside on the patio to talk and enjoy the winery views. It can be difficult to talk while there's music blasting.
Beth Zitzman, the Events Manager at Trump Winery, was very helpful and friendly from the venue tour to throughout the wedding planning process to the day of the wedding.
Trump Winery does have strict vendor rules. One being the caterer has to be a vendor from their Preferred Vendor List, which is listed on the contract. The other vendors don't have to be from the Preferred Vendor List, but they have to be approved by Beth after the vendor fills out two vendor forms and adds Trump Winery as an additional insured company on their certificate of insurance. This process wasn't too bad as all the vendors I chose that weren't on Trump's Preferred Vendor List got approved.
For a sparklers exit, Trump Winery requires galvanized buckets and sand for the used sparklers. Trump Winery also requires a day of coordinator. Cody Smith was my day of coordinator and she's the best! She's very familiar with Trump Winery and has been in the wedding industry for years. Cody is so on top of things and responds really quickly to emails and texts. She made my wedding absolutely seamless!
All my guests told me they really enjoyed the wedding and the venue was wonderful. I was awestruck when I saw all my photos, beautiful and classic venue!
After experiencing several venues around town not responding in a timely manner, finding "hidden fees" throughout the contract process, and changing their availabilities, working w...
ith Trump Winery was an incredible breath of fresh air.
Trump Winery provided the most stunning backdrop to our special day, while providing impeccable service and support.
Perfect from start to finish!
We were looking for a winery venue in Charlottesville for our wedding, and did a thorough search. Trump winery seemed to have the best amenities and conveniences. When we toured it...
, we could not imagine having it anywhere else. The chapel is stunning! The atmosphere is so green and beautiful for photos. We used the barn and pavilion for our reception as we had a smaller guest count of 75. Our experiences with the winery staff were excellent. They are timely and organized. They have really everything you need right there so there is less planning and things you have to bring in. We felt it was a great value for the price. All of our guests keep telling us how beautiful it was there. It was a quick trip from downtown Charlottesville where our out of town guests were staying. We would so highly recommend hosting a wedding at Trump Winery.
The Barn/Pavilion and Chapel could not have been more perfect. Our guests were blown away by the venue/s. It was truly a fairy tale wedding and we all wish we could do it all again...
! The staff were great to work with - shoutout to Beth for her stellar coordination.
FAIRY TALE WEDDING VENUE!! The property, facilities, views, wine & staff are all the best in Charlottesville. Everything was perfect.
I strongly recommend getting married at Trump Winery- it is the most stunning venue! Our wedding day was a dream come true, we got married in the chapel and used the barn and pavil...
ion for the cocktail hour and reception. Plus, Beth (the venue events manager) is absolutely amazing to work & goes above and beyond for you!

orgeous views during cocktail hour, the guest were amazed. Beautiful ballroom for the evening. Trump wine is absolutely delicious! Guest were raving about how beautiful everything was. I would suggest Hannah Dubit as your wedding planner, did an outstanding job at this venue for us.
We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding location with the gorgeous views and amazing venue options. We were able to have separate locations for our ceremony, cocktail ...
hour, and reception making each part of the day unique. The chapel is like a quaint fairy tale chapel, the barn with the patio opening to the lake was ideal for cocktail hour, and the pavilion was perfect for the reception with a built in bar and open layout with a great dance floor! A special thank you to event coordinator, Beth, who went above and beyond all day.
The Trump Winery is absolutely breathtaking and has everything you are envisioning. Whether you prefer an outdoor ceremony looking over the rolling hills/vineyards or a ceremony in...
their chapel, which looks like it was transported from Italy. For the reception you have the glamorous and elegant grand hall with 3 ballrooms to choose from or the Barn situated on the lake. The team was fabulous!
An amazing property with majestic views of rolling hills and endless vineyards. The property is chalked full of both interesting history and modern happenings. It’s nestled in the...
heart of VA wine country along the Monticello Wine Trail. Only minutes away from Jefferson's historical Monticello, James Monroe's Ash Lawn-Highland, etc. It was an outstanding venue for our guests who appreciated its history and beautiful architecture. The staff was extremely helpful & accommodating as we presented our wedding vision that included an outdoor ceremony, live band, fireworks and more!
Beautiful location. The Barn & Pavilion were definitely what we were looking for and everyone loved the view. Patrick was easy to work with and everything just flowed together.
Absolutely stunning scenery and venue! Getting married in the little white chapel was a dream and the barn, pavilion, patios, everything are so elegant. Patrick was awesome to work...
with and made coordination a breeze.
This venue by far exceed our expectations with professionalism, accessibility, and caring to our specific wants. Best wedding venue in Charlottesville, VA by far.
Trump Winery was all we could've asked for in a venue and more. The venue is extremely practical for guests and beyond beautiful; it's a great representation of what central Virgin...
ia has to offer. Below are a few details about the venue and its event staff that are the reason for my five-star review:
Patrick Butler and the staff at Trump always went above and beyond. My father is in a wheelchair and we had a few special requests to make the wedding day go as smoothly for him as possible; Patrick was accommodating and utterly professional at every turn. He was extremely responsive to every email and query anyone involved with our wedding sent, and allowed us to visit the venue as many additional times as we needed during our planning process.
Both my husband and I are Catholic, and having a Catholic mass was important to us. The Chapel at Trump is a space for all denominations, but is also a sanctioned Catholic chapel, meaning that any Catholic priest will perform a wedding mass there. This made the day easy for our guests; they didn't have to go between a church and a reception venue, and we didn't have to worry about potential congestion/traffic due to other events in the Charlottesville area--Trump Winery was truly one-stop shopping for both our mass and reception venue.
Trump Winery is truly a stunning venue in any season. There are many natural environments in one area, which was great for the overall "look" of our wedding and our wedding photos. If you're planning a fall wedding in Virginia, the views here can't be topped!
Working with Trump Winery was one of the best experiences I had in planning my wedding, and I'd highly recommend them to other engaged couples.
The best place to get married in Virginia. The space is gorgeous, the event planner is helpful and you can't beat the winery views at sunset.
I attended a friend's wedding here and I can't say enough about how beautiful the scenery (and wedding of course) was! Everything ran very smoothly and we had a wonderful experie...

'd highly recommend!
We live in Hampton Roads, and as my fiancé and I drove to Charlottesville to tour Trump's event spaces, he wondered if anyone would make the drive to get to our wedding. But after ...
we pulled in to the drive and saw the Barn and Pavilion across the lake, he suddenly was all for it! So beautiful. We loved the ability to use all three of their spaces together--the Barn, the Pavilion and the Chapel. We got the best of all worlds..."classy" rustic for the barn, fancy for the Pavilion, and a truly breathtaking religious ceremony in the chapel. When we first entered the chapel, we were both spell-bound. So, so beautiful, the lighting is incredible, and I LOVED the white and grey tones in there. We were just blown away with all of the options. We had the gorgeous hallway, beautiful bathrooms, large bridal suite, the comfortable club room, and gorgeous patio overlooking the vineyard and the lake/willow tree with the Barn; and in the Pavilion we had gorgeous crystal chandeliers and sconces, a fabulous dance floor, beautiful bathrooms, a magnificent, huge bar, windows everywhere for gorgeous views of the vineyard and the lake, and another beautiful patio with great seating that overlooked the vines and the willow tree/lake. We worked mostly with Patrick, who at every contact was professional, helpful and always kind. He had great suggestions and is truly experienced in helping you imagine your perfect wedding day. On our wedding day, he was very helpful and caring, and took care of us and our vendors always. Our wedding was truly a perfect, magical, spectacular day. Everything went without a hitch, and our guests were blown away with the views, the facilities, the staff and the Trump wine. Many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. We just so loved and appreciated getting all that we wanted--rustic, formal, and a gorgeous, gorgeous ceremony in that chapel. Thank you so much for a perfect, memorable day.
We had our ceremony and reception at the Barn and Pavilion at Trump. This place was a gem! We stopped by to look at it after thinking we had maybe found a venue, but wanted to see ...
it just because. We instantly knew we would be getting married at Trump. From the moment we stepped foot in the office we felt welcome, and were assisted in a very professional and friendly manner. Trump Winery and Patrick (the event coordinator) were amazing to work with! Very easy going, very responsive and very organized. They were accommodating every time we brought family by to see the venue and were very responsive and organized for the walk-through with our vendors. We also got a couple of free wine tastings so were able to take our parents to one and some of our bridal party to one.
The condition of the venue the day of, the set up, everything, was perfect. The venue was clean and ready to go. You get the venue from 12pm until 11pm, 11 hours!!! We could not find another venue that let us in that early and leave that late. They even let us leave some cars and items there for pick up the next morning, which was very convenient and made our night less stressful.
They do require you buy a minimum of their wine, and use one of nine caterers listed in their contract. Outside of those requirements, they place was ours and we were able to do just about anything we wanted (within reason of course).
Our guests said the venue was one of the most beautiful they had ever been at for a wedding. We are still getting compliments about how nice everything at Trump was! And the photography potential and options on the property are extensive! The barn, pavilion, lake, vineyards, manor house, chapel all provide great places for AMAZING pictures!
Lastly, we felt Trump was the best value for our money. We opted for a Friday wedding to save some cash, and they were very reasonable with the price for the venue.
Have your wedding at Trump. You will NOT regret it at all!
I truly cannot imagine getting married anywhere else. I didn't even know a place like this existed in Virginia, it was just so gorgeous. Patrick was our favorite vendor that we w...
orked with. Our venue was the first decision we made in our wedding and Patrick helped us with every step after. He brought a full list of recommendations for other vendors in Virginia and he had a wealth of expertise in helping to choose them. He also always made himself available to us to look at the venue and take tours and show our families. It was incredible how much attention we got from him. On the wedding day, the Trump Grand Hall is a fantastic place to get married. It feels like you have your very own mansion complete with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, ballrooms, a beautiful bridal tower, a room shaped like a wine barrel, and a cozy reserve room with a giant fireplace. It was so unique and we received so many compliments on what a lovely venue it was. Hats off to the entire staff who maintains everything and especially to Patrick who coordinated everything from the beginning.
The venue was amazing and the staff was great to work with. We had our ceremony and reception at Trump's Barn and Pavilion. The outside setting for the ceremony was picturesque. It...
rained a little on our wedding day, but the ground by the pond was not soaking like we thought and you could barely tell it was raining all morning! Also, you could not see the road or hear cars on the road because of the setting and location of the site - it was in its own private and secluded area. The Pavilion was perfect for the reception. It was just the right size and the acoustics were great. Everyone at Trump Vineyard was professional and easy to work with. Specifically, we worked with Patrick who was fantastic and had great ideas! Wouldn't trade the site of our ceremony and reception for anything!
While working one weekend, my fiance and parents went venue hunting without me. My now-husband fell in love with The Carriage Museum (now the Grand Hall) and his passion for it co...
nvinced my dad that it was the place for us to get married. Patrick, the Event Manager at Trump, was unbelievably helpful throughout the process and answered all my questions quickly and kindly. He was very patient with our frequent requests to see the property since it was undergoing renovations at the time. The property is amazing and we had so much space we hardly knew what to do with it (we actually didn't use two of the ballrooms except as roaming space for guests). We got so many compliments on the day and I couldn't be happier that we decided on Trump Winery. The pictures are gorgeous and my photographer even put it on her 2015 Dream Venue List because it was her first time shooting there and she wants to go back! Thank you, Patrick, for your help along the way. Our day was perfect.

time was very quick. Day of service was top notch as well.
We did our shortly after the restoration of many of their buildings, and all the event spaces are in excellent conditions with top-notch support for the vendors as well. We had some showers day of, and the transition from outdoor to indoor went seamlessly.
Couldn't have asked for a better venue, would do it again. Would also enthusiastically recommend to others.
Such a beautiful venue!!! We loved having our wedding at Trump. Sarah Elizabeth is great to work with and so helpful!! We loved everything about Trump!
