We had a small wedding. Before hiring Tisha Holman Events to plan/coordinate my BIG day I assumed I couldn't have a dream wedding--my husband and I previously decided we would kee...
p it small or rather intimate.
Im so happy we hired Tisha because she gave me a dream wedding. It was intimate and beautiful.
We hired Tisha Holman when she was just starting out her business under the moniker, Do Me a Favor. We didn't have too much apprehension hiring a "new" planner because Tisha had so much confidence in her ability to provide us with the wedding and reception WE wanted. Her belief in her business, and self made us believers too. Even as a "young" planner she left no stone unturned when planning and executing our wedding/reception.
Not only did she give us a gorgeous day, she's also spoiled two other couples I recommended with professionalism, class, and a magnificent day. My husband and I plan to hire her AGAIN when we renew our vows in a few years. I know Tisha Holman Events will still be around. I highly Recommend Tisha Holman Events to any and all Dallas couples.
I, like many men didn't think my opinion on the day's events really mattered. My wife (fiancé at the time, lol) tried to include me in and I just mostly agreed with what she wante...
d; I didn't want to choose something off. Tisha Holman Events sensed that I felt a bit out of the loop, I think. So they asked for both my and my wife's ideal wedding/reception. I wanted fun--sophisticated, elegant fun!
Let me tell you, the wedding and reception went smoothly. My opinions were incorporated in such a way that I couldn't believe they were actually my ideas. Honestly, Tisha Holman Events understood my ramblings and embellished them in a way that wasn't over the top, or cheesy, but just perfect. We had the beautiful wedding/reception my wife wanted and the fun aspect that I wanted: Tisha Holman Events created that for us. My friends said they never had so much fun at a wedding reception.
Go with Tisha Holman Events. If you have an idea of what you want (or even if you don't) I'm sure they will execute it better than you can explain it or even imagine it!!
I had a great experience. Stressfree. So happy Tisha was there. She will be doing my cousin's wedding next December. I can't wait to see what Tisha has up her sleeve!
To be honest, I was not going to hire a wedding planner-- I was taking care of everything and my Sister was going to make sure things went smoothly on my actual wedding day.
I ...
met Tisha, and I'm glad I hired her to do Day Of coordination. Looking back at all the things Tisha took care of that I didn't even think about, I know my poor Sister would have been overwhelmed!
Brides & Grooms... At LEAST use a planner for the day of the wedding, and Tisha comes highly recommended. I wish she was still in California to do my Sons birthday party!
When I first began planning my wedding, I was determined to do everything myself-- too much WeTV! I quickly saw that I needed to hand the baton to a pro!! A friend recommended Tish...
a, and I'm so glad I called! She really understood what I wanted, and made it happen! - and even had a few surprises up her sleeve! Tisha is just a fun person to be around, I felt like I was with a friend during our meetings. I highly recommend Tisha Holman Events.
Tisha and her team went above and beyond to ensure that all aspects of my wedding went as planned. She worked with me months in advance to set up timelines and she followed up with...
me and the vendors to ensure they were met.
Everything was just as I had planned. I insisted on using a family florist rather than one of her recommended vendors. On the day of the wedding the flowers were not to my specifications. Tisha contacted the florist and had the centerpieces and bouquets fixed. I didn't even find out that there was a problem until the next day when the florist called to apologize for the confusion.
She did everything! I didn't have to worry at all. She is fabulous and I highly recommend her!
Tisha was extremely helpful for helping us pull off our day. From the get go, you could tell she was organized and had a take charge attitude when getting our requests met. I know ...
I didn't have to worry about much that day, thanks to her.
Service was great. Every detail planned to a T. She made me feel like I had a say.( I was the groom, I know the truth...)

h is a bride's biggest fear. I would suggest Tisha for my bridal friends. She is absolutely incredible!
Tisha goes above and beyond when it comes to planning your big day. She helped me through finding vendors and a location. I had a great time as did my family and guests! She hel...
ped me have the "day off" and enjoy the event, not worry about the little things.
Note: I can't update the Wedding date! It should be 9/2013 not 2015!
Creative, professional, fun to talk to and easy to work with! Tisha worked with us from the very beginning and was very informative and resourceful.
Our budget was kind of limi...
ted so we substituted things like silk flowers and handmade favors but that did not stop her creativity! Our beach wedding was small, intimate and fun and Tisha made sure that everyone knew what they were supposed to do, where to be - she really made the wedding a success! I don't know how many brides can boast, but, the wedding went off without a hitch (and if there were problems, I had no clue!)
Our reception was at a comedy club later that day for the larger crowd and she revealed the reception area to us before she allowed anyone in and I totally burst out in tears - it was so GORGEOUS! I had no idea what to do as far as decor and layout and it was like she brought the beach to the comedy club! It was nice to give complete control to someone else and then be totally dazzled with the results!
Everyone loved her cake pops at the reception (which I didn't even know she was providing until the day before...how sweet!) and she made sure all the vendors were paid, in place and on time.
We only had one issue - the Best Man got into a minor car accident on the way to the reception so it delayed the time we were to actually start, but Tisha quickly coordinated with the club owners and started a cocktail hour in the lobby area.
She's quick thinking and fast acting - seeing her in action, you can really tell she enjoys what she does. I'm sure I had my bridezilla moments, but she was always friendly, upbeat and reassuring when I got stressed.
I've heard some pretty bad wedding stories and I'm so thankful that we have good, fun memories and we owe a lot of that to Tisha! She's awesome!!
Tisha Holman Events did an awesome job making our special day a day to remember!
Tisha Holman Events exceeded my expectations!
Like most brides, it was stressful for me trying to figure out how to plan my perfect wedding. Tisha completely eradicated my stress ...
when she took over the planning.
Tisha understood my wants and desires--including those that I found difficult to articulate. She took care of details that I as a First time bride did not consider.
Tisha Holman Events were prompt in returning phone calls and keeping my fiancé and I abreast of important details.
Our Wedding was beautiful and I could not have been more pleased with the results. I had my dream wedding at an affordable cost.
Brides, if you want: your ideal wedding brought to fruition; a stress free planning experience; a calm, professional, and enthusiastic Wedding Planner, hire Tisha Holman Events!
