Three Rivers String Quartet

to work with and very responsive throughout the wedding planning process. Christina held a virtual meeting with us in the month leading up to our wedding so that we could discuss exactly what sort of soundtrack we wanted for the ceremony as well as our cocktail hour. As per our request, they played classical music for the prelude, procession, and recession during the ceremony, and then they played popular love songs during our cocktail hour. We are so happy with our decision to hire the Three Rivers String Quartet for our wedding day!

r and over again.

they had plenty of good insights about timing in order to make the big event run smoothly and were so obliging in moving their chairs and coming down for the reception. I highly recommend 3RSQ for your next event!

had helpful suggestions, was professional, and above all the quartet’s talent was recognized by all of our (socially distanced and masked up) wedding ceremony guests. I cannot recommend them enough. They even learned 2 songs specifically for our celebration. They truly made our day unique and we are so thankful!

c was beautiful and I wish I could have gotten a chance to say hello in person!

responsive and helpful during the planning process. Highly recommend if you're looking to elevate your ceremony or cocktail hour!

y to work with, very organized, and completely professional. They have an extensive repertoire and will also add songs that are not on their list. We were so happy that they were available for our wedding.....they lived up to our high expectations!

e asked for more.

y song we dreamed of having for our ceremony and cocktail hour was already there. We had one special request for the bride walking down the aisle, and they were amazing and learned the song. They really went above and beyond to make our day perfect. And afterwards, so many of our guests told us how much they loved the music and that it was one of their favorite parts of the whole day. Can't recommend strongly enough!!

play to decide on the music I wanted, and they exceeded all of my expectations when it came to the ceremony and I heard them play in person. They played a mixture of classical and more modern songs, all impeccably and with such comfort and ease. Without a doubt would recommend them to anyone that wants authentic and beautiful music at their ceremony, and I’m so glad I didn’t just decide to go with a music recording for the ceremony like I had seen at some other weddings — it makes all the difference, and I would recommend again and again!

cation to an already elegant event. The Quartet arrives early and has a seamless set up and closing. I would highly recommend them for their price, selections, and appropriate attire. They kept in touch during the timeframe and planning. They provide a detailed contract and have a great website.

awesome songs to fit our taste. Among our guests favorites were Marry You by Bruno Mars, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and Sweet Caroline. Our guests were even singing along! My fiance, now husband, requested Sweet Child of Mine and they nailed it complete with the guitar solo on violin. My guests are still talking about the music. I highly recommend them for your wedding!

usic was just perfect. Many thanks to Christina and her crew for making our day just like I had dreamed!

hoose the rest of the music and provided sound clips for me to hear some of the recessional pieces for me to choose. We decided to go with Hornpipe. The selections she choose were perfect and set the tone for the ceremony. She worked with my coordinator prior to the wedding and everything was flawless.... even as my 2 year old flower girl ran back up the aisle they kept the music going. Thank you for making my wedding so special!

and arrange for us. Christina was wonderful to work with and knowing she would be there to take care of every detail of the music really put my mind at ease. I had so many people comment that the music was one of the best parts of the day!

classics to contemporary. My photographer even said this was the best string quartet he ever worked with!

e fit better. Christina was the one I spoke with along the way and she was incredible. At one point I had sent a payment to the wrong PayPal account. She was on the phone with me for about a half an hour trying to figure it out with me. I highly recommend Three rivers string quartet. They would be the perfect fit for your wedding!!

here for the reception. They were the added extra that filled in the gaps to help make all my daughters wishes, for her wedding, come true.

reception venue. A wonderful addition to my daughter’s big day. Would highly recommend!

ons prior to the wedding were timely and they began playing 30 minutes prior to the service. As many of the guests were musicians, everyone appreciated and enjoyed their performance. I would highly recommend Christina and company.

sheet music wasn’t available. And mailed me a copy of the sheet music after our wedding. I recommend them every chance I get.

ed out a planning sheet and Christina did the rest. She coordinated everything with our planner including cues and everything was executed flawlessly. We could not have asked for a more talented and easy to work with group of musicians.

the quartet perform at a bridal show and we knew that this was the perfect group for her wedding. We initially only wanted them for the ceremony but they offer a big discount on the second hour so we had them play for both. They performed contemporary pieces for the cocktail hour and classical for the ceremony. The guests are still talking about the music.

iendliest, most experienced, and most organized of all groups. They had a large selection of music immediately available and I loved that Christina was the planner and also one of the violinists for my event. She listened to what I wanted for my wedding and she made it happen. The musicians even found and learned a few odd pieces for me that we requested a short time before the wedding. The performance was superb and perfectly executed. I cannot thank this group enough!

e out the perfect pieces to play at the perfect time. They have a great selection of music, and the performers were top notch!

e music background and was blown away by the quality of this group. Their music selections and variety of songs was absolutely amazing.

learn the pieces and to coordinate them with the planners and eloquently during the ceremony. She was so kind to provide an artist such as myself the liberty of suggesting the style in which certain songs be played, we discussed it together, and luckily she agreed that it worked very well. I was lucky to corroborate with Christina in general, because each player was highly skilled and knew timing and performance cues better than most; as well as coming away from the ceremony I felt a sense of closure at hearing what we had discussed so elegantly depicted on that day; working with her to discuss the choices had been creatively lovely for me as an artist and because she is a lovely person. I certainly and highly recommend these one of a kind musicians. Thank you to All!!!!

sive and Christina was able to accommodate a special request for a song that we were hoping to hear! I encourage all brides and grooms to choose Three Rivers String Quartet. You won't be disappointed!

c. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her or the quartet. We felt so lucky to find them.

. your crazy not to! And the only reason I can say that is because of this group right here.... they exceeded any and all expectations, Christina truly did an amazing job with switching things up when we found out our Catholic church would not allow us to play the songs we originally wanted .... and with one phone call she had it all together in a split second! She worked with my budget and for that I am forever grateful and our family and friends couldn't say enough about how beautiful they sounded.... And what a pleasure they truly were. Absolutely professional and you can count of them for not only a beautiful show but the experience they have to make a quick move and the right move to go with the flow of YOUR wedding.... Christina thank you, and thank you for my extra song at the end of my ceremony while we were taking pictures at the alter. She played the song i was not originally allowed to have as i walked down the isle, but we WERE allowed to play it as we took pictures after the service. Totally in shock and it took everything in me not to cry for such a sweet sentiment. Thank you. Love, the Heineckes 7-7-17.

s. I definitely recommend!

wasn't on their playlist for us! We can't thank them enough. Just wonderful! Brad & Genevia 10/28/2016

s at the wedding are still talking about them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a special touch to any occasion. They are FABULOUS and are flexible to your needs. I can't say enough about them. Thank you for making my son's extra special.

and will really add an extra special touch to your special day! They have a large library of music and will accommodate almost all music requests. I would highly recommend the Three Rivers String Quartet for anyone who is thinking of hiring a string quartet for their wedding day!

and professional to work with in planning the music. She answered all my questions and even made some great song suggestions. When they began playing my song, it brought tears to my eyes it was so beautiful! I highly recommend the Three Rivers String Quartet!

ing was really stress-free. They played beautifully outside on an extremely hot day (which I felt bad about)! I loved the music and I think everybody else did too, as I got tons of compliments. I think their prices are very reasonable. Hire them, you won't regret it!

chose from, and we had the option to have someone compose music for us if they did not have the songs we wanted. The planning sheet made the ceremony music so easy. Would absolutely recommend Three Rivers String Quartet for a perfect ceremony! Their music was breath taking!!!

string quartet to play at my ceremony, so I began researching string quartets in the Pittsburgh area. I found this group, and I'm so happy I did! I based the date of my wedding around the availability of both the string quartet and the band at my reception. The responses from Christina through the whole process were very quick and helpful. I wanted a special song for my husband and his groomsmen to walk in to, so I asked Christina if they could do an arrangement of the Jurassic Park theme song. They did, and it surprised my husband (and the other guys, too) so much that he almost cried! I have heard nothing but wonderful comments about the Three Rivers String Quartet from guests who attended the wedding. If you are considering having a string quartet, this is the group you want! I only wish I could have heard them more!

the website was helpful, as well. I got nothing but rave reviews about them from my guests at the wedding. They sounded perfect and dressed beautifully and professionally. Guests really seemed to enjoy the popular music favorites during the happy hour. This was something we would definitely say to do at your wedding because it is a perfect way to personalize your day. Would hire this group again in a heartbeat!
