Truly Forever Bridal Tampa & Sarasota

said I liked and didn’t like and I ended up buying the very first dress I tried on! Couldn’t recommend Laura and this shop more. Such a stress free and fun experience!

experience was extremely disappointing. I do NOT recommend at all. Let’s start at the beginning. I booked (and paid) for an appointment back in January. We arrived about 15 minutes early and we were impressed with the appearance of the shop. Once we told them about my appointment, they asked if we could take a seat and that our dress assistant was with another client and would see us soon. 30 minutes later, a woman offered us waters and said that it would be any minute now. At this point, it was only 15 minutes after our appointment so we kept chatting and waiting and waiting. We watched the clock as the minutes passed. We waited over an HOUR before they were finally ready for us. Mind you, the only update we received was when they were 15 minutes behind schedule. So at this point, we’re a bit annoyed. The lady I worked with was pleasant. She helped me find a few dresses to try on. The only thing that saved the day is that I actually found a dress that I loved! She told me that I could order the dress since my wedding was 12+ months away. So I agreed (I also didn’t want a dress that dozens of other women had tried on). So before I could get my dress the seamstress had to come to take “official” measurements and she was very rude. No smiles, no little conversation exchanges. Anyway, we made our way up to the counter and we were checking out. When the woman told me my total, I had questioned her about it because 1) there was a sale going on in the store and 2) the price was way higher than what was written on the tag. And you know what? THEY ALMOST SOLD ME THE WRONG DRESS!!!! I seriously could not believe how careless they were. Thank god I was paying attention or who knows what I would have done when the wrong dress showed up. After I paid for the dress, I asked the woman to confirm that she put the appointment fee towards my dress…ooops she forgot! Really? At this point, I’m beyond frustrated. It’s just one thing after another. The woman told me that my card would be refunded for the appointment. Three weeks later, I had not actually been refunded. I had to call the store and surprise, surprise, they actually had an issue on the day & failed to notify me. Fast forward to June. I’m told that my dress would arrive in June and by the last day of the month, I was getting a little worried as I hadn’t heard from them. I gave them a call and my dress was there! Yay! I made an appointment and I was told that I would get a text confirmation. Two weeks later, no text confirmation. I called the store to confirm my appointment and they didn’t have it booked. At this point, I am beyond livid. I asked to speak to a manager. I explained everything that had gone wrong and how frustrated I was with this experience. She had no comments about my experience other than oh that’s not what we want for our brides.. she was able to get my appointment scheduled for the original date and time that had been discussed. The day of my special order pick up, I went in, tried my dress on and was just ready to leave. The woman that helped me was friendly. Finally, I had to sign some forms for the dress and on one of the forms was the date that my dress arrived to the shop. Want to take a guess? Back in May. Yet no one called to let me know. Bad experience- avoid if possible!

ey have a great space to have some guests with you and the experience of going “shopping” to make initial choices to try on with an assistant really helped. I didn’t feel like I was forced to look at one or two dresses, but rather could explore my options. They also did my alterations and they were great. The only issue I had was some bussling came undone but this dress was extremely fluffy so I am not entirely surprised nor was I upset about it. Definitely a bridal store to check out.

d information laying out on a sticky note by the computers. I could see because it literally had numbers and an expiration date on the paper. The experience my brothers fiancé had was horrible. I saw all of these positive reviews on Google and that is why I booked it, when I talked to them about my card information and why they had that information just laying out (which was not my information they clarified that they had just taken that card down) but regardless it is insanity they write that down on PAPER! We stayed for her appointment and I was reading that you get $5 off for a 5 star review ! No wonder the reviews are incredible… The bathrooms were disgusting , for a high end bridal salon you would expect that the bathrooms wouldn’t look the way they do. Dirt on the floors, hair, the trash was all the way up to the top. There was also a mop sitting out by the bathrooms when I went in and I looked down and the water was dirty and it smelled as if they don’t change the water in there. I saw two roaches as the stylist was taking us through the dresses on the bags… I mean I get it’s Florida but wow on the actual dresses? Where this place is located is near Nebraska avenue and I tried to give it a chance when I walked in even after they had “explained” about my card information and why it was charged a week later. This place is a disgrace. Please take this place off of The Knot. We spoke to the owner for a small duration of our time there and she was just this people pleasing person but I heard so many things about her as I do work in the bridal industry and her staff does not think highly of her , only the people that meet her in passion or in marketing events is when they have a good experience. I know several people that have worked here and the testimonies of their stories is horrible. Very glad my sister -in-law to be did not purchase her dress here and found a wonderful place in south tampa to accommodate for such a beautiful day. I am going to leave them a positive review on here but I needed to leave my peace on this place.

not expecting to leave with my dream dress that day and I'm so glad I did. My fittings went so well too, I felt like I was in a fairytale! Would absolutely recommend this shop to all future brides!

ormed multiple time that the cost should not be much then, and then I get a call about a week later informing me that my one alteration (buttons) will cost half the price of the dress I bought. And that is just to buy the buttons not even having them put on. What they told me in the store and what they told me after was completely misleading and very misinforming. If my consultant didn’t know the price of the buttons she should have told me, not just say they won’t be much.

:)

re. The dresses are tried on every day and when I walked in to the bathrooms there was hair and dirt all over the floors.. my cousins assistant was nice but the place was not impressive and she was really disappointed on not finding her dress as her wedding at that time was very close to the date.

rack so they have been tried on the girl ensured me they kept them in “pristine” condition as the owner says to tell the brides as she verbalized this to me. Since she was sweet I stayed because I wanted to find my dress so bad that day. Every dress I tried on had a missing hook and eye and she had a hard time zipping it up. One of the last dresses I had tried on the actual zipper was caught on the mesh or fabric and as soon as she got the zipper from the fabric the inside of the mesh was torn. I don’t blame her because I could tell she felt under pressure as she reassured me that they could get it fixed. I don’t think I have ever needed to know about mesh to know it’s close to impossible to fix that. I honestly came here because the reviews were extremely high and overwhelming but I was so excited to find my dress. When I walked in the bathroom there is a sign that says $5 off per 5 star review so now I fully understand why the reviews were that high. Again the girl was super sweet but The actual experience there with the dresses had me extremely disappointed. My friend came here to look for her dress and this same thing happened to her. Don’t go here it really bruised my experience and expectations on looking for a dress.

g. We drank Mimosa’s & listened to music. Jayden our bridal consultant was wonderful. She was kind, attentive and picked up fast on what Style I was into and looked best on me. Everyone we met was so nice. The shop is very clean and you have a lot styles/sizes to choose from. Be Open to trying on a style you did not think you would like if you haven’t already. I also want to say I did not notice any signs posted, even on the bathroom, to write a good review and you get discounts 🤷‍♀️ . I think it’s wonderful that they have a military discount. My fiancé is a Veteran submariner and I absolutely appreciated that. I recommend going to visit Jayden and the rest of their crew to find the most beautiful dresses and accessories from a great group and shop!

m doors, etc.) with offers for discounts and gift cards if you leave a good review, and they’re not just promoted to the bride, anyone from a wedding party can leave a “positive review” and get a discount on their purchase. I had the absolute worst experience buying my wedding dress from here, so much so that it has taken me 2 years to write a review because it makes me that upset. Staff were very kind and attentive until after I bought my dress, and then it was clear no one cared about my experience at all. By far the worst person to work with at this bridal store is the alterations woman who works in the back. She is technically not part of the store, but they send all of the store alterations to her. She was rude (made terrible comments about my body) and did a terrible job altering my dress and charged me almost a thousand dollars to bring up the hem and insert cups on a plain white dress (no beading or lace). I knew altering could be expensive, but it wasn’t until I had my second dress altered at a different place that I realized how much she overcharged me. She was able to get away with overcharging me twice, telling me that this was the only time I’d have to pay for alterations and we would just keep working together and everything would be covered with this one bill. She said she could fix an issue within the waist of the dress, and for my second fitting it was still present and when I asked for it to be fixed she told me she would have to charge me again because she already tried to fix it. I would highly discourage anyone from buying their dress from Truly Forever Bridal. This is such an important day, and I regret my choice in working with this place, it impacted my wedding day and all of my photos (the issues were never resolved) and I had a much better experience at White Magnolia for my reception dress.

ke home any dress I found at my appointment. That felt like a big relief before getting there, and then after walking into the gorgeous and sparkly store I felt even more excited for my first (and last!) time trying on dresses. My consultant, Alexa, listened to what I was looking for, moved at my pace, provided some input while primarily listening to me and my family's thoughts, and shared in my excitement throughout the process. She was patient, and made me feel so secure in my decision-making. I never felt pressured or rush to choose, and that helped me feel confident in picking out my dress and veil! The extra personal touches throughout and after the appointment were icing on the cake. For an out of town bride, being able to leave with my dress in hand made it even better. For anyone wanting a custom experience in a gorgeous shop, with take-home options, this is your place!

forfeit the amount I paid. ($2000) I asked to speak with the owner and the manager laughed and said that “the owner doesn’t talk to brides” “good luck” Extremely rude. This is for my wedding day! I reached out on a Facebook platform in Tampa and several brides shared bad experiences with them.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go anywhere else when it came to their Tampa location. These girls are amazing at what they do & know how to make you feel beautiful in anything you try on!

get to take it home that day! I recommend this boutique to everyone!

slightly nervous and overwhelmed as this was the first (and only ) store I went to , but I had a great experience with Teresa and she helped me feel at ease and understood the look I was going for. Also, Truly Forever Bridal had always been on my radar knowing that they had such a large selection I was certain I was bound to find a dress I would love , and I did! Thank you Truly Forever Bridal and Teresa for a great experience !!

new how to make me feel sure that I found the one. Needless to say I said yes to dress at Truly!

roduced herself we were going to click and this experience was going to be great! Myself, my mom, as well as all my bridesmaids LOVED her. We found some dresses, and I played it safe with most but she found a gem & from there they kept coming. She worked so well with my style and budget. I cannot praise her enough and thank her for finding THE dress 💛 The Diamond Suite was perfect & exactly what I wanted for the day! So so happy with this store and their amazing staff! Cannot recommend this store enough!!!

ng her for not noticing it earlier?!?!? How could anyone see a rip that was on their back?? Shouldn’t the sales person have seen it???? On top of that! She had already signed and left a deposit for her alterations apt for THIS dress. Once she realized the dress had RIPS she of course asked for a different dress or refund for both charges!? THEY REFUSED and said they’d give her 20% off another dress at the store??? The audacity?!?! They are trying to steal more money from her???? They knew we are only 3 weeks out from our wedding too. So they are using this slimy scam to take advantage of our loved ones. They did this scam in a calculated time frame and thought we wouldn’t notice?! How dare they!! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! They will try this same trick on you!!

ked me questions about what I wanted (surprisingly, this was something the other places never did). She went to the showroom with me and went by dress by dress. The attention and support was out of this world. Kayleen, if you read this, yet again THANK YOU! You helped make this moment everything I envisioned it to be.

orry about shipping delays was such a weight off my back! Alterations at the salon with Kelli was the cherry on top! I am so happy to have found my dress at Truly Forever Bridal!

nalized touches that made me feel so special. I had a few ideas of dresses I liked but had never tried on dresses and I was so worried my body wasn't going to look great in the styles I was gravitating toward. Kayleen was AMAZING. So nice, so fun and REALLY KNOWS HER DRESS STYLES. We chatted for a few minutes and she really honed in on my personality and style. I was initially overwhelmed having never tried a wedding dress on but she made it so fun. She even pulled a dress that she thought I would love and sure enough the first dress I tried on ended up being THE ONE. It was perfect for my event and personality. We still had fun making sure by trying on the other dresses but I ended up totally in love with an unexpected style that I would've missed out on without Kayleen. I cannot wait to marry my guy in this dress. I felt wonderful the whole time and I'm still on cloud 9. I've never felt so beautiful in all of my life. Felt like the dress was made for me and it was such a fun experience. PLUS SIZE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE. TONS OF OPTIONS! I said yes!

. 😂 However, Kayleen made the entire appointment perfect. She was understanding, attentive, and patient. I’m plus size, so I was worried I wouldn’t have much to try on in store. Kayleen pulled at least 10-15 dresses for me and I would say about 10 dresses in I was starting to feel like I wouldn’t find the one. She went back to the racks and came back with a dress she thought I’d love. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. The second I put on the last dress and saw myself in the mirror, I lost it! I knew it was the one and I said yes immediately. Kayleen brought me a few veils to try on and before I knew it, I was saying yes to the dress. I would 100% recommend Truly Forever Bridal AND especially Kayleen to help you find your dream dress with ease. Thank you!!

e worked her butt to find more black dresses. Yes, you read that right. I was looking at their options for black dresses. We had a load of fun and I was comfortable due the whole process that let my goofy side show off. I had her laughing! She wasn’t pushy about anything and I appreciated that cause I’ve been to other salons with friends getting married and those women push hard like car salesman. After many dresses, I found the one by accident… yes… when we saw the price. Honey I wasn’t about to let that slip through my fingers. Now the only thing was how to sneak the dress home without him trying to look at the dress. It was a mission. Kayleen you’re awesome!

on of dresses that you can walk home that day with, which appealed to me. I didn't want the risk of ordering a dress and trying on samples, since my wedding was coming up in a few months. From the start, Rebekah listened to exactly what I was looking for and truly was a pleasure to work with. She's a fairy godmother of wedding gowns and has tons of experience- evidenced by how quickly I could try on all of the dresses. She had me rate each dress I wore, and encouraged a few different shapes of dresses to confirm that my dress was the one. Her advice for wedding day details was invaluable, and the veils she chose to match the dress were perfect. You really can't get a better consultant. It was my first time every trying on wedding dresses, and I walked home with a dress and veil that are more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed!! Huge thanks to Truly Forever and to Rebekah for being an integral part of this day for me! A couple last details- Truly Forever is also budget friendly with very reasonable pricing. We even went through the sales rack and found good options to try on which I would’ve loved if I hadn’t already found my dream dress. Plus, I left with a packet of informative papers and vendor recommendations which have already proved very helpful.

r you. They just didn't have a great selection for what I was looking for. They bill themselves as the largest bridal dress shop in Florida, and you buy out of their collection, which means you don't order a dress and wait months like most places. That's great if you're on a time crunch, but I had time so I didn't have a huge need to take the dress with me that same day. They'll also tell you that you'll get a 10% discount if you purchase on your first appointment. It felt a bit more of a high pressure sales pitch than any other dress shop I visited -- after all, when we're talking about $2,000 dresses, 10% is pretty significant. My stylist Nicole was really sweet and asked me what I was looking for, which was either A-line or fitted with a sweetheart neckline and either strapless or off-the-shoulder. For as big of a store as this was, there were surprisingly few dresses that fit the bill. We walked through the racks together to pick out dresses, which was nice -- although it has always been really tough for me to visualize a dress while it's on a hanger. They had SO many dresses that were either V-neck straps or had sleeves, which I didn't want. It was to the point that I got excited to see anything that had a sweetheart neckline. Ultimately we pulled about 6-7 dresses, although I didn't end up trying all of those on. One or two were so bad, I didn't ever leave the fitting room. However, there were two that I really did love, but there were issues with them. The first, I loved absolutely everything about it except the neckline was such a deep plunging sweetheart cut that it fit me so strangely -- and with the all-over lace, we just had no idea how it could be fixed. My future mother-in-law and Nicole both agreed that the material made it much more difficult to fix it. If not for that neckline, I very well may have purchased that dress because it was gorgeous. The second dress was also amazing but sadly too small -- and it was the only one they had. The tag said "one of a kind" which meant they couldn't even get another from the designer. If they could have, I likely would've gotten that one. It just wasn't meant to be.

special! The employee that helped us was so friendly and was truly listening to what I wanted in a dress. I ended up adding sleeves to my dress and the seamstress is one of the best I've ever seen! She did an absolutely amazing job on my dress and was genuinely invested in making sure it looked beautiful!

isappointed. The space was beautiful with PLENTY of room and seating. I had 10 friends and family members and everyone was comfortable. My consultant, Nicole, was so so helpful and so warm and welcoming to my whole group. She didn't try to push any style or dress onto me and she was supportive of all the decisions I made. I'm so grateful I found my dream dress at Truly Forever Bridal!

lled for me, I enjoyed walking the racks with Mindy to see every dress available, and there were endless options for me to choose from. As a plus-sized bride, being able to shop and try on dresses in my actual size made my wedding vision come to life without uncomfortable clamps and bungees. I found the perfect dress at an incredible price and I was able to walk out the door with it on the same day.

here!! My consultant was beyond amazing, she listened to me and what I needed. She pulled the perfect dress and was hilarious. 100/10 would recommend them to any bride!!

store was by par the best I've seen. Kayleen put me in my first dress and even though I had to try on a few more that was my YES dress. I'm so glad to be working with them, tlThank you for all of your love and support.

rdered from the designer which can take months. Kayleen was really friendly, patient, and fun to work with. She even stayed late to make sure I was happy with the veil and everything. It was so exciting and fun and Kayleen really made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for their wedding dress.

d me stay on track when I got distracted! I was comfortable throughout the appointment and truly felt my satisfaction with the dress was the only priority. I walked in doubtful I would find a dress, but Kayleen worked her magic and I left with the dress of my dreams! I'd highly recommend Truly Forever Bridal to anyone in the Tampa area.

stylist I had was so good at picking the perfect gowns for me! I was able to find my dream dress after only trying on three gowns. The staff all make you feel so welcome and beautiful! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place and am so thankful that I had such a positive experience.

pping for a wedding dress so I’m so glad I chose that place!! The inside is just beautiful! My bridal consultant Kayleen was a gem! She was attentive, wonderful and comforting! She listened to what I wanted and stayed within my budget! And honestly there was one point where after I tried on a few dresses, I was getting discouraged and trying not to show it, and then I asked Kayleen what are you supposed to feel, and then she asked me about my fiancé and asked if I remember when I felt he was the one, and she said it was similar to that. Not too long after, I found the one! I didn’t cry surprisingly, I guess I cry over others and movies than over myself lol but I did have that feeling and that bridal moment and it was the first time I had asked to try on a veil as well to make sure it was it and the first veil she picked was perfect and then I actually said YES to the dress! The cherry on top of all of it, was their “Fairy Godmother”, she saw my niece who will be 1 in April, and she later came back with a crown for her to try on and it was such an extra special moment for all of us! It was the perfect day and one I will truly never always remember and cherish! Thank you Truly Forever Bridal Tampa!

celebrated with me and my family. She even made sure that that dress was THE ONE. There are so many options there. Got to bring my dress home with me that day and looking forward to going in for my alterations! Truly a wonderful experience!

and was so disappointed I could not find anything that look similar to the Pronovias gown I had fallen in love with. I was about to give up, but my sister in law found Truly Forever Bridal and drove me to Tampa. The team was amazing and instantly assured me we would find something. My stylist was not wrong. They had my dress!! The first dress she had my try on was the Pronovias gown I had been searching for. I walked around in the store for nearly an hour, not wanted to take it off. They made my dreams come true! I can not thank this team enough for their patience, knowledge of their gowns, and support in finding my dream dress!!

make sure I didn't possibly miss one. I ended up buying the second dress I tried on. Once I chose my dress, I felt like royalty with all of the excitement. The alterations experience was exceptional. She took my dress from just a dress off the rack to MY dress, which perfectly fit me. The customer service with Truly Forever Bridal was so great that I didn't worry about a thing. I highly recommend Truly Forever to anyone looking for the perfect dress!!

ed like we were the only party in the store. Kayleen was my consultant. She nailed it! From the little get to know you show to putting everyone at ease. This was my only shopping trip. I was not planning on purchasing on the first trip. The first dress I tried on i fell in love with. In fact I tried it on 3 times. We asked for just 1 more her choice. It the the PERFECT dress! She really got to know meand my family during the 2 hours we were there it was such a special intimate experience. I said yes to the dress!

views and I KNEW that’s where I wanted to go. I had an amazing stylist/consultant helping me, Danielle! She was so sweet and really took her time to help me find what I was looking for. She was super gentle helping me in and out of each dress. And she was also very patient with me (as I am extremely indecisive lol!). At the end of the appointment, I ended up saying “YES” to the dress! And I even chose something I wouldn’t normally go for, but I fell in love. Danielle and the other ladies working that day made me feel so welcomed and I valued their opinions as everyone told me I looked amazing in the dress. Thank you Truly Forever for helping me with everything! ❤️ -Kaycie Elgart

s of dresses to choose from. I had a pretty set idea of what I was looking for and we were able to find tons of options. Dress shopping was not a stressful experience at all when you can twirl in the super frilly one just cause and don the tiaras cause why not! Oh and I ended up massively under budget but honestly that’s just a perk of a wonderful experience.

appointment with Truly Forever so I went anyway... and omg the experience was 10,000 times better than the other boutique! My stylist Kayleen had me running around in my robe speed grabbing dresses and had me laughing and feeling beautiful the entire time, she let me try on sooo many dresses and understood my style right from the beginning I ended up buying the second dress I tried on (after trying like 15). She also kept me on budget which was great. The experience was everything I hoped for :) 10/10 would recommend! p.s. my maid of honor also bought her dress there!!!

was looking for, she fit me in without an appointment, was a great listener, and helped me find my dream dress in my very first time in the store! I cannot thank Laura enough!

ing $700 to have it altered. I had them altered in the shoes I wore so there's no excuse for that. I was tripping on my dress and had to hold my dress up all night even with the bustle. I wish I didn't have to hold my dress while walking down the aisle, everyone noticed that it was far too long and because they scheduled me to pick up my dress 1 week before the wedding (absolutely their choice not mine, I was a take care of everything early bride) there wasn't anything I could do about it. you can find a gorgeous dress here but I would shop around for the alterations.
