ography. Not only did our pictures turn out absolutely stunning, but his photography skills were unlike anything I have seen. He knew exactly where we should stand, place our hands, place my bouquet, how I should look, what background we needed, etc...He guided us through the entire process. We didn't have to do ONE SINGLE THING, but show up!! By booking him, he now allows us to relive our wedding day over and over again from the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen, and they are from our wedding!!! He was incredibly easy to work with from beginning to end. We highly suggest booking Todd - he's worth every single penny!

ue 1.5 months before our wedding date as our previously booked photographer had put us in panic mode when she ignored all of our emails and calls. With the additional stress that that brought on, Ruth called me personally to clam my nerves and help me de-stress, it was incredible how she helped me through this wedding crisis and this was before I even decided I'd go with them. Definite deal-maker. Todd and Ruth are truly phenomenal people and so compassionate about their work -- this shows in their level of customer service as well as their product! Fast-forward to wedding day: I received so much feedback from our guests about how great Todd was when it came to organizing and directing our group shots at the church -- we even finished taking photos ahead of schedule! There was not a moment that Ruth was not by my side making sure I didn't have one hair out of place -- I would say this was a major bonus with booking them. I can't speak more positive or highly enough about Todd Rafalovich Photography! If I had to redo my wedding, I would have booked them from the get-go in a heartbeat!

Our family has grown and Todd has been there every step of the way. He has taken our family holiday photos for fifteen years. We have four kids ages three to thirteen so no easy feat, and our holiday card is the favorite of family and friends every year. Todd has an amazing eye and takes photos from unique angles, and captures outdoor scenery in a way that adds color, intrigue and style. He is a hundred percent reliable and wonderful to work with. Through his photography, Todd Rafalovich has created for us unique and special memories for a lifetime.

with photography, you can appreciate what an incredible skill this is. When we got back our photo proofs, I was absolutely astonished at the lack of "duds". I was viewing the photos on the proof sheet of the negatives and was astonished to see that every single photo was beautiful, amazing and breathtaking. This was not due to taking 5000 digital photos and deleting all but the best. I was viewing each and every photo he took through the negatives--in this somewhat older method of sharing photos, there is no ability to hide or delete poor photos--everything shows on the proof sheet. I know Todd does a lot of work in digital now, but the reason I am explaining this is for prospective couples to know that Todd is a true professional photographer, with an incredible eye for light, details and he truly makes every shot count. Since our wedding, we've continued to use Todd for our baby and family photos--ever since our first child was born. His photos always continue to amaze me. Another reason I love working with Todd is his fee structure. He provides you access to all the negatives and digital pictures and does not profit from print production. You can use his print company (which is wonderful and reasonably priced) or source it out on your own. So while Todd may seem more expensive than some photographers for the initial fee, the key thing to understand is the total package offered. My wedding photos are one of my most cherished possessions. Todd's photos are absolutely beautiful and I'm so happy we used him to capture our special day. You cannot go wrong with using Todd--he will meet or exceed all expectations (even for photography buffs like myself, who came with a very high expectation!) In short, 5 stars for Todd in every category.

know a photographer is special when you have your entire bridal party and many guests come up to us throughout the day congratulating us...for about ten seconds...and praising our photographer for the next minute =O Both the engagement shoot and wedding day photos came out incredible and with a quick turnaround time. Besides the product itself, Todd is such a happy person and easy and enjoyable to work with. In fact, as much as I normally dislike taking photos (my wife and her friends are nodding along very emphatically right now), I thoroughly enjoyed the engagement shoot. I even told him I wanted to do another shoot the next weekend! And have him take photos of our future baby! Umm, I’m not sure how I even got on that topic…but he really will be taking our baby’s photos one day :) Next, let’s talk about the wedding day. While the day didn’t go as perfectly as planned (that apparently never happens), Todd’s photos absolutely came out perfect. As for the few wedding day challenges, Todd’s wife, Ruth, was extremely comforting and helpful in smoothing out those few bumps. For example, when we left half our seating chart for the reception at home, *bam*, Ruth pops up with an iPad ready to grab it off my email. Wow! They really are quite the team. If you’re looking for an amazing photographer, Todd is THE answer ;)

needs and if you are clueless like we were, no worries! Todd has an eye for beauty, and is very creative about finding perfect locations. He will base on your outfits, times of the day, and weather to figure out the best place to shoot. Todd is a perfectionist, with great attention to detail. The weather was very windy during the shoot, and my hair was kinda of going all over the place. He and his assistant were constantly styling my hair and making sure that I was perfect in every shot. When we were at our last location, he laid down on the dirty wet sand in order to find the best angle to shoot us. He was really excited to show us the incredible moment he just captured and totally didn’t care about his clothes getting dirty. Todd and his assistant went above and beyond for us. We are very surprised that he edited the photos overnight and sent them to us the next day. There are so many mind-blowing pictures to choose from the hundreds original pictures we received. We are so lucky to have Todd as our photographer, we had a really good time with him and his assistant. They are very friendly and patient, made us really comfortable during the shoot. We highly recommend Todd to you.

He pulls off at once being tall/carrying lots of camera equipment AND being practically invisible during the events. Second - He is very patient/accommodating of both our wishes and those of our (not so easy to manage) parents. Third - He is an incredible value. Our photos were perfect, and Todd was there for every minute of our weekend, going far beyond the call of duty. No haggling over hours, etc. with him. Todd is a must-have for any Bay Area wedding.

idn't last, but the quality of Todd's photos did, so when I got engaged again last December, I reached out to him again. Next time I have an event that is professional photography worthy, I'll also call Todd. Here's why: - He's a REAL photographer - not a guy who thought it would be fun to take wedding photos on weekends. He's done fashion and other types of photography, too. Last time I worked with him, all of his photos were film-based. This time, he did mostly digital, but he did some film as well - He's incredibly talented - he's got an amazing eye and great ideas for unique shots. His photo composition is impeccable, and he does great black & white photos - He gives great instructions. When you're posing for him, he'll say things like "bring your right shoulder back a little" and "bring your chin forward a bit" - at the time it feels awkward and you wonder how that can possibly be a good thing - then you see the photos - WOW!!! - His pricing is all-in. When I first worked with him 12 years ago and compared him to other photographers, on the surface he seemed almost twice as expensive. But then you look at the other photographers - after the overtime fees, the exorbitant per-print fees, the fees to get your (back then) negatives or (now) digital files, etc., the others were generally more expensive, and their skill level wasn't even close to comparable. Todd has one price - no overtime or other fees. When he's done, he gives you all of your photos. Period. If you want prints or an album, he does that for you at his cost (and he's got a great lab that produces amazing prints) - He's very responsive to emails and phone calls, and he's just on it the day of the event. Our wedding was at the Monterey Bay Aquarium - a beautiful venue, but notoriously dark. I was worried about photos there and had seen photos online of other weddings - they were dark. I wouldn't've trusted those photos to anyone but Todd. He came early to take daytime/outdoor photos of us at the hotel. He arrived earlier than we'd agreed so he could scope the place out (even though he'd been there before). His assistant, Israel, was also very professional. He sent us over 2000 images in all, and he completely outdid himself. The photos were all spectacular!!

positioning you correctly to look your best. Todd was the most patient photographer ever. Our bridal party was a little restless, and he was able to control them and get them to stand still and take wonderful photos. Our engagement photos were breathtaking. They we romantic, and classic, and modern. We could not have been happier, and we used them for the invitations and table numbers, so it really paid off. Todd's photos are more than I had expected for my wedding. He is a calming person to have around you on your wedding day, and makes you feel beautiful! I would highly recommend him, and I will use him in the future for any photography needs that I might have!

t you have a camera crew follow you around shooting your every move, but Todd and his assistant managed to make us feel at ease. The proofs came in last week and the pictures are amazing. Todd's photographs look truly professional, the lighting is beautiful and he didn't miss a shot. We were lucky to get Todd in the off season, but he is worth what he charges. Remember, after your wedding all you have is memories and Todd caught some beautiful memories for us to keep forever.
