About this vendor
Threadbury is a modern made-to-measure suiting brand based in Washington, DC, and dedicated to weddings and other special events. They create wedding suits, tuxedos, shirts, and separates that fit real people. Founded by a couple who never felt at home in standard off-the-rack sizes, they focus on inclusive sizing, thoughtful details, and styles that feel like you.
Whether you want custom clothing for yourself or are coordinating a full wedding party, Threadbury makes things made-to-measure, straightforward, and stress-free. Choose from curated fabric collections and then customize everything guided by an expert who can translate your Pinterest board and dress code into the perfect look. They offer private wedding style consultations (virtual or in-person in the DC area) to plan outfits for your entire celebration.
Each garment is made to your measurements by a wonderfully talented team of tailors. This process typically takes about four weeks. Threadbury takes the mystery out of custom suiting so you and your favorite people feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourselves on your wedding day.

I had an amazing experience buying a custom tuxedo for a wedding from Threadbury! They were very professional with their communication and had a quick and simple process. Their...
website was very well designed, and walked me through the process with images of all the possible customizations. The fabric, color, and pattern options were very extensive and I was able to get exactly what I envisioned for my tuxedo. I’m very particular about my sleeve length so I had to make a minor 1/4 inch adjustment, but Threadbury reimbursed me for the alteration and even provided some good tailor recommendations in my area. Overall it was great experience and the price point for a custom tuxedo is unmatched!
I cannot recommend Threadbury enough! If you need a high-quality suit or tuxedo, this is the place to go!
I was really impressed with the quality of the suits and efficiency of the fitting process from Threadbury. My groomsmen live in various areas across the country, so I was concern...
ed about coordinating fittings and delivery for each of them. The fitting process was so easy, even my groomsmen could do it and they received every last thread and accessory on time and accurately measured. I would suggest Threadbury for anyone in a similar situation and will shop their again.
I absolutely LOVE Threadbury and recommend them to all my fiends (not kidding, many have also worked with them!). They’re super friendly and take customer service very seriously. T...
he quality of the clothing is amazing and there’s so many choices and styles to choose from. You can’t go wrong with them, they’ll make sure you look your absolute best!
I have worked with Threadbury on two projects- one was a custom attire order and another allowed us access to some of their tuxedo inventory. First and foremost, Meagan goes above ...
and beyond to extend superb service. She is collaborative, creative and incredibly organized. Her thorough approach was particularly important for the custom order, as she followed up many times to ensure the fit of the custom blazer was perfect. Threadbury totally delivered on both experiences: their suits are polished, high quality and elegant. Their customization and careful fitting allows for a superb final product. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for suiting options for their wedding or special event
Great experience for Tall Father of the Bride:

k my best for my daughter's wedding, and decided to get a Threadbury suit and dress shirt for the ceremony, as well as a linen shirt and pants for the welcome party.
Not only did I feel comfortable but my wife told me I looked “amazing”, and the photos came out great. I appreciated that Threadbury talked me through the process of how to choose the right fabrics and colors, as well as details that work best for my height. While I am retired and prefer my T-shirts and flip flops, I'm yhappy that I now have a place to go when I need nicer clothes that actually fit.
I had a great experience with Threadbury. I was initially outfitted as a groomsman for a wedding, and the process was incredibly smooth — from measurements to final fit, everything...
was spot on.
What I especially appreciated was that once my measurements were on file, ordering additional shirts was effortless. I ended up getting a few casual shirts as well, which I wore on an upcoming vacation, and they fit just as well as the formal wear. The quality, comfort, and attention to detail really stood out.
Threadbury made the whole experience easy and stress-free, and the consistency across different styles was impressive. Highly recommend them for both wedding attire and everyday custom clothing.
