We had our wedding welcome party at The Wine Loft in early April 2024 and it was a big hit! We received multiple compliments on the food and space. Kristen was very easy to work wi...
th in preparing for the event and everything went smoothly day-of. We did not provide any decorations because there is already great ambience. There are multiple hotels and bars in walking distance. All in all a very easy, cool, and fun place to have an event and I would definitely choose it again.
My husband and I celebrated our recent marriage with a party at the Wine Loft. Kristin was a pleasure to work with during the planning; she had lots of great ideas to make the even...
ing special. The food was delicious, the room warm and inviting, and her staff friendly and helpful. The Wine Loft even created a specialty cocktail for the event! We also got lots of compliments on the jazz trio Kristin recommended. A guest from NYC commented she wished there was an event space like the Wine Loft in Manhattan!
We are so glad we chose The Wine Loft for our reception venue! Kristin is so easy to work with and was very helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. The food was so ...
tasty and the bar options were well above average. The space is pretty on its own so you hardly have to add any décor and you don't have to rent tables and table cloths . Would definitely recommend this venue!
I will start this review with IF you’re thinking about using this venue for your event- it’s an ABSOLUTE DO IT!!!! Stop thinking JUST DO IT!
I’m not sure I can put into words how ...
incredibly easy and amazing our experience was at The Wine Loft, but I’ll give it my best shot.
Kristin, the manager, to start, was knowledgeable and available at all times to answer my questions. She went above and beyond, as I live out of state and planning the Rehearsal Dinner wasn’t as easy, if I was local. She sent me videos of the venue so I had a visual. Kristin helped plan every aspect from cocktail hour, food, speeches…you name it! She literally answered every text, email, call in such a timely manner.
When Kristin says you really don’t need much in terms of decor, she’s 100% right!! We did have a small amount of decor and candles to turn on. She made sure the welcome sign was out front (and was so careful with my floral swag) and 40+ votives turned on.
THE FOOD- oh THE FOOD!! It was absolutely incredible. My number one suggestion is getting a prime rib carving station. WOOW!! It was beyond tender and PERFECTLY cooked. I was in absolute shock and even told Kristin how delicious it was. Sure enough, the chef was next to me when i told her- Sir, my family (that eats too much prime rib) can’t stop talking about it. When I say my family couldn’t stop talking about it, I’m serious!!! Everyone was in shock and family members that don’t even eat red meat went back for thirds. IT WAS THAT GOOD!!!! All of the food was, but my goodness- that prime rib really was something!
The service as a whole was absolutely incredible. The food was plentiful. I would not change a single thing about my son & daughter-in-laws rehearsal dinner. It was very swanky, top notch service, and top notch alcohol & food!! Everyone still talks about how much fun they had and how relaxed it was!
Do yourself a favor and book The Wine Loft. Your future self will thank you.

Kristin and team that really make this space wonderful. She was so easy and pleasant to work with throughout the whole experience. Has great ideas and recommendations...is easy to reach and brainstorm with. Everything combined made our rehearsal event run seamlessly!

d beyond, and you know she will based on your first meeting with her. The Wine Loft is so beautiful, you do not even need to bring in décor. Our guests raved about the bar service and food. We fit a 7 piece band and had roughly 175 guest present and never felt crowded. Y'all, I could go on and on. My point: do not sleep on The Wine Loft.

The venue is beautiful and does not need much done to it in terms of decoration, the food was great, all of the staff were friendly and it’s a great space to do a variety of events. We had lots of compliments from our guests about the venue and I highly recommend them for your next event! Thank you!!

s were super friendly and helpful. The planner, Kristen and the owner, Mike, were so accommodating and really helped make our special night even more special. Worth noting - they truly listened and handled my food allergy with understanding and worked diligently to ensure I ate safely and without concern. The night was flawless. HIGHLY recommend!!!!! I wish I could give 10 stars!!
The Wine Loft is a beautiful venue for a wedding event or other memorable party. It is a historical building located in downtown Birmingham. It has a massive antique bar across the...
back of the large, continuous room with seating nooks located around the perimeter of the space and several high-top eating tables. The floors are polished hardwoods with a lovely exposed ceiling. It is a very comfortable space with rich amber lighting and plenty of area for mingling with a large group. Wireless microphones, a stereo sound system that the staff can easily connect to your playlist, and screen with projector for videos are only a small part of the amenities. The manager, Kristen Warren, is so friendly and approachable. She took extra care to answer all of our questions, make menu recommendations, and was always available by texting whenever issues came up with our rehearsal dinner. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff worked hard to be sure our eating and drinking needs were quickly attended to. They serve several local beers on tap and a variety of wines and champagne. They also have a full bar selection available. The food was really delicious! They served a variety of dishes that pleased even our special needs guests of young children and those with serious food allergies. I really can’t say enough great things about The Wine Loft! We had so many quests that repeatedly commented on what a stunning venue it was. Kristin was so easy to work with and made planning and execution of our event as easy as it possibly could be. All of the staff seemed to really enjoy the evening as well. Five stars!

VID. In addition, I was planning from out of state, and unfamiliar with Birmingham. I am so very grateful to have chosen to work with Kristin Warren at The Wine Loft. She is absolutely one of the most professional. organized, and flexible person I have ever experienced. I'm sure Kristen had her hands full juggling numerous clients, but she always had undivided time for me - my questions, reassurance, menu planning, etc. Our event turned out to be a huge success thanks to Kristen and the Wine Loft. Would highly recommend.

sy on us. The team there was so kind and understanding throughout every stage of postponing our wedding, and the event was worth the wait. The space is so gorgeous that it really only needed a few decorations to feel special. Also, the food was phenomenal! My husband and I are both vegetarian, and The Wine Loft was so accommodating. It's a perfect space for rehearsal dinners, smaller weddings, and private events.
