The Yacht Club

The venue itself is gorgeous. We opted to book the lawn, patio, and ballroom. It didn't rain on our wedding day, but the wind was enough to pull our cocktail hour inside. Jen was super helpful in securing another area for our guests during that time. Overall, wonderful venue, wonderful staff, and gorgeous sunset views. We love The Yacht Club!

here! Jennifer Cushman is the event manager/coordinator….AMAZING! She is the absolute sweetest and just went above and beyond to make our day perfect. If there were any issues I didn’t hear about it because she was on it! My guest were telling me after the wedding how great and cool she was! Chris is her assistant and took care of the late hours! So great! He was so great to keep everything moving and we just appreciate his hard work along with all of the bartenders and staff!!!! Our pictures on the grounds were STUNNING with the lake background, food served (through their restaurant) was sooooo delicious, service was just awesome! We can not thank them enough for our perfect day and I would not have changed a thing!!!!💍

. Highly recommend this to anyone considering an event.

ELY beautiful. It was the waterfront wedding I always dreamt of but didn't think would be possible in the Dallas area! The scenery of the marina and far-reaching Lake Ray Hubbard perfectly fit into the nautical themed wedding I had always hoped for. I honestly didn't think I needed to decorate too much because the scenery in of itself was beautiful. The food tasting was also an enjoyable experience. Jen was super flexible with our guest list changes and accommodating all of my vendors - including the videographer, DJ, photographer and photo booth. They all coordinated nicely. I would say that the Yacht Club itself has very limited hours. Therefore, it was not always easy to get someone on the phone during certain times of the day and we did not always get a quick turnaround in email response. That made for some hiccups in the efficiency of the planning, but ultimately it all worked out really well. Another thing I loved about the venue is the women's and men's get-ready lounges. PERFECT space for me and all my bridesmaids and flower girls to get ready. Oh, another thing that I think people should be aware of was booking time to rehearse for the wedding was a little tricky because depending on which site you want your ceremony, it could be used for another event unless you book out an larger area. We got lucky that the lawn space wasn't in use the night before the wedding, so we got a chance to rehearse there without renting more than our budget could accommodate. Nevertheless, as I mentioned, it was an overall enjoyable experience having my dream wedding here. My husband and I even got a chance to meet the general manager which wee thought was cool and nice of him to swing by to make sure we had a great experience. Jen's assistance was helpful too as he was still learning the ropes. And again, the chef presented delicious meals during our tasting. So, overall - highly recommend! But be prepared to budget out everything accordingly and have possible lag time in email/phone call responses due to the hours. :-)

nt staff, and the breathtaking scenery! I don’t think there is a better place we could have chosen for our special day! Jen (Event Manager) is absolutely amazing, and we highly recommend you reach out to her and make your special day be a dream come true!

in 7 days. Extremely communicative and so polite. I’m definitely going back.

quick at responding if my mother or I ever needed anything and throughout the day of my wedding she made sure I was good all night and made it so effortless. Couldn’t have picked a better place for my dream wedding!
