The Yellow House

Located in Waynesville, NC, The Yellow House is an idyllic, creekside wedding venue, ideal for small weddings of 40 or fewer guests. For couples looking to host their special day in a private haven surrounded by natural splendor, this location is a dream come true. They also offer special elopement packages for the most intimate events. Owners Chad King and Josh Larson came from the frigid climate of Minnesota seeking warmth, and they found it in the welcoming landscape of Waynesville. The pair bring with them a knowledge of property management, marketing, design, and most importantly, impeccable customer service. Chad and Josh aim to create a warm, inviting atmosphere within the elegance of their inn. They look forward to helping couples and their treasured guests celebrate their union in this refined and secluded location. The surrounding gardens of the inn are lush with greenery, proving a stunning backdrop for your wedding ceremony or couples portraits. Choose to hold your service on the well-manicured lawns or by the majesty of the property’s waterfall. You may rent the grounds for an outdoor celebration or make the entire inn your very own for the day. Heading towards the beautiful guest house, you’ll find a red brick porch where you may host a cocktail reception following your special ceremony. Inside, you’ll find a home decked out in an eclectic collection of antiques and rustic decor. The bed and breakfast itself has overnight space for 28 guests, allowing your party to spend a night in serene luxury. These experienced owners have a track record of hosting thoroughly enjoyable events. They offer their assistance to all couples hoping to celebrate at the inn, providing a catalog of trustworthy vendors if needed. This list of professionals includes florists, caterers, photographers, and tent rentals to name a few. Chad and Josh have invested time in curating a collection of wedding experts and local vendors that will complement their property and the couples they host there. Additionally, they provide recommendations for ceremony officiants that have become mainstays of the inn, and Chad is ordained and can officiate. All of this assistance aims to relieve the stress that can often come with planning your big day so you can fully soak in the serenity of this special venue.
