That said, this hotel has a lot going for it. New building, very clean rooms, comfy bed, and overall a great location to explore the city, with public transit nearby. Service was good but the security guards were the friendliest people on site.
Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re used to the grittiness of a city and value a clean newer room.

being vigilant. As gold members they provided a credit which we used at their rooftop restaurant. Its an excellent venue with great drinks, heaters, cozy blankets and friendly staff. We'd stay at this location again.

ls of the hotel is that the rooftop bar/restaurant has limited days and times, so we did not get that convenience or enjoyment. The morning café was good, but pricey, they have some coffee drinks, a couple pastries,and juices. The room was nice, wish it had a tub to soak in after all the walking. The espresso coffee in the room was very good. Housekeeping cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels. All in all, I would probably stay here again if I have to go back to San Francisco. (Not sure i ever want to).

erall high-quality feeling. The hotel itself was genuinely impressive.
Unfortunately, the immediate surroundings heavily affected our experience. We encountered a lot of visible homelessness and open drug use nearby, and especially later in the day we did not feel particularly comfortable walking around the area.
Parking is another downside. There wasn’t a practical affordable parking option at the hotel for us, leaving the expensive valet service as the convenient choice.
It’s a strange contrast: step through the hotel doors and you enter a polished sanctuary; step outside and the atmosphere changes immediately.
3/5 overall — the hotel itself deserves considerably more, but location and parking pulled the final score down.
