The Wedding Entertainment Collective

He walked us through all the different decisions that we needed to make, while making wonderful recommendations. He has a really helpful app to organize music, and made sure each aspect of the ceremony and reception were covered. Dax worked closely with us to make our wedding and reception exactly what we wanted it to be. He played the "must have" songs and did a great job of emceeing to ensure everything moved along on schedule. Of course, we had some last minute changes in the schedule thanks to an unexpected snowstorm, and he adjusted seamlessly. Everyone had a great time, and still talk about the dance club portion of the evening. As an added bonus, Dax made a custom shirt in our wedding colors featuring the faces of our cats! It was such a hit! We opted for the diamond photo booth package. The photo booth pictures were fabulous. Dax brought along an assistant to run the photo booth who is also very friendly and fun. Worth every penny and more! Now, we just want to come up with an excuse for another party so we can hire him again!

very seamless and stress-free. I had a vision for my bridal walk and my father/daughter dance and he worked tirelessly to make sure they were perfect. On the wedding day, he kept the energy high and everyone had a blast on the dance floor and at the photo booth -- thank you Tommy for creating a wonderful experience! One of my favorite moments at my reception was hearing Slipknot and having a well-maintained mosh pit! Also, thank you Dax and Tommy for capturing moments throughout the day including my epic walk down. These guys will definitely make your day unforgettable!

ping the dance floor energy high, as that was a focus of our wedding experience for friends and family. We really appreciated his flexibility with the timeline for the parent dances while my dress bustle was being fixed. Overall, we were happy with the service and the guest experience. It felt like the big, crazy party that we envisioned. The only points we were disappointed about were the more personal touches that were important to us. We were disappointed that the groom and bridal ceremony entrance songs were not the versions of the songs that we had planned. This changed the entire ambiance of our vision at the moments that we will remember forever. Fortunately, our videographer can overlay the correct songs onto our video, allowing us to relive it as we envisioned, with the acoustic and correct singers on each song. Additionally, a few of our 'must-play' songs were not played during the open dancing. Again, we still fully believe the dancing atmosphere was electric, but we were bummed that we were unable to have those additional exceptional and shared experiences with others that those songs represented to us.

the dance floor and played the music accordingly. People were on the dance floor ALL night! Very professional and you can tell he cares about his job and company!

llective is incredibly organized, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made us feel so cared for and genuinely excited leading up to the big day. And on the wedding day- DJ John was perfect! The music, the energy, the vibes- everything was spot on, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had. We are so, so grateful and truly cannot recommend The Wedding Entertainment Collective enough!

s and meticulously carried out. The communication was extremely clear, perfectly timed, collaborative, and just generally kind. Dax’s passion and professional experience make him the ideal wedding DJ, most importantly his technical skills, wedding knowledge, and fun personality. We were very careful when selecting our DJ because we really wanted to find someone who not only provided a fun reception, but also a logistically sound ceremony and day. From our first presentation with Dax we could tell he was the superior choice. Whereas other DJ’s offered a quick chat and minimal info, Dax had an informative presentation that covered his pre-wedding process for inputting every piece of music into our day, information about ceremony audio quality, microphone options, speaker types, getting audio to the videographer, song timings and rehearsal advice, lighting information, Photo Booth information, and so much more. Every last detail is accounted for and the pricing is fair. Our ceremony and wedding events were perfectly seamless and our reception was incredibly fun- all thanks to Dax. Our advice- do not under any circumstance give your friend a Spotify playlist, or hire a DJ that is not invested in your ceremony just as much as the party. DJ Brian was also an incredible assistant and photobooth attendant. You could just tell this team was genuinely happy to be included in our day and were there to do the best job possible. We hope you choose to trust Dax and Brian with your day! We are thankful for them both everyday, a whole year later!

h throughout the entire process. His online portal was user friendly and allowed us to upload our playlists directly from Spotify. It also helped us communicate clearly to Dax so he knew exactly what we wanted throughout our reception. Dax had the dance floor packed all night long with his mixes and impeccable song transitions! I think almost every single guest complimented our choice of DJ!! We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Dax!

ely organized and help contribute to a stress free and fun wedding. Leading up to our wedding, he was extremely communicative and responsive. The day of, we had the absolute best party and an amazing dance floor. Picking a wedding DJ may fall to the bottom of the wedding planning list but a truly good DJ controls the entire vibe of the guests and party.

. My dance floor was packed all night and our guests are still raving about the playlist!

gital monogram was a great addition. He made everything very easy and was always very responsive. Would definitely recommend for any event!

r our wedding and gave us playlists to refine and perfect. He had a great set up at the wedding and nailed every cue and announcement. He kept the dance floor going and even overcame some technical difficulties with grace and poise. Our wedding reception party was a huge success in large part to DJ Matt. We got a ton of compliments about how incredible the DJ was at the end of the night. Thanks Matt for your part in our perfect night.

my parents dance for the first time in my life. I would 100% recommend!

asy-going personality and seamless communication made the entire wedding day experience smooth and enjoyable. DJ Dax demonstrated a remarkable level of professionalism and dedication to his craft. His ability to keep the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the event was truly impressive. The energy and enthusiasm he brought to the reception created an unforgettable atmosphere that kept guests on their feet and dancing all night long. I would highly recommend DJ Dax to anyone looking for a talented and experienced DJ who can elevate any event to the next level.

s also a fabulous addition - we weren’t sure what we wanted and he helped us pick one to fit our aesthetic. He sent us everything we needed to get him our created playlists, and did a final zoom call to make sure all was correct. He hyped up our guests and worked with our other vendors to make sure timing was correct and that the vibes were immaculate. PLEASE hire him (and his photobooth assistant!) for your wedding/events!! Thank you John!!

through this process. We wanted to be introduced in our grand entrance as The Hoffmans to poke fun at my mom who thought that was going to be my married name. It's not, Its Crawford. DJ John was happy to be in one the joke. We enjoyed how he made our night so fun. We gave him freedom to read the crowd and play songs that everyone would enjoy. Such a great night!

We met him at an open house for our venue and just loved his vibes. We made large playlists with a variety of music we loved and told him to just do his thing, and go off vibes. We had followed him on social media for the year leading up to our wedding and to know Dax is to know you will get quality entertainment. We got so many comments about how awesome and on fire our DJ was! He even came to our rehearsal dinner with speakers! We are so grateful and thankful for you help on our big day Dax!

r system was wonderful and the music sounded great. The cold sparklers were way bigger than I imagined and the Photo Booth was a hit as well! 10/10 would recommend.

our day right. The set up was beyond perfect, the lights, sparklers, and mic system were great. Our guests loved the photo-booth too.

ttentive and responsive throughout the entire year, and he met with us several times throughout the year to orchestrate an effective schedule for our wedding, recommend many different music playlists for each segment of our wedding (he put a great spreadsheet together where we could drop in music playlists), and advise us on all sorts of details that go into organizing a wedding reception. He even accepted last minute music suggestions from us the morning of (which he didn't have to do). On the day of the reception, he arrived early, set up everything quickly, and owned it as our DJ. He was attentive to all of our family and friends that had questions or music recommendations as well. You could not ask for a better DJ for any event you have in mind, and John is someone you can absolutely trust. You'd be in great hands with him, and I know friends of ours will be reaching out to him for their wedding receptions in the future!

meetings with us to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted from him on our wedding day. The end result of his organization was an amazing day of experience. He knew exactly what our goals as the couple was for our big day and helped us to achieve them. Our biggest wish was to have an amazing party with lots of dancing that would get everyone involved and Dax helped deliver that to the max! He was amazing at reading the room/dance floor and playing exactly the right songs to get the party going. He was extremely responsive to requests, especially from the bride and groom. We rented a Photo Booth as well and all of the photos/memories from it will be cherished for the rest of our lives. We would recommend Dax to any couple looking for a wedding DJ, especially friends and family! Thank you, Dax!

t him! John and all his staff are easy to talk to and can keep the party going. We had a rather small and intimate wedding but with John it never felt that way. He was always playing music that got our guests up to the dance floor. Our wedding day was so magical from our ceremony to the reception. John played a huge part in that. Thank you for all that you did, John. Our wedding was a day we will never forget!

cted music using his platform and he even edited a few songs for us to get them just the way we wanted them. His sound system was excellent (I mean so good we got complements on it) - both outside (with wind blowing and everything) and the indoor one for dancing (no echo and good volume control). Dax was an awesome MC and even helped imagine our grand entrance from the balcony. Dax helped us stay on time, and on schedule and we had an awesome event with him. Highly recommend.

to make sure our wedding was a success. He asked all the right questions and was more than open to answer any questions we had along the way. We were very satisfied with everything that came in his DJ package- it really set the tone for the night! The energy in the room was electric and that dance floor was pumping non-stop. If you want a DJ who is caring and fun and not “phoning it in” like other vendors then DJ Dax should be your choice- you will not be disappointed! - Eric & Olya

wered all my questions! He is so organized and detail oriented. Everything ran so smoothly! We couldn’t be happier with our wedding day! It was magical and DJ John played a huge role in making that happen!

happened DJ John supported us the bride and Groom. All my guest raved about the music selection and loved the option to make request. DJ John acted as another event coordinator which helped make our night go so smoothly. He had amazing communication and helped make sure we were on track and was open to last minute changes. We have nothing but amazing things to say about the wedding entertainment. Thank you again for making our night so magical and unforgettable.

ure everything ran smoothly, was an amazing MC/host. From the start The Wedding Entertainment Collective was super responsive, professional, fun, and easy to work with... I could not recommend them enough for your wedding. I am still getting requests from guests for his playlist, where to follow him on Spotify etc. Do not hesitate to book!

couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

eak your wedding. DJ John will make it with out a doubt. His energy, his vibe, his professionalism, his music, lighting, sparklers, photo booth, everything was absolutely top notch. He was so much fun to work with and he made sure he delivered on his promise to give us his all on our wedding night. and styled to our desires perfectly. He worked very closely together with us to make sure our day was perfect and special. I would give 10 stars if I could.

ommend DJ John as you will not be disappointed!

is that DJ John goes above and beyond. From sending us spreadsheets to being one of the most amazing hosts, DJ John was outstanding. He really brought the party to life, I've been to weddings where the DJ could not get a single person up to the dancefloor, but he knew exactly what to do and the dance floor was alive all night. Whenever we had a chance to talk, we could tell he was sincere and passionate about his work and it really made us excited for our wedding day. Best of all, he played the music we wanted. He listened to our concerns, he had us send him the music we loved, and he crafted his playlist throughout the night perfectly. We got to listen to all of our favorite songs, dance to our favorite music, and just really enjoy the night. But beyond all of that, the photo booth provided by DJ John was the next level. It was the standard that all photobooths should aspire to be. The props were clever, unique, and engaging. The attendants were there to help with every issue right away, making sure that everyone got their photos, and keeping everything organized and clean. It was perfection in its finest form. Thank you DJ John! We would be more than happy to hire you for any other events we have.

that we were going for, and kept the dance floor full which is all you can really ask for! He’s very personable, a great MC, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any wedding or event!

timeline and helped to keep the ceremony & reception on track. We included the photo booth in our package and absolutely loved it! Vero helped our guests with the photo booth and she was so fun and friendly. Our guests had so much fun taking photos it was a highlight of our wedding. I will definitely recommend DJ Dax to everyone I know throwing an event!

o work with, made it all about us and what we wanted, and customized the experience to us as a couple and to our families which made it extra special. He was friendly, kind, upbeat, uplifting and fun throughout the entire planning process and event which was a breath of fresh air during a naturally stressful time. He helped us to have the most perfect and fun time ever that we will never forget and I guarantee every event he works will reflect the same result.
