The Willows at Historic Strasburg

n-law’s dreams were not only a dream, but would be made reality through this dedicated team and venue.  Suggestions were given respectfully and chosen with our kids delicious menu ideas made to order.  We chose to have the couple’s rehearsal dinner at the Fireside Restaurant as well. (They catered the reception at The Willows in addition). The meals were superb for both.  But even more elevated were the choices of passed and stationary appetizers.   Nothing was left to chance and yet, very personable to our children.  And how could I not mention our bartenders and wait staff?   Our guests were thrilled with their variety of beverages and the courteous service of the staff.  Need I say, everyone in attendance had the time of their lives, celebrating the marriage of Caroline and Mike. I would recommend that you sit down and talk with Bridget and Amanda before booking your event.  I am sure you will be as thrilled with The Willows, The Fireside and especially their care in planning your wedding.

and Bridget is out of this world. They truly make your wedding feel like a fairy tale. They go above and beyond and the planning process is flawless with them by your side. Our chef, Mike, made sure our food was delicious in the bridal lounge as well as during our reception (as always) Fireside is beautiful but the phenomenal team they have working there just makes it all the better. I would recommend them over and over. Thank you fireside!

he decorations that we brought were set up perfectly, and they made sure everything was running smoothly the entire day. The courtyard is kept very nice, as well as all around the restaurant, making for amazing photo spots. There are also a few willow trees which are great picture spots! The bridal suite was beautifully decorated. We had about 10 people in there and still had plenty of room. When we emailed over questions, they got back to us quickly, reassuring us of any concerns we had and offering any assistance if needed. They were on top of everything, including emailing over information, reminding us of important due dates, setting up decorations, and letting us know what the next steps were. The tasting was scheduled while the restaurant was closed, so we had a quiet area to try everything and ask questions if needed. I have a dairy allergy and they were incredibly attentive with which menu items would be easy to make dairy free, the substitutions I could make for my specific plate, and even gave me a vegan roll for the rehearsal dinner and reception! So many of our family members commented on how amazing Amanda and Bridgette were for the wedding reception. They quietly cleared plates and tables when guests got up to dance, set out water next to the dance floor, asked if we needed anything during the night, and  had everything packed up into boxes by the time the night was over, ready to load up into our cars. We have heard that most coordinators will be absent the day of and not around much during the reception, but Amanda and Bridgette were present the entire time. They jumped in to help the rest of the staff if needed and made sure everything was on track. Our guests started to sit down a bit earlier than cocktail hour was supposed to end, so Bridgette and Amanda came to tell us that they were going to start dinner service earlier so guests didn't have to sit for long before food is served. Everything moved so smoothly that no one even knew that we were ahead of schedule for the night. The entire schedule of the day was so smooth and stress-free because of them! We also got tons of compliments on the food and were so happy with how everything turned out! We were served at our sweetheart table, while the guests were announced to the buffet, giving us a much needed quiet moment to just soak in the day between the two of us. The amazing chef even came out to greet us after the reception to ask how everything was (he greeted us at the tasting as well). The entire staff was so kind and truly wanted to make sure everything was perfect! We can't thank Amanda, Bridgett and The Willows staff enough for making our day absolutely perfect and as stress-free as possible. If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would!!

ose for our event, the prices were on point, and the venue itself was charming and cozy….just right for our special event.  And then of course the food was delicious.  We offered our guests 3 dinner options, and there was nothing but rave reviews.  We were all thankful to have a stress-free rehearsal dinner, especially when nerves are higher in anticipation of the big day.  This is a great venue!

alking about how yummy it was, and I loved that it was still warm when served to us. The private area was calm and relaxing, perfect for the occasion. We truly appreciate how well the team communicated with us and their patience throughout the planning process. It meant so much to us, and we’ll never forget how special they made the night. We’ll definitely be coming back! thank you again for making our rehearsal dinner unforgettable! 9-26-25

er providing an intimate setting for our families to celebrate before the big day. The food was spectacular and the staff so kind and accommodating, willing to whatever they could to add to joy of the celebration. I am so very thankful for their work in making such a beautiful experience and memory!

nda, made sure everything went seamlessly from the very first meeting to the end of the actual event. All our details were handled with utmost care. Amanda put my mind at ease and because of her, I was able to fully enjoy the evening with my son and family. The wait staff and bartenders were great and the highest compliments to the chef as the food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the private rooms upstairs from the main restaurant with gorgeous views of the surrounding Lancaster County farmland. The rooms made for a quaint and personal experience with our guests. The wedding was the next day at The Willows, which is on property with the Fireside Tavern, owned and operated by the same family. Having the rehearsal dinner and wedding on the same grounds made it extremely convenient for the bridal party and family members, especially with 2 hotels a short walk from the venue. Would highly recommend to any future couples. Thanks Fireside Tavern and The Willows!

delicious, the atmosphere relaxed, and everything ran smoothly. It truly set the tone for a joyful wedding weekend. Highly recommend for any special event!

the staff was so attentive The Lancaster room was just the right size. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

runs smoothly.

ere their only event. On the day of the staff took care of all decorations and table settings. Amanda worked directly with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry about anything all weekend. Micheal was my second favorite person in the world! He checked on me multiple times throughout the event. He even reset the lighting and fireplace in the ceremony room so we could go back to take pictures. The pricing was simplified and easy to understand. It was nice having them handle the food&bev, 1 less vendor to worry about. The venue as a location has its own unique character. It’s perfect as is or you can layer it into your own idea.

Amanda, is absolutely incredible. She is so responsive and made our wedding run so perfectly. She truly goes above and beyond and accommodates to almost any request. Mike, who also assisted with our day, was so great! He even danced with our guests while cleaning up a spill. Our guests continuously complimented how great Amanda and Mike were and how much they helped our day be so perfect. I honestly cannot say enough great things about them. I would recommend anyone plan your event through the Willows so you have the opportunity to work with them! The food was delicious. We did our trial and loved everything, it was so hard to choose. Guests are still raving about how the food was delicious and hot even with having 130 guests. Do not pass up on adding the lamb chops to your hors d’oeuvres, they were outstanding! A lot of our guests also went over to the Tavern for an after party after the wedding and had a fantastic time! The venue itself is gorgeous and absolutely perfect for a winter wedding! If I could do it all over, I would absolutely book the willows again for so many reasons. Thank you so much to The Willows and also to Amanda and Mike for going above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true. I would recommend anyone searching for a wedding venue to consider the Willows!

s to keep us on track and organized were absolutely amazing. Additionally the actual venue was clean, beautiful, and they did SO much for us. During our rehearsal and wedding day, there was never a moment where I was wanting for anything or struggling to find help. Amanda is amazing and her job and so incredibly kind. From the tour, to the food tasting, to the wedding day, you will enjoy every part of working with this venue. Our friends and family have also given us so many compliments and commented on how great all of the staff was on wedding day. I can’t speak highly enough of how hard this team worked to set it all up and break it all down on wedding day. I feel it is also important to note that the Willows includes everything you will need, bar packages, food service or buffet, ceremony chairs, tables, linens, table settings, even centerpieces and other decor. There’s a huge stress relief in booking the Willows! Enjoy! Thank you Willows! Alex and Emily

da is an amazing resource, the absolute best in the business. As a wedding officiant, I have been involved in many weddings, and none have been as seamless and low stress as this one. The food was spectacular, and we received many comments that it was our family’s favorite wedding. There is nothing we would have changed about our wedding experience. To top it off; the grounds and location were stunning for a fall wedding. The staff at the venue truly cares about the grounds, and it always looks beautiful. It is also very helpful to have two hotels in the same compound, for traveling guests. We love the willows and will be back to the fireside for dinner soon!

entire team was beyond our expectations! She was so thorough in her planning, her response time to any questions was outstanding and she went above and beyond to make our vision come to life. From the day we first visited the venue to the very end of our reception, Amanda and the staff made us feel like top priority. The food was incredible (our guest are still raving about it), the attention to detail was spectacular and the warm, caring service was unparalleled. Special shoutout to Amanda’s assistant, Michael, for dancing it up with our guests and bringing the party to our already lively party as well! Thank you for everything! Review reader: if you’re considering The Willows for your wedding or any other event, stop debating and book them asap! Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything, Amanda and team!!!

The staff, with a special thank you to Michael were outstanding. Thank you for all the wonderful memories of our special day.

excellent!

the bar hours/staying open, but we had fun regardless. Would recommend!

least, the food was amazing!! It was such an easy event to plan thanks to the Fireside staff!

ight. The grounds were beautiful and made for gorgeous photos. We worked with Amanda who is a total gem. She was so communicative and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and was a lifesaver the day of. She seemingly though of everything. My fiance and I were both really excited for our cheese steak egg roll appetizers but missed them due to pictures and Amanda made sure we still got some. When I realized that I forgot our cake knife, she provided one, and when I brought some extra decor and said "I have this but have no idea what to do with it, she made it fit seamlessly. She also consolidated everything into fewer boxes to allow for easier transport back home and packed up food for us to bring back to our hotel. The waitstaff was so friendly and attentive. I got so many comments about how above and beyond they went including jumping in for a quick assist when there was a spill by a younger guest and even stepping in to take photos for a guest when asked. If I had to plan my wedding over again, I would 1000% percent choose the willows again. I have the most amazing wedding memories and The Willows played a huge role in that. I am so grateful.

everything set up perfectly the day of and clean up was a breeze as the staff helped package everything up at the close of the reception.

o create our 1920s theme wedding. We received MANY compliments on the food! Everything about this venue from the location, the staff and the food was simply amazing!

he coordinator for the Willows was far and away the best I’ve ever seen. She made the reception amazing with her availability, knowledge and professionalism. Whatever they pay her, it is not enough. She was flat out sensational.

s! From our first meeting, Amanda was kind, considerate, informative and ALWAYS on top of every detail. The day of the wedding was rainy, we had intended on doing an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but the grounds were too wet for the chairs, so a last minute change was made to move indoors, all was set up beautifully in record time! Amanda was always available, I feel like she just instinctively knew when we needed her, because we would turn around and she would be there! Of course, the weather turned lovely, so servers continuously brought out trays of appetizers and drinks to the numerous guests who went outside to enjoy the sun! The servers were very attentive and friendly, and were always available when needed. The food at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception was fresh, hot, plentiful and delicious, we received numerous compliments from many of our guests. We had a wonderful experience at The Willows, and would highly recommend their venue for your special day!

question and an over all pleasure to work with! The servers that worked our wedding were also very kind and attentive. Our guests continue to tell us how much they enjoyed the food and location!

rvers were excellent. Would absolutely recommend anyone to use The Willows for their wedding.

ur evening smooth and fun!

us on how beautiful the venue looked and how amazing the food tasted. They couldn’t believe how great the food tasted. The service was amazing! The servers were always on top of it making sure empty glasses and plates were cleared off every table throughout the night. And Amanda always made sure throughout the night that we, the bride and groom, didn’t need anything. If we did she made sure to bring it to us directly. Amanda communicated with us throughout the entire time we were planning to have our reception at The Willows at Historic Strasburg. We had plenty of questions while planning our wedding and she always responded right away. I highly recommend The Willows at Historic Strasburg for your wedding.

rom the first time we met with her to the last hour of the wedding day. We appreciated her kindness, attention to detail and her prompt, patient answers to our many & sometimes repetitive questions. As parents of the bride, we were able to celebrate and enjoy this day free from stress and worry thanks to Amanda & her staff.

ctual reception we were very impressed with everything

erly pushy. Throughout the entire planning process, Amanda was responsive, thorough, and detail oriented. It was so easy and fun to work with her! The space is beautiful and our guests raved about the food!! My husband and I felt cared for all night, from Amanda checking in to bringing us drinks. She made it easy for my parents to clean up at the end of the night too. Could not recommend them enough!

he ease of the venue with everything on site! The staff was extremely helpful, and made sure we could enjoy our night. Being able to have drinks, catering and venue in one place was the easiest way to plan, and the Willows did not disappoint at all. I can not recommend this place enough.

the way to make planning our reception a breeze even through Covid delays. The food and service was also exceptional; an overall great experience.

taken care of for us, even the decorations that I made were carefully set out then packed up for us at the end of the night. The space was so beautiful that i would not have even needed my own decor if I didn't want to worry about it. Their event coordinator Amanda went above and beyond and made everything flow so nicely. From the moment we expressed interest in having our event there until the end of the night of our wedding she handled every detail perfectly. Her communication was always prompt and kind. The food was fantastic and everyone at the end of the night was saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had! We just could not be happier with our choice and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to plan a wedding in the future. After pricing out many different options, The Willows was the best value without having to perform set up and take down ourselves. All in all for approx 100 people for a buffet of amazing food and not having to worry about a single thing we spent around $9600 including the venue, decor, food, and drinks (we had a cash bar). It was worth every penny.

amazing, detail oriented, super attentive, and organized throughout the whole process.

! Amanda Kramer was such a joy to work with! She made everything so easy. Beautiful place, excellent food, great service. We would highly recommend The Willows!!

bout how great the day was. The courtyard was beautiful and we are so grateful for the fabulous decor and extras they provide. Having an all-inclusive venue like the Willows made our day so much easier and was definitely one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Huge thank you to Amanda! She's the sweetest and most amazing coordinator ever! Thank you for making our big day the best! ♥️

and the space is gorgeous. We have memories that we will cherish for a lifetime thanks to everyone’s hard work!

remember for a life time. A special shout out to Amanda and all her hard work and coordination allowing us to enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything.

so that I did not have to worry about anything; she managed both the big and the small details so we could enjoy our guests and our very special day. I can't say enough good things about our experience: Amanda was amazing--she was the glue that held everything together; the bartending staff was attentive to our guests, but also took extra special care to make sure the bride and groom had everything we needed; the hot and cold hors d'oeurves were the appropriate temperature and the soup and main meal were delicious. It is rare that you find a place that has good ambiance, as well as good food! The clean up process after the wedding ( getting all our wedding favors and décor ) was also painless for me thanks to the Willows staff-- they were thorough, fast and efficient! I was able to focus on the important things on our special day.

, atmosphere, amenities, and the list goes on and on! The food was fantastic at both the rehearsal at Fireside and at the reception at The Willows. The outside ceremony was so lovely. My son and daughter in law's day at the The Willows was perfect. Would highly recommend!

was perfect for our smaller wedding as well (90ppl) with the bridal lounge just across the hall. The food was amazing, and you get a lot of options for sides. Our guest could not stop talking about how good everything they tried was!!! They were so accommodating as well to 2 of my guest who had very specific dietary restrictions. Most of all we couldn’t imagine how we would have gotten through the day without the day of planner Amanda and her amazing team! Seriously, they were so supportive, accommodating and on top of everything with the friendliest biggest smiles! It was raining that day and they were so on top of getting chairs and tables dried and everything set up on time for us, while even setting up the backup indoor location just in case. Amanda checked in with us all day and night to be sure we had everything covered and didn’t need anything. Even our guest commented how impressed they were at how on top of things she and the entire team was, and the cost was perfect, unlike other venues they don’t try to be ridiculous because it’s a wedding. So happy we had our special day here and had this amazing team with us. Thank you again for everything you did and getting us through the stress of the day and making things run smoothly. Nick &Sher
