Trai Matthew Films

Your wedding day happens once. Your film should make you feel like you’re back there every time you watch it. I’m Trai, the filmmaker behind Trai Matthew Films, formerly Bar None Films. I’ve been filming weddings since 2009, with nearly two decades of experience creating cinematic wedding films for couples throughout Pennsylvania and at destination weddings around the country. And when you book Trai Matthew Films, you’re booking me. I’m your filmmaker on the wedding day—not simply the person who sells you a package and sends a camera crew in my place. I’m personally involved in your film from the planning process through filming and editing, and I’m there to make sure the final film reflects the way I promised it would. My core filmmaking team has also worked alongside me for more than 10 years. We know how each other works, we know what moments to look for, and we’ve spent years developing a filmmaking style together. You’re not getting a collection of random freelancers who happen to be available that weekend. You’re getting an experienced team that knows exactly how to work together. My job isn’t simply to document what happened. It’s to tell the story of what it felt like to be there. That means capturing the way you looked at each other, the words your parents and friends said, the personalities that came out on the dance floor, the unexpected moments, and all the little things you were too busy getting married to notice. I’m constantly looking for those moments that turn a collection of footage into a film that actually feels like your wedding. For couples who want to give their guests something unforgettable, our Same Day Edit takes footage filmed earlier that day and transforms it into a cinematic film that premieres at the reception that very night. It isn’t just something you receive after the wedding—it becomes part of the wedding itself. For couples who want the complete story, our Feature Film goes well beyond a traditional highlight. At around 16 minutes, it gives us room to preserve the voices, personalities, relationships, speeches, emotions, and moments that make your wedding uniquely yours. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of filming weddings at venues throughout the region and at destination celebrations far beyond Pennsylvania. Every wedding is different, and that experience has taught me how to anticipate the moments that matter without making the day feel like a production. We’ve been honored to be recognized as Best of the Knot and Best of the Lehigh Valley, but after all these years, the best compliment is still when a couple watches their film and says: “That’s exactly how it felt.” Take a look through my work. If you want a wedding film that does more than show what happened—and actually brings you back to how it felt—I’d love to tell your story. — Trai
