Timeless Imagery and Media

for each other. You can tell just by looking at the two of you together how much you love each other. Thank you so much for using me. I can’t wait to see where life takes you two.

your wedding day. I care deeply about my couples and put a lot of time into planning timelines so we can create meaningful, beautiful images. About three weeks before the wedding, you shared a long list of inspirational photos. When I reviewed your timeline, we had about 45 minutes between ceremony and reception to photograph family, wedding party, and bride and groom portraits. Based on my experience, that amount of time wasn't enough to thoughtfully capture a very long inspiration list in addition to the must‑have group photos. I had just mentioned to show me the ones she wanted most so I knew we would get those in. I always want to make people happy but my experience has shown that many times couples don't realize how long it takes to get all those photo's. So I always like to have a plan to help them the best I can. For couples in that situation, I always encourage them to share their top “must‑have” inspo images, especially when time is limited. I study the venue, combine their favorites with my own list, and work efficiently to capture as much as possible. I also tend to overshoot and deliver many images, and we regularly incorporate popular and creative poses throughout the day. Some couples choose a First Look or a longer break between ceremony and reception to allow for a more extensive shot list. My intention in our communication was to be honest about what we could accomplish in the time available and not overpromise. I was very surprised and saddened by how our conversation unfolded, as this is not something I typically experience with my couples. I always try to treat each couple like I would my own family. When you chose to cancel, I did ask for a written acknowledgment of your decision and a non‑disparagement agreement, which is a standard step to protect both parties. As for a refund, I refunded within three weeks. I had held the date and was just so shocked this happened. I wanted to make sure I was protected in having a letter signed that you had canceled the services. In the end, I just sent the money without a letter signed because I try to do what is right. I’m genuinely disappointed that it came to this, because my goal was only to help you have a smooth, realistic timeline and a wonderful photography experience. I still wish you nothing but the best moving forward.

ay. We can’t wait to follow your next phase in life.

have the best year yet! Thank you again.

day it rained so much you were a trooper and just rolled with it. You can feel the love between the two of you! Your family was amazing too!

my work or my character. I would like to take a moment to address some of the statements that have been shared publicly. I had the pleasure of photographing Maddie and Caleb’s engagement session, which they loved and spoke positively about. I genuinely enjoyed working with them and was honored to photograph their wedding at one of my favorite venues. At no point during the wedding day—or afterward—was I rude or dismissive. That is not in my nature, and anyone who has worked with me knows I treat my couples with care, respect, and professionalism at all times. I truly try to treat each couple like they are my family or good friends. That is how it feels after spending so much time together. All wedding photos were delivered well within the agreed-upon contract timeline. In fact, their full gallery—over 850 edited images—was completed and delivered approximately one month after the wedding, earlier than required. The gallery was made available online for download, as clearly outlined in my contract: “The photographer may make the photos available in the manner they deem suitable.” I can also provide timestamped confirmation from my editing company verifying when the edits were completed and delivered. Additionally, I mailed a flash drive containing the final images. When that drive was not returned, I personally drove another flash drive to their home and placed it in their mailbox—something I can also document. Regarding the wedding video: I contracted a professional third-party editing company to ensure high-quality results. I am currently working to redo their video to ensure they are fully satisfied. I always want to make sure people are happy. Always. There were additional circumstances surrounding this time that I prefer not to share publicly. However, I do wish to note that my family experienced a sudden medical emergency that tragically resulted in a loss. Despite these circumstances, I remained committed to fulfilling my promises and continued communication and delivery as quickly as I could. I truly care about my couples and always give 110% to deliver my best work. It hurts my heart when someone is unhappy, and I always strive to make things right whenever possible. That is truly who we are as a team too.
