The Waverly was the perfect spot for our wedding last December! If you are looking for an intimate wedding venue that captures the beauty of Englewood, the Waverly is it. Hunter and his team were incredibly hospitable and accommodating during the planning process and event. He took the time to meet with us, walk through all the details of the day, and answer our every question. I dropped off the decorations the day before the wedding, and the Waverly team decorated the venue beautifully - we did not have to worry about anything. We had our ceremony and reception in the upstairs room at 4:30pm, and the view of the beach and ocean was breathtaking. You almost did not need decorations at all. The dance floor, bar, and buffet were all in the same spot, and this layout lent itself to easy mingling all night long. Directly outside was a balcony perfect for photos and enjoying the winter weather. Hunter orchestrated all the details of the day, and served as an amazing built-in wedding planner. The bartenders and wait staff were efficient and professional, and made the entire night easy and peaceful. We chose a buffet with steak, salmon and chicken (with veggies and potatoes on the side). The food at the Waverly is always great, but the food that night was particularly outstanding. Our guests continue to remark about how fun and enjoyable the event was. We are so grateful to the Waverly team for making our wedding day special.

If your desire is for a casual barefoot in the sand wedding on the beach with the sun setting on the horizon or a formal affair, our event coordinator will make your wishes come true. The Waverly Restaurant's Soiree Room is a gem which is nestled on Manasota Key in Southwest Florida . Our venue touts floor to ceiling windows as well as spectacular breathtaking water and beach views , with an attached outdoor veranda. Exchange nuptials underneath our handmade natural orchid arch, a bamboo chuppah, or a a more traditional style arch. Later on, enjoy a deliciously crafted meal in the Soiree Room with an elegant flair. Laugh and dance the night away with you friends and family who will rave about their experience as well as our friendly staff and superb service.

The beach ceremony setup was beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned. The food was absolutely incredible—our guests are still talking about it! stormed right up until our ceremony was supposed to start. Lauren was so great with assuring us everything would work out and it did. We did our ceremony right inside the Soiree Room. I think a lot of our guests actually really like that arrangement! We were able to go get some sunset pictures after the storm cleared out, thankfully! We chose a buffet for dinner. We had filet and stuffed chicken, rice, and green beans. Everything was flawlessly cooked and delicious!! Our guests were telling us all night how delicious everything was! The staff and bartender were on point! Very easy going and fun! Lauren recommended our baker to us for our cake and cupcakes. Oh my goodness!! Soooo delicious! And so reasonably priced as well! eaves nothing to chance and plenty of room to truly enjoy the experience of getting married! In the planning phase, Frank was completely available and kept us aware of our timeline. Fast forward to the big day, and the beach set up looked like a movie set. The food was the best we ever had at a wedding, our guests were happy and so well taken care of. We enjoyed the appetizers - the (giant) shrimp cocktail, the cheese tray and the bruschetta. Our servers were funny, warm and lightheartedly interacted with our guests. I have 78 yrs young parents, and Frank made sure they were a priority, too. I felt like I lived the fairy tale. The Soiree Room is lovely with floor to ceiling glass walls that are palm tree top level and the Gulf is in view. The reception was timed to get the best of the afternoon to evening skies over the Gulf. I really don't think we could have had a more beautiful wedding. Put your trust in Frank, he is a master wedding planner, and he has it down to a science while still leaving room to accommodate all the little details most brides bring to their event. I have been to dozens of weddings as a guest, but being lucky enough to have my dream wedding is more than I could ask for. Everything was timed perfectly, looked wonderful, there were simply no issues. I have happy memories start to finish and I credit The Waverly and Frank with making it possible.

We followed Frank's preferred vendor list for flowers, DJ, photographers and efficient. Everyone we selected was professional, curtious and made our day worry free. This was a perfect wedding for both Jennifer and myself as well as our family and friends. We wish ther was a 10 star rating to properly rate the Waverly, Frank as well as the hard working staff.

The pictures DO NOT represent just how beautiful this venue is. We had 71 guests, and they all raved about how it was one of, if not the best wedding they had ever been to. The food was simply amazing. The staff were very professional yet were fun as well :) We had a perfect sunny 77 degree day to enjoy our 5PM ceremony time, which we then went back across the street for our sunset photos. If you are looking for a perfect beach wedding with a very nice reception spot, you must book The Waverly, you will be so glad you did!!

He was in contact with me every step of the way and certainly made everything easy on me. It ended up raining the day of our wedding and the beach ceremony had to be moved inside and Frank took care of everything.
