About this vendor
Hello and welcome; it's lovely to meet you! My name is Rebecca, and I am the owner and founder of TheMakeupEffect.
TheMakeupEffect encompasses everything you want makeup to be. There are no limits, no boundaries, no rules. Makeup can be subtle, bewitching, unruly, romantic, playful… it’s truly an expression of YOU.
My goal is simple: I want you to look and feel amazing while using the most compassionate products.
With over 13 years of professional experience, I’m stoked to be your go-to makeup artist.
Not only do I love to dish about my favorite products and makeup hacks, but everything in my professional makeup kit is cruelty-free and vegan. This means I don't use anything that's been tested on an animal or contains funky animal byproducts. (I've got you covered!)
I'm beyond passionate about what I do, and together we'll collaborate on whatever makeup look you're dreaming up.
Thank you for visiting and please don't hesitate to e-mail me with any questions or booking inquiries.

I cannot begin to say how grateful I am for Rebecca and her talents! She made me feel absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day, and was such an essential part in making me feel calm a...
nd collected in the lead up to the wedding ceremony. Rebecca is incredibly talented; she also did makeup for two of my bridesmaids, both of whom said the makeup they had on my wedding day was the best they'd ever had done (this includes the one who had professional makeup done at her own wedding a few years ago!). She is knowledgeable about not only makeup application and products, but also skincare and general beauty routines. I truly felt prepared to have my best face ever thanks to her.
She kept us on schedule and made sure that everyone was happy with their makeup before we took off for the day. She kept us all laughing and was a calming presence on a frenetic day; for an anxious person like me this was particularly invaluable. Rebecca respected my wishes for a natural, not heavy makeup look and delivered times a thousand for my request to look like me, but prettier. I really don't have the words to say how much her work means to me- I am so incredibly grateful that she's the one whose work will live forever in my wedding pictures.
I wholeheartedly recommend Rebecca of TheMakeupEffect for your beauty needs!
