My husband and I got married at Wolf Creek Retreat this past April, and we’re still beaming from how magical the day was! Our guests cannot stop talking about how breathtaking the ...
venue is and how seamlessly everything flowed from start to finish.
Working with Chris was an absolute dream. From day one, she was warm, flexible, and incredibly responsive. She answered every call, accommodated multiple venue tours, and always made us feel supported. Her professionalism and genuine care made the entire planning process feel effortless.
We chose the Dream Package, and wow! It truly lived up to its name! The included wedding coordinator, bartender, and DJ were all fantastic!! Each person on the team brought positive energy, attention to detail, and a clear dedication to making our day perfect.
The venue itself is stunning, with evergreen decor and twinkling lights that are always in place, which made decorating a breeze (less stress for the bride = a huge win!). What you see is truly what you get, no surprises, just beauty and thoughtful touches everywhere you look, which gave us endless photos as well.
Thanks to Chris and her incredible team, our wedding day wasn’t just perfect, it was unforgettable. I am so grateful we found Wolf Creek Retreat and would give it a solid 11/10 without hesitation!
I attended an event here a few months back. Disappointing and the facilities leave much to be desired. People who live on the property complained about noise during the event and m...
usic was ordered shut off when police arrived, all before 9PM. The toilets are also outhouses/portapotties which I did not realize until I used one.
We had the most perfect wedding day and that was in large part because we had the most perfect venue. We were concerned about finding a venue that would fit our budget but we knew ...
we found a hidden gem when we stumbled across the Wolf Creek Retreat. We absolutely could not believe how beautiful this venue was and the perfect fit for the outdoor, relaxed atmosphere we wanted. We decided pretty much on the spot that it was the place for us -- we didn't even look at any other venues! We had SO many guests compliment our choice of venue too. Chris was great about keeping us on top of things and staying in contact with our vendors (even more so than us!) and was so attuned to the little details that helped make our day even more special (things like turning on the fountain at the moment of our first kiss -- OMG how cute! And magically getting the arch that we wanted to the site). We are so thankful to everything Chris did for us and our wedding day!
I Dj here on Halloween night, Chris was great to work with, I love the lighting on the bridge, it creates a very beautiful entrance for the guest as they arrive for the ceremony. W...

ber 21st 2019 . My fiancé and I found a venue called The Wolf Creek Retreat at Elm lake in Brookville Ohio . Beautiful venue , it was in our budget . We went and viewed it September 25th 2019 and fell in love. The only date they had available in October at the time was October 23rd 2020 . I wanted to wait to book that date because it is an outside venue and I didn’t want it to be too cold . I received a text and call from the Venue lady at Wolf Creek a couple days later and stated that she had October 3rd 2020 become available. I jumped on that and decided to book with them as the date October 3rd is my parents anniversary of meeting. Fast forward to January 19th I received a call from Wolf Creek stating that my venue was DOUBLE BOOKED . I was heartbroken. The venue tried to offer me other dates they had available but I wanted my fall wedding on that specific date as it meant something special to me. I luckily found a new venue that I am in love with and it’s a blessing in disguise. I just wanted to make others aware as I have read other people have had experiences with this venue already. Thank you .
I had the pleasure to work with Chris (the owner) a couple weekends ago for a wedding that I DJ'd. She was awesome! Greeted me as soon as I arrived and did her best to help me get ...
my equipment close to the reception location so I didn't have to drag it too far. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and that pond adds such a beautiful extra to anyone getting married. Highly recommend her and The Wolf Creek Retreat!

knew we had found our venue! The lake is stunning and provided a beautiful backdrop to our ceremony, as well as, lovely photos, and a nice breeze- even in the middle of summer! Chris, the owner, runs a tight ship, and helped us facilitate a smooth and worry-free wedding day. The pavilion was beautiful and fully equipped with the space and electricity for DJ and Catering. The location and historical buildings are full of charm and photograph so well. The price was amazing, too!
The venue was picture perfect, Chris the venue coordinator was timely and helpful, and we received so many compliments from friends and family about the ceremony and reception area...
s. We would highly recommend The Wolf Creek Retreat!
1. Christine, the owner, was FABULOUS. So amazing and easy to work with. She runs a seamless show and there were no hiccups! She even had her own beautiful decorations outside and ...
along the paths so it actually saved us time and money because she already had such beautiful lights and greenery everywhere.
2. the price was unbelievable! This venue was a miracle and exactly something out of my dreams for what I wanted our wedding reception to look like.
3. Everything about the venue is amazing. The water is gorgeous and has a nice breeze, the pavilion was beautiful and perfectly sized for our party, Christine was easy to work with and has lots of experience with weddings, the parking situation was incredibly planned out and easy for everyone, the historical history was a great conversation piece for people! I could literally go on and on about this place but I hope this is enough. I am so happy we chose this place.

gh it rained on us for a moment, everyone still had an amazing time, and stayed dry. Chris and her family work hard to upkeep the facilities, and it shows. She was also incredibly professional and accomodating to work with. Chris checked in with us occasionally prior to the wedding, and was very helpful answering any questions. We highly recommend the Wolf Creek Retreat if you are looking for a venue with great value, want a beautiful outdoor wedding, and want to be treated with a curteousy that every wedding vendor should provide.
Thank you to Chris and her family for hosting us and making our wedding a huge success!

hings go as smoothly as possible even with horrible weather! We all had a great time! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outdoor event.
There is nothing like the beauty of this venue; it was truly spectacular and I do not use that term lightly. For all the things that did not go according to plan, the weather being...
number one among them, Chris was absolutely a treasure. Supportive, caring, patient, and a quick communicator, she made our day as special and meaningful as it could have been. Chris really cares about making your wedding meaningful and special, and the history of the property makes it so unique! She also helped organize things so efficiently and dealt with all the last minute crazy stuff... including an inclement weather plan... this was the best choice we made for our wedding, hands down. The pictures from our day are breathtaking, too... they pretty much take themselves at a place like The Wolf Creek Retreat. Our guests had a great time and are still talking about how beautiful it was, weeks later. I don't think you can find another venue that offers so much for such a reasonable price. I could go on and on but you really should see it for yourself.
I was married here this past weekend. JUST AMAZING. Hands down, this was the best wedding decision we made. Aside from the grounds being extremely beautiful, photogenic and well-ma...
intained, the owner, Chris, was exceptional. She was accommodating, warm, thorough, and reassured me that our big day would go smoothly. (and it did! best wedding ever!) Chris was prompt with all of our communications prior to wedding, and I never felt that I was left hanging-- ever. All of my questions were answered, she pointed me in the direction of some fantastic vendors, and she simply was available, without fail, each time that I needed her help. I just cant say enough abut Chris! She was remarkable and such a joy, I really felt like she was there for me. Deciding on my venue was really the foundation for how the rest of my wedding decisions proceeded, and I just feel so lucky and blessed that I found the perfect place for what I needed and I was able to make nearly all of my conceptual desires a reality. Just a beautiful place.. and I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! Just wait until you see that beautiful lake at sunset, and the super unique and adorable bathrooms :)
We had our wedding at The Wolf Creek Retreat at Elm Lake Estate in October 2016. I highly recommend considering this venue for your wedding or event if you want the perfect mix of ...
Gatlinburg style warmth and beauty! Chris, the owner, was terrific to work with both during the initial booking process, and also during the set up and tear down. Chris was so responsive to our emails and questions, throughout the entire planning process. She helps you figure things out beforehand, and is there with you the whole day and ready to make any last-minute changes you need.
The Wolf Creek allows you to bring in your own alcohol and use any vendors you wish. You will not regret having your wedding or corporate event here!
This location is like a fairy tale – you walk across a bridge from the parking area, and another bridge across Wolf Creek. There's lots of outdoor space to travel around for photos.
The bridge is lit with fairy lights that light up the creek. Then you see the Honeymoon Harbor Club house…old-timey with mason jar lighting and French doors that open up onto the deck overlooking Elm Lake. Inside restrooms for changing, a table for gifts, and a wonderful bar!
Where do I even begin. I watched this venue get built from the ground up starting last year. I emailed Chris (the owner) as soon as I saw a sign about a wedding venue coming soon. ...
I cannot say enough about Chris. She was absolutely fantastic to work with. She let us come in and really look around and try to get ideas for our wedding. She had so much patience and seemed to really love helping brides and grooms out with their vision. This venue is beyond beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. I had the most amazing experience with the venue and the staff. They made it like I was the only person getting married there and truly listened to the style of wedding my husband and I wanted and made it happen. She was so genuine and seemed to really love her job. She provided the little extras that we would have never thought of. It was absolutely perfect! Thanks Wolf Creek Retreat and Chris! Our day was perfect in every way !!!
