At the beginning, we were feeling very good with our choice of Tinucci's for our caterer. The tasting went amazing and we felt all of our questions were answered. Once we got furth...
er into the wedding planning and I needed to reach out to Mark, it would be almost impossible to get ahold of him. I tried emails with no response and was told he prefers calls or texts, but when I texted, I would constantly get left on read. When planning such a big event like this, the lack in communication is very concerning. On the day of our wedding, our food was amazing and many people were planning on getting seconds, but by the time our tables were finished with their first plate the staff had already taken the food away. Many of my guests came up to me and expressed how they had a small plate to start because they wanted to try more afterwards, but they saw staff take the food away immediately after the last table got their plates. The point of buffets is to go back up and get more food after your first plate, which is why we did a buffet rather than plated meals. Another issue I had is the times they set for picking up leftovers. We left the day after our wedding for a trip and our pickup time was during the week but only from 9am-1pm. Even if we weren't out of town, neither of us could have taken off work to pick up any leftovers and neither could our parents. They should be working with the couples on finding a time that works best to pick up for everyone; after all we paid a lot for this food and should have been able to bring some back home. Additionally, I was also never informed if there were or weren't any leftovers. Once again, the company's lack of communication shows. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the staff, their communication, and our experience with the company as a whole.
We had Tinucci's cater our wedding and they did a fabulous job! Mark was super helpful from the beginning. The food was fantastic!! As a wedding guest, I don't usually hear people ...
talk a lot about the food, but we received SO many compliments about how delicious the champagne chicken and beef short rib were. Both meats were so tender, the pasta we ordered was amazing, and the berry salad was refreshing. They catering staff was great as well. Would highly recommend Tinucci's!
We catered Tinucci’s for our wedding and it was AMAZING!
Mark and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in the catering industry, so working with him was as smooth as ...
could be.
We also did our liquor through them, because at the time they were our venue’s exclusive liquor license. We did run into an issue with our venue bringing in a different liquor provider, which threw us for a bit of a loop, however when we contacted Tinucci’s, they were still more than willing to do our bar service —we of course said yes and had an outstanding bar service because of them!
Our guests talked about the food all night — we did buffet style with their baked chicken (AMAZING), penne Alfredo, au gratin potatoes, salad, and bread. We had almost 280 people, so a very LARGE wedding, and I think we got through the buffet in about 30 minutes.
Mark and his team have so many options for food, all of which are quality; you can customize how you like, and if you have dietary restrictions they are able to adjust. We absolutely LOVED working with mark and his staff at Tinucci’s and highly recommend them for any of your catering needs!
