a DJ we could trust to put on the dance party of our dreams and Toast & Jam did not disappoint :) Leading up to the wedding the team was thorough and responsive, and working with our DJ to put together our vision for the night made us feel so excited. We honestly didn’t expect it, but our dance floor was full all night! Alli did such a great job reading the room and keeping the energy going without making the music feel generic or disconnected from us. We also got to hear so much of the music we personally enjoy during cocktail hour and dinner, which made the music throughout the day feel really romantic and personal. Everything felt effortless from our perspective, and we could not have asked for a better DJ to bring the party together!

first interaction with Melissa, everything was seamless. Communication was prompt, organized, and stress-free. Once we signed our contract, we were paired with Jenna Chapman, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Jenna took the time to get to know us as a couple—not just the songs we liked, but the atmosphere we wanted to create and what would make our celebration feel authentic. She embraced some of our more eclectic musical choices (including Thumpasaurus!) with enthusiasm, and it made the reception feel uniquely us. As an emcee, she struck the perfect balance of keeping the evening flowing without ever becoming the center of attention. Once the dance floor opened, it never slowed down. Her depth of musical knowledge is incredible, and she has an instinct for reading a room and knowing exactly what to play to keep guests of every age dancing all night long. We also hired a string quartet through Toast & Jam for our ceremony, and they were absolutely phenomenal. During planning, Quin helped us think through the mood we wanted to create and guided us toward selections that fit our vision perfectly. They were also wonderfully flexible, even agreeing to play a brief snippet of Frolic (the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme) as the punchline to one of the jokes during our ceremony. It was such a fun, memorable touch that our guests loved. One of my favorite memories from our wedding day happened before I even walked down the aisle. Standing outside the ceremony doors, waiting for them to open, I heard the quartet begin playing "Chasing Cars." It gave me goosebumps. I’ll remember that moment forever. Music has the power to shape how a wedding feels, and Toast & Jam absolutely nailed it. From the first notes of the ceremony to the final song of the reception, every moment felt intentional, personal, and unforgettable. We can't recommend them highly enough.

Throughout the night, the music selection was excellent and was perfectly tailored to our tastes and to the crowd - people stayed on the dance floor all night long! And so many of our guests commented on how great the music was. Alli was a pleasure to work with - highly recommend! We also had Toast & Jam's photo booth, and it was a hit! The photo booth team was accommodating and was so nice to all of our guests. We love having the digital and printed copies of all the photo booth pics (although guests found it hard to leave the dance floor to hit the photo booth)!

We went into the wedding feeling like we were in very good hands and it turned out to be such a fun night. We had Ari as our photo booth operator and he was great. He put together all of the photos into a book for us to keep at the end of the night. We loved looking at it! We really appreciated the Toast & Jam portal. We were able to click on songs that we liked from each decade and it gave us an opportunity to fill in details (like speeches, song requests) to make sure we had everything covered. I would highly recommend T&J, and especially Chris, as a DJ for any event.

on, we told him that music wasn’t our area of expertise. Our biggest request was simple: keep the dance floor full and make the music something we didn’t have to worry about on our wedding day. Chris took the time to get to know us as a couple and truly listened. Throughout the day, I constantly found myself saying, “I love this song,” even when it wasn’t something we had suggested. From cocktail hour through the last dance, every transition felt natural, the energy was spot on, and the dance floor stayed packed. e playlists we sent him exactly at the right times, and didn't play the stuff I shouldn't have put on those playlists :P. He also did a great job designing the lights during set up. What we REALLY want to praise him on his production coordinating during the reception. He was great at adjusting things on the fly, always checking with us before calling audibles in really smooth, unobtrusive ways. I especially credit him for having to compete with 3 rowdy casino tables while still keeping the vibe poppin and the dance floor populated. A great guy! Extremely gracious and a joy to work with. On the big day, she was great at reading the crowd and checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was going as we wanted. We have different music tastes, so we were impressed with how she blended our song choices to really make the day feel like "us". Chris were able to geek out about the genres and vibes we were hoping to emulate at our wedding. The toast & jam questionnaire was extremely thorough and really gave us the space to express our music desires. On the day of the wedding, we were BLOWN away by Chris’s music selection. We kept joking he “understood the assignment” because every song he played was a banger and had the vibes we were hoping for. People were on the dance floor up to the very last song. We also did the photobooth with the accompanying photo album, which was perfect. The photo album is great quality and we had such a fun time going through all the photos after the fact. Thank you Toast and Jam!!!!

The lights were beautiful and elegant and the Photo Booth and Photo Booth attendant, Rica, were also amazing! I have never seen a more invested Photo Booth attendant. Rica had an excellent attitude and seemed happy to be there. The last few weddings I attended had Photo Booth people who were on their phones the whole time and didn’t seem at all interested or excited to be a part of the merriment. Not the case here. Everyone we spoke with at Toast & Jam was so helpful… from confirming every detail to ensure everything was exactly what we wanted, to making sure the light settings were not flashing to ensure I didn’t have a seizure. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with. We are still receiving compliments on the music! Thank you so much to Alli, Todd, Rica, Renni, and Melissa for all of your help making our special day absolutely perfect.

It certainly helped that Mary and DJ Emily E were fun & easy to talk to AND were totally familiar with our rather weird, niche tastes in music, haha! Emily played music that perfectly fit the vibe we were going for (even outside of our playlist suggestions). She also made sure that there was something for everyone at each phase of the event, so that guests of all ages had a great time! She was also an amazing MC, bringing just enough energy and personality without being overly involved or disrupting the mood or flow of the event (something I understand Toast & Jam DJs pride themselves on). I cannot recommend them enough!

Jam has an awesome guest portal that let us easily communicate with Emily throughout the wedding planning process. At the wedding, the transitions were seamless, the song choices were absolutely perfect, and the way Emily read the crowd was next-level. Every generation — from our grandparents to our college friends to the little cousins — found a reason to get up and dance. What really stood out was her professionalism and passion. Emily handled all the sound cues for our ceremony and speeches flawlessly, coordinated with the venue staff and our photographer without missing a beat, and kept everything running smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Toast & Jam also handled our lights for the night and it was so easy to pick the uplights we wanted, then sit back and trust them to make it amazing. We would highly recommend this vendor!

She went above and beyond to make sure we had a solid timeline and asked detailed questions about our style and taste to make sure she could craft the perfect music experience for us (which she did AMAZINGLY well). We are so grateful for everything Jenna did to make our night a success and all of our guests were happy, sweaty messes by the end of the night :)

We had two meetings with Chris going over all of the details. What we envision our day to look and feel like. Chris even was able to adapt our entrance song minutes before our grand entrance. Give these guys full reign of the music with only a few must plays / do not plays because they know how to read a room!

lly to talk about what we wanted to do and he gave us access to the planning site where we could list what we did and didn't want him to play. We met with him again a few weeks before the wedding to go over the plan and he executed everything we asked for perfectly! We didn't use a wedding planner so Paul was instrumental in helping us figure out how the day would go. We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the same venue but at different locations around the venue. Paul set us up with music and microphones for the ceremony. When that ended, he quickly moved to the cocktail hour to provide the music. After that, he moved to the reception area to announce us and get the music started. It all happened seamlessly! We also got a photo booth from Toast and Jam and were very happy with how that worked as well. Overall, this company really took care of us and made our big day run as smooth as we were hoping it would. Do not hesitate to book Toast and Jam and Paul Simpson for your event. You will not be disappointed!

The dance floor was full with high energy!  The ceremony music, first dance and parent music was great!  Kate was communicative the weeks leading up, going over our likes and dislikes and making sure our favorite songs would be played. The day of, Kate would make sure we knew where we were in the timeline and confirmed next steps with us.   Toast and Jam came highly recommended from our venue and we are so glad they did! The up lighting they offered looked beautiful and everyone loved the photo booth!  If you have the chance to book with them I would! And Kate deserves a raise! 

t out. Unfortunately, the day before our big day Damani had an emergency and could not make it. Luckily, they had it all covered. We did not have to stress for even a minute because they had Chris ready to step in. Damani had taken such good notes that all we needed to do was chat with Chris on the phone for 5 minutes and we were no longer concerned. On the night of Chris killed it! I do not think I have been to a wedding with a better DJ before. He had our 90 year old nana dancing until midnight! It's been a few weeks since our big day and we still have friends and family raving about the music! We could not be more thankful for Damani, Chris, and the Toast & Jam team for the extra effort they put in for us. We recommend them for all your parties, and hope we see them again in the future!

We are so happy Damani was able to DJ our wedding, we couldn’t imagine our experience without him.

From the processional music during the ceremony, throughout the cocktail hour, and finally during the reception, DJ Chris did a fantastic job. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't change a thing. We also had a photo booth package through toast and jam which also was a huge hit. Everyone loved the photobooth along with the photobooth jockey. Everything we got through toast and jam was fantastic, and it was money well spent. If you want your music and your guests to be on the dance floor all night and enjoying themselves, toast and jam gets the job done. Excellent company with excellent services.
