We held my daughters wedding there in February, Wehad less guests then we contracted for but gave them plenty of notice. After the wedding we told them we were owed money because ...
were builder for a larger amount of guests. We were told we would we would be mailed a check the following week. It is almost 3 months now and we finally got a check in the mail. We deposited the check the next day and today we found out the check bounced. I would never recommend them to any one. The food wasn’t very good either. Find another venue.
I really wish I could give Timacuan a better review, but unfortunately there were a lot of hiccups throughout our wedding planning process. I will say, I'm extremely grateful for t...
he Timacuan team on the day of our wedding (March 5, 2022), they did an excellent job and service was top-notch. The venue is absolutely beautiful. I truly think this venue is a hidden gem here in the Central Florida area.
The biggest problem I had with Timacuan was the lack of communication from the get-go. I initially toured with Dana back in May 2021, but once I wanted to sign and pay our deposit with her, it took over a week to get a hold of her. Communication issues persisted until Dana quit in Oct/Nov 2021 and Amber took over. Honestly, I don't blame Amber at all for any issues I had. Amber was trying her best to pick up the mess and slack that Dana had left for her, not to mention their head chef had quit along with Dana. I will say that Dana promised things that weren't able to be executed in the long-run, but they were minor in the grand scheme of things.
Nonetheless, our wedding turned out amazing and I would still recommend Timacuan to friends/family with the understanding that they may have to tread lightly.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Timacuan Golf & Country Club! The staff, especially coordinator Dana and chef Juan, truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day the...
greatest day of our lives! Dana was so easy to get into contact with, was very patient, and answered any and all questions that we had. On the actual day of the wedding, the cake baker did not put flowers on our cake so Dana herself went to publix to make sure we had flowers on the cake just like it was supposed to. In addition to this, at the last minute we decided to have the ceremony inside due to the heat and the whole staff were so calm and easy going about the change.
The chef, Juan, was incredible and all our guests raved about how great the food was and even some guests said "Juan has ruined potatoes for them forever now, as his potato duel swirl was the greatest food they had ever eaten."
I cannot recommend having your wedding here enough. The setting on the golf course was absolutely gorgeous and made for the most beautiful photos and the staff were unmatched. We thank them so much for making our day the greatest and stress free day of our lives!!!
We can't say enough great things about Weddings by Timacuan! Not only is the venue beautiful, but it's huge! There is so much space to play around with and your money really goes a...
long way. Alexys was responsive, organized and helpful with any questions we had. When she went on maternity leave, Dana picked up right where she left off and helped us leading up to the wedding. Dana went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! It honestly felt like she was family who genuinely wanted our wedding day to be everything we dreamed of.
We used the groom/bridal suite to get ready, and it was spacious and comfortable. We were always being checked on for anything we needed (drinks, food, etc.). The entire staff was so kind, and we rarely had to ask for anything because they were on point! The food was INCREDIBLE! I'm so glad my husband and I were able to sit down and enjoy it, and our guests described the food as "fire!". Everything was delicious and they even made us "go to" boxes.
From start to finish, working with Timacuan was amazing! They made our wedding coordinators job easy and helped make sure everything ran smoothly. If you are on the lookout for a wedding venue, definitely check out Timacuan!
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. All of our friends and family had a blast and couldn’t praise the venue enough.

st in the business. They took care of every detail and we loved every moment of our wedding day. This is the best venue in town and has my highest recommendation! Thank you to you and your team for the most perfect day.
One of my best friend's just got married at Timacuan. Since I helped her search for a venue and they choose this one because of the views of the golf course, I decided to write a...
review. The venue was beautifully decorated for the holidays so we didn't have to bring in too much more for the wedding which was a big help. The food was the best I've had at any wedding lately. The staff were all very attentive, nice and professional. We all were a bit nervous and fussy on the day of wedding and we were constantly asking the catering director Denie for help as we were decorating and then getting dressed. I thought we'd drive her crazy with all the requests, but she was so nice and accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. Philip was the coordinator for the ceremony on the patio and during the dinner and he was also very professional and nice. We all loved his accent! I can't say enough about Timacuan and if we decide to not do the destination wedding, we'll be giving Denie a call to see what's available in 2020.
Phillippe was very accommodating and did a great job! He made sure I was happy the entire time. Many thanks to Phillippe! The food was incredible, open bar was great! I received gr...
eat recommendations for my photographer, DJ, florist and cake company. Overall, the whole wedding package was perfect and a lot less stressful. There was only one little problem. Denny the catering coordinator was rude to our bridal party on the day of our rehearsal dinner. They were setting up for another party during our rehearsal, which is fine. But the catering coordinator was very rude to me, my mom, my mother in law ( Denny told her to stop sitting in the chairs by the fire place, she has been going through chemo, she’s tired) and my bridal party. Honestly, her attitude was the only down fall. We had a time block for our rehearsal from 4-5pm and she was trying to kick us out by 4:20.
My wedding was a dream that came true. David is hands down the best wedding coordinator that I was blessed to have. The whole process from start to finish was amazing. My guests ...
were in awe. The food was delicious. The ambience was perfect. 4.14.18 was the best day ever because I married my Prince Charming. Getting married at Timacuan was the best decision that I ever mad. Its a all in one complete package. I have 2 more family members going with Timacuan this year and I know they will not be disappointed. One is a 50 year wedding anniversary and the other is a wedding. All of my guests left happy. I loved all my vendors!

ourteous and professional service at the bar for the rehearsal dinner guests and during the reception at the wedding. Phillip Tripoul, manager, was the attentive and professional support that took care of us, our guests, and kept everyone on schedule throughout both events at Timacuan. The floral display created with high/low floral arrangements, and the brides bouquet including bridal party flowers, were simply amazing! Peddles Florist provided the arrangements, and they were perfect! So much was JUST right at this location!

g, which made the special day so much more enjoyable. The space is just beautiful, the perfect setting to enjoy the beauty and time with others. The food is amazing, i have never been to any event with the quality of food we had. The service by all far exceeds any event i have ever worked or been a part of. Choosing Timacuan helped our vision of a fairytale celebration come to life and working with David is such a pleasure. Could not have imagined our reception anywhere else!

tions throughout our 14 months of planning with David and not once did he ever make us feel annoying. He always was quick to respond. And had TONS of advice for us along the way. I knew on our big day we were in the most amazing hands solely because I knew David was in control of it all. The venue is stunning. The food was delicious!! We have everyone tell us how much fun our wedding was and how gorgeous it was. I wish I could do our wedding over and over! You will not go wrong using Timacuan and David! - The Grennells

ith all the details, big or small. He made our wedding a dream come true. From the decor to the food, it was amazing. We had right at about 150 attend our wedding and there was so much space to mingle inside or outside on the terrace. I am so glad we chose Timacuan as our venue and I'm sure everyone that has gotten married here will say the same. Again Big thank you to David and his team.

mate focus are the chandeliers. The venue grabbed my attention but it was the operations manager that made this the right choice. With professional guidance I felt that I never had a worry when it came to the reception events. Before booking I had the opportunity to speak with a friend about her experience at Timacuan and she had only wonderful things to say. This location has everything you need, great food, bar, interior, parking, and event experience. With this venue be prepared to handle the planning with precision, to get the dream day you need a team of professional vendors. Timacuan has great things to offer-go for the best food ;)

s. My new wife and I spent countless hours searching for the perfect venue. We visited a few and while they were nice it didn’t have that ‘IT’ factor we were looking for. Then my mother told us to check out the newly renovated Timacuan Country Club she heard about. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It’s absolutely beautiful! Look at the pictures and just know that you will be pleasantly surprised when you actually visit the club. One thing you can’t experience however through pictures is David DeAssis. Wow, what a character, what a person. From the onset you need to be prepared for his directness, promptness, professionalism, and absolute care for making your day 100% perfect. I remember sitting down for our first meeting and thinking to myself this place could look like crap but David himself is worth the price of admission. I can’t say enough good things about him from beginning to end. All I can say is you are in the best hands with David. One thing you will also notice is that his leadership extends down to his staff. They are some of the nicest, hard-working, and professional people you will come across. They made my wife and I feel like we were at a 5 star establishment and it is clear that is exactly how David wants it. The way we were treated was second to none. I more than highly recommend Timacuan Country Club not only because of its beauty and renovations but because of David. Without him the experience is not complete.
I was in love with Timacuan from the first time I walked in! The gorgeous chandeliers and wood beams were exactly what I was looking for. Then I met David and he just made me feel ...

nue is beautiful and we received many compliments from our guests on the décor and food. Highly recommended!
David, the Director of Operations, was absolutely phenomenal. Throughout the entire planning process, he was ALWAYS available to bounce questions off of - typically responding in ...
less than an hour or two. If you are planning on getting married here, don't bother hiring a wedding planner or day-of coordinator because you will be wasting your money. David knows weddings like the back of his hand, and he was truly a joy to work with. The few small hiccups we had on the wedding day were quickly dealt with without adding stress to my morning. Most people say that weddings always run behind - mine was perfectly on time. In fact, we were ready a few minutes early for everything.
The cost per head is a little bit higher than quoted elsewhere, but it includes EVERYTHING - full meal, alcohol, champagne toast, hors d'oeuvres, linens, etc. Even the CAKE was included in the price per head. Yes, the Cake - one less bill to pay elsewhere! So once you start adding all of that into the other venues' quotes, you reach the same amount very quickly. We also did the Venetian Dessert Station, which was a HUGE hit - almost all of the dessert was gone! The actual rental fee for the space is minuscule compared to the $1,500-$4,000 rental fees I had quoted at other venues, so that was a huge bonus for me, as I was able to allocate that money elsewhere. Speaking of the venue, it is GORGEOUS. I did very minimal decorations, as the big wooden beams, crystal chandeliers, gigantic windows, and marble bar & wall spoke for themselves. If you want Wow-factor, this venue has it. My wedding of 110 fit perfectly in the ceremony and dining spaces without having to squeeze anyone, or feeling like a big empty ballroom.
Overall, my wedding had rave reviews, from beginning to end. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding!
I knew instantly when meeting David that Timacuan was the venue for my daughter's wedding reception. The outdoor space with fireplace gave guests the opportunity to mingle outside...
and enjoy the music and bar inside.
David's attention to all the details and his wonderful team allows you to enjoy the experience. Every guest commented on the great food and the "magical" venue.
The best advice I can give anyone looking for a wedding reception venue is RUN to Timacuan. Take David's recommendations (they are spot on) and eliminate all stress! The cake, DJ, photo booth, florist, all were recommended by David. Everyone's services exceeded all expectations!!
The room is spectacular, the bar can easily accommodate all your guests, the food is delicious, and David is a true find! Thank you David and your team for providing a magical evening for my daughter and son in law! Five stars is truthfully not enough!

t you envision. Timacuan is an amazing, recently renovated venue that perfectly blends modern flair with rustic charm. It offers beautiful outdoor and indoor ceremony locations, sleek bar, and gorgeous formal dining room with dance floor overlooking the golf course (gorgeous at sunset!). The transition from our outdoor wedding to cocktail hour on the terrace to the formal reception inside was seamless and enjoyed by all. Our guests could not stop exclaiming about how delicious the buffet dinner was, each piece of which we hand selected with David’s guidance. If you are looking for an all-inclusive venue and someone to help you create your dream wedding, look no further, Timacuan and David are it!

d not have any worries about our event. David is wonderful and his expertise created a dream come true for my daughter. Every question, concern, idea and request was listened to and discussed. With David's knowledge and experience I went into the wedding day confident and excited because I knew I did not have to worry about ANYTHING! When I arrived at Timacuan the day of the wedding-words cannot describe the joy I felt. It was BEAUTIFUL! The food was absolutely amazing. Our guests are still talking about it. Timacuan Country Club was the best choice we made. Not only are we happy about the evening but our guests (over 200) ALL complimented it as well. I can't thank David and Timacuan enough for making my daughter's wedding day a treasured memory.

. The food was fantastic as well- we had multiple guests come up to us to complement the food. David, the coordinator for Timacuan, made sure that everything was running smoothly from day one. He paid attention to every detail and made sure everything was to my liking. He was also very good at communication- answering all my emails very promptly. Everything about our reception was perfect! I highly recommend Timacuan!

ked at each other, and just knew it was absolutely the place for us. They recently (in the past few years) remodeled with gorgeous chandeliers, a striking bar area, and a cozy and modern bridal suite and locker room for the gentlemen. For our meal, we chose to do a buffet instead of a plated service, and the food was amazing! Our guests could not stop talking about the dinner selection, and even my father (a self-proclaimed food snob) was incredibly impressed and proclaimed it was hands-down the “best wedding food I’ve ever had.” David DeAssis, operations manager, acted as the day-off coordinator in addition to helping us every step of the planning process in making the necessary decisions leading up to the big day. We will also be eternally grateful for David’s quick responsiveness and flexibility during our event, as we had a bit of a “family emergency” mid-ceremony (everyone is okay though, thank goodness!) David took charge when we needed him to, and kept our event flowing as close to “as-planned” as possible. All in all, it is a lovely venue and you should definitely check it out!

s the day of the event. ALL the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the whole day and evening. Everything ran smoothly, guests enjoyed the food and David had excellent recommendations for vendors to use. David was GREAT on communication when we needed a question answered. With planing an out of state wedding, he was extremely patient with meeting our needs, especially, when we were in town visiting. My husband and I had a memorable evening and it was a great start to kick off our marriage.
