Hiring THREAD Events was easily the best money spent for our wedding! I wanted someone who had previous experience with our venue, and after chatting with a few planners we decided...
to go with Ashley. We ended up choosing the partial planning package as I wanted help with design along with coordination.
Throughout the whole process, Ash was such an incredible wealth of knowledge and responsive (I had A LOT of questions for her, too). While I had hired a good number of vendors on my own, Ash was vital in organizing all our rentals & recommending a florist (who was AMAZING). She also developed a design guide with three different concepts for us to choose from that would help keep the look of our wedding visually cohesive.
On the day of the wedding, all we had to do was follow our itinerary timeline and pretty much just show up! Everyone I talked to who had gotten married kept telling us that inevitably something will go wrong, but as far as we were aware everything was perfect. I truly believe that Ash and Tushita (who was brought into the loop a few months prior) were essential to this all coming together--they also made sure to check in with us the whole time to see if we needed anything or to just bring us a cocktail! We had the best time and didn't need to worry about anything. I cannot say enough great things about Ash & THREAD--if you're looking for the best planner + coordinator for your day, look no further!
Just worked with Thread on our wedding and was compelled to say how amazing they were. They were incredibly responsive, flexible, and couldn't have been more helpful to us througho...
ut our time working with them. Having never gone through planning any sort of event like this, they made us feel confident that everything was going to be taken care of. Zero stress day of because we knew we were in good hands.
We worked primarily with Chelsea, and she earned rave reviews not only from us but from our entire extended family. No small feat. I can't recommend Thread enough.
I worked with Thread Events to help produce my August wedding at the SmogShoppe. I had spoken to a couple of other planners, but Ashley took the time to ask questions, to get to kn...
ow me and understand our vision for our wedding. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming and even with all the free planning tools out there, it can still be challenging to know where to start, from pricing to lead-times to choosing the right vendors that suit your style. Ashley (and Becky) gave us thoughtful vendor recommendations they had already vetted, so we couldn't go wrong in deciding what felt right for us. I am a highly organized person, but there are so many little details that crop up along the way that I can't imagine trying to do it all myself - not to mention the full orchestration of the day-of ceremony and reception. We felt confident that everything was handled down to the last detail and we could relax and enjoy the day with our friends and family. I highly recommend them.

ue choices and had an idea of where we wanted to go for catering. Ash was always happy to work with us, super responsive with emails, put together an amazing team of vendors for our day, and worked seamlessly with the vendors that we had chosen on our own. I never regretted taking her advice about any aspect of the wedding, and when it came to our photographer, our florals, and our rentals her advice was golden! She always laid out the options, let us make the decision, and was so supportive of our choices. Her creative vision was amazing, especially when I just handed the reins to her because I was overwhelmed with choices haha!
On the day of, she and her assistant were such a happy calm presence and just took great care of us. If there were any snafus on our wedding day, we had absolutely no idea because it was flawless to us! We love Ash so much and are incredibly thankful for everything she did to make our wedding such an amazing, beautiful, care-free, and joyful day.
